Great location. Very clean. Perfect breakfast. The hotel is very quiet even though the location is central. The staff will do anything to make your stay supreme. Will definitely recommend to everyone about this hotel.

Quiet hotel but right on Wenceslas Square where there are so many things to do! Short walk to Old Town and the river as well. Great breakfast, comfortable beds.

The hotel is at the top of Wenceslas Square and an easy 8 minute walk from the main train station. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room overlooked the National Museum and had a balcony. Pretty Sweet.

The building is fine but not luxurious. For example, the interior halls were somewhat narrow, but the room was well equipped and comfortable.

The room was large (Suite) and clean with a nice balcony with a view of the lively street (which can be quite crowded on a weekend). The breakfast area was also quite nice with a good selection in the buffet. The check-in process went smoothly and we felt welcomed.

As a lot of people mentioned in the reviews - there is no parking available in the hotel, so either use the valet parking service from the hotel or find parking nearby as I did (there are quite a few nearby with online booking).

The location is incredible, excellent, magnificent...just to name a few synonyms that can make guests speechless! I had a only short night in hotel, without breakfast, because of busy connecting flights, but would love to return to Occidental next time in near future!

super clean , amazing location

Our room overlooked the city on the fifth floor and had a very comfortable bed. The shower had great water pressure. Location was also perfect, able to walk everywhere we needed.

The room did get a little hot and we were unable to reduce the thermostat any further.

all pre-arrival requirements have been met. I asked for room decoration and a cake for my daughter's 18th birthday. everything was perfect

The property is in an extremely strategic location. Above a metro station, 10 minutes' walk from Prague's main station. 15 minutes' walk from the historic center and in front of the National Museum. The staff is very friendly and helped us save a lot of money on the return taxi (they took care of everything), which cost around €30. The cleaning service is extremely efficient; leaving the room at 9:00 and returning at 14:00 for a short rest, we always found everything ready. Just around the corner, you're on one of Prague's most important streets with, I believe, more than 100 places to eat or buy anything you need. The hotel, in general, has a beautiful lobby and corridors, and the room is also nice. The bed is very soft, as are the pillows. The room is equipped with a minibar, a kettle for instant coffee and tea. The shower is very nice. The desk is spacious, and there is also a large wardrobe with a built-in mini-safe. Overall, I am very satisfied.

Some tiles on the bathroom floor were loose, which wasn't a problem for me, but I know it might bother some more particular guests. The hairdryer isn't very efficient; it takes a bit of time to dry hair. Actually, there isn't much that I didn't like.

We had a special stay at the Occidental for 3 nights. It's right on Wenceslas Square, next to the Museum metro stop, and not far from the main train station. We'd booked a family room which pleasantly turned out to be connected adjoining rooms. They were very comfortable, well appointed, and well sound proofed. The staff must have noticed that it was my birthday, and they left some cake and champage in my room which really made my day.

We looked at so many Prague hotels and are so happy we settled with the Occidental. It’s a fabulous hotel in a great location. We were given an upgrade and had a wonderfully spacious, extremely clean room overlooking the museum. Despite the busy road beneath us we heard nothing except the odd siren. I’ve never stayed in a hotel with such good soundproofing! No sound from any rooms either. And not forgetting the great buffet breakfast! A lovely dining area, never too busy and always delicious and kept well stocked. Last but not least all the staff are very friendly, helpful and obliging. Could not ask for more in a hotel. We loved Prague, in part thanks to this hotel! Thank you!

This is not my first stay in this hotel. It has beautiful rooms, comfortable and well-equipped. Location is great, in the city centre and just next to red and green metro lines. It is in a walking distance from Old Town square. There are a lot of restaurants around working till late. Personnel in the hotel is also nice.

The room was clean and spacious. The location is exceptional (Wenceslas Square and the National Museum). There was even a coffee maker in the room (a nice touch) and many complimentary amenities.

Great location, friendly and accommodating staff, very nice room, solid breakfast.

The view of the National Museum from the room was worth the cost of the room alone. Also, the room was extremely quiet even though it is on a street with a lot of traffic and was in a busy part of town. The staff were wonderful and helpful and the daily breakfast was a great and affordable way to start off the day. The hotel is within walking distance of most of the major sites and the metro is right outside the entrance. The train station is about a 5 minute walk.

The only minor glitch was the television set which did not turn on properly. We always had to reset it (I think it was an internet issue).

The overall environment, breakfast and service were all excellent. The bed was really comfortable too!

It was a little cramped. The room had a strange layout.

The room was beautiful, with an excellent bed, a nice leather chair, a useful desk and desk chair, a wardrobe and minibar. The bathroom was very nice, though it did not have a bath - it had a walk-in shower. The hotel's location is excellent, right on the edge of Wenceslas Square and within easy walking distance of the railway station (which is also where the Airport Express picks up and drops off passengers). Despite the central (and busy) location, the sound insulation was very good and I had no noise disturbances at all. The view of the museum building across the street was excellent.

Check out was a bit of a problem. I had to leave early for the airport and had to wait for some time for someone to come to reception to do the check out. This took a while, and the clerk said that I had to pay the city tax, which the booking (via Booking.com) said I had already paid. I did not have time to argue, so I paid (again), but then made a complaint via the hotel's online system after I double checked my booking and found that I had indeed already paid. The customer service person online responded fairly quickly, saying that I had paid before and that the new charge would be refunded to my credit card, which I am waiting for (it should appear soon, I hope, but it's only been a few days). This was annoying, but has been dealt with. Otherwise, I was surprised at how few English-language TV channels were available (two).

The location is perfect to be in centre of Prague. The room was very clean.

It felt very luxurious with robes and slippers and a balcony over looking the history museum and Main Street. Great location for us as we had to get a train at 6am and it’s 5 minutes walk from the station!

Occidental Praha Wilson is truly spectacular in service with exceptional staff who take care of your little needs, everyone speaks in English, and the room with the Muzeum view is perfect and gives an excellent overview of the main street. Breakfast has many choices from scrambled eggs to toast, croissants, juice, and smoothies. I love Occidental Praha Wilson and it makes the stay very relaxing and comfortable.

Nothing as such so far

The location is very good next to the National Museum. Old town is 15mins walk. the hotel is close to the shopping street. we booked a family room. Which is two connecting rooms, both rooms had view of the national museum. The gentlemen in the reception were very friendly and helpful.

The air conditioner in the rooms were very bad we couldn't sleep during the night. when complaining to the lady in the entrance reception she was accusing us that we open the windows which we never did. This lady was very rude and we didn't like her attitude at all.
