From Reception, breakfast area, the room and bathroom, everywhere is elegant and spotless.
Professional staff. We particularly appreciated Sujan and night staff, others were mildly amiable.

Great central hotel for a short break.
Really central hotel, comfortable room & great breakfast included. You are paying for the location which was excellent for our trip.
Rooms are a bit dated, also hotel not 5 star as rated. Facilities available would also support this but this was explained to us on arrival.

Look no further for a excellent value for money Prague hotel
We looked at so many Prague hotels and are so happy we settled with the Occidental. It’s a fabulous hotel in a great location. We were given an upgrade and had a wonderfully spacious, extremely clean room overlooking the museum. Despite the busy road beneath us we heard nothing except the odd siren. I’ve never stayed in a hotel with such good soundproofing! No sound from any rooms either. And not forgetting the great buffet breakfast! A lovely dining area, never too busy and always delicious and kept well stocked. Last but not least all the staff are very friendly, helpful and obliging. Could not ask for more in a hotel. We loved Prague, in part thanks to this hotel! Thank you!

Clean, cimortable bed
Room 509 has some major airconditionig or some engine on the ajacent wall and this was turning on and off in 1 minute intervals and because window is not very soundproof sllepong was not the brst experience

Excellent hotel in the city centre
This is not my first stay in this hotel. It has beautiful rooms, comfortable and well-equipped. Location is great, in the city centre and just next to red and green metro lines. It is in a walking distance from Old Town square. There are a lot of restaurants around working till late. Personnel in the hotel is also nice.

Awesome value for money.
The room was clean and spacious. The location is exceptional (Wenceslas Square and the National Museum).
There was even a coffee maker in the room (a nice touch) and many complimentary amenities.

Excellent Stay in Prague
The location was great and the breakfast was really good.
In a perfect location to walk the sights while less than 10 minutes walk to the train station.

Wonderful Place to Stay in the Midst of Prague
The view of the National Museum from the room was worth the cost of the room alone. Also, the room was extremely quiet even though it is on a street with a lot of traffic and was in a busy part of town. The staff were wonderful and helpful and the daily breakfast was a great and affordable way to start off the day. The hotel is within walking distance of most of the major sites and the metro is right outside the entrance. The train station is about a 5 minute walk.
The only minor glitch was the television set which did not turn on properly. We always had to reset it (I think it was an internet issue).

The overall environment, breakfast and service were all excellent. The bed was really comfortable too!
