Hotel NYX, Prague

Location was convenient, between train station and historic city center. Easily walkable to most sights or public transport. Breakfast buffet was nicely stocked. Room was clean and comfortable.

When other guests were in the hall, it was very load. The room was very quiet otherwise.

Location is great! Easy walking access, and also access to public transport. Breakfast is good. Rooms are tiny, but enough for spending the night.

I was surprised that I booked a room for 2 people and a room for 1 people, for both reservations I chose breakfast. Different prices for the rooms, because one for 2 people and the other for just 1. But when I got there, the reception told me I had booked a room for 1 person and another for 1 person!!! had to pay even more for 2 day breakfast.... even when I had previously chosen a room for 2 people.

The room was a little small

Very nice facility on a quiet street. About 6-7 minute walk from train station. Easy walks to Old Town, even Charles Bridge. Staff was very helpful and had some great restaurants recommendations. Watched our bags after checkout so we could continue touristing

Small size room we have Parking is a bit complicated to go in though it is close and very expensive we paid 41 euro per night!!!

Everything was great! The room and bathroom were beautiful. Staff were super helpful and organised airport transfers for me. The bar is also lovely. The hotel is a perfect walking distance to Old Town Square and everywhere you need to get to. Couldn't be happier with my stay.

Location and very friendly staff who helped me in every possible way as I had strained leg muscle . Rooms had high ceiling and large windows. Everything from hotel was within walking distance , be it be old town or high end street .

Room a bit too small

We were greeted by courteous staff that were helpful and immediately offered a room upgrade which we were happy to accept. The room was clean and had all the necessary facilities including coffee maker, android tv , refrigerator and complimentary bottled water. Breakfast selection was excellent and property was in heart of Prague for shopping, sightseeing etc

Super nice staff allowing us to change room after one night. Rooms on 5th floor were quiet, bright and very nice. Good breakfast and very trendy artwork in the hotel.

First night spent in rooms on first floor which was very loud with the tram just outside. Beds quite hard and a bit lumpy.

Staff worked perfectly, extremely kind people. Location is excellent with proximity to transportation, shopping, eatery and touristic attractions. Clean and quiet room with all required facilities.

The hotel was in a perfect location, close to everything within walking distance. The room was spacious and comfortable, very clean and well decorated. The receptionists were kind and helped me a lot. The breakfast was very varied, everything was fresh and tasty A very high class hotel.

Tv was difficult to work - even after staff informed. No English channels and couldn’t AirPlay from phone not sure why. More tea,coffee and milk should be left in rooms - we had 2 milk cartons and 1 tea bag over 3 night stay Not much seating area around foyer to wait for transport

Size of the room

Really great staff, especially Soliman when I arrived (+ Veronika) who helped me find a room I was very happy with for my 4 nights, so I could completely enjoy my stay in Prague. Loved the comfortable bed and hotel design. Also the bar staff for providing an ice bucket + glasses for champagne. It is the little things that make a big difference.

I booked this room for my 71 year old mum, who was coming on holiday to Prague but wanted to stay in a hotel rather than the Airbnb I was staying in. I requested a room with an accessible bathroom. When she arrived in Prague we went straight to the hotel. Although she was early, the member of reception staff (I think he was called Leon) was friendly and told mum she could book in early. Mum isn’t good with “the internet” and hadnt trusted the self check in online, so she had to fill in the form, and he carefully guided her through without making her feel silly. We were able to accompany mum up to her room with her luggage. Her room was on the 4th floor - the lift was fast and smooth and the corridor floor was completely flat (no steps, stairs or bumps) The room was nicely laid out and a good size for one person - I think it would have been cramped for two. bathroom was brilliantly accessible and even had a stool for use in the shower if needed. The room was cleaned daily to a high standard. Mum only had breakfast in the hotel once but she enjoyed it and it was priced at 16 crowns which is a standard price for Prague breakfasts. The reception staff were able to book her a taxi to the airport which she also appreciated.

Although the bathroom was accessible, the towels were stored on a high shelf above the toilet. This was easy for a mid to tall adult to reach but was difficult for my mum at 5 ft 2 and would be hard for anyone with limited mobility. Likewise the magnifying mirror was set up quite high so was difficult for shorter people to use. The TV had a lot of channels but mum found it difficult to find any English language channels other than Sky News. The NYX is a business style hotel so it makes some kind of sense but she missed having some “easy” TV channels. The room has really good lighting and some blue led stripe mood lighting but none of the light switches are labelled so it wasn’t easy for her to know which one it was, and the telephone didn’t work to call reception (although this could have been mum using it wrong) These are really small issues though - mum is 71 and not the hotel’s target market. She really enjoyed her stay.

I stayed 2 nights, and the first night I slept very well. The bed was comfortable, it was quiet and I could sleep with the window open for fresh air. The 2nd night was terrible due to a lot of noise. There was a party in the hotel downstairs, and the music was very loud - even though it was a Thursday. It also lasted after midnight. I had to close my window, and the rooms are very warm. Luckily i had some earplugs with me. If there was no noise then the stay would have been a 10!

Staff on arrival were very polite and informative and helpful. The room was spacious for a family of 4 as too was the bathroom. Very modern feel to the whole hotel, great location in the city centre, close to shops and attractions.

Perhaps the fact that there was only one elevator and sometimes there was a wait but stairs were easy accessible also.

Excellent location, making it easy to explore the area. Our room was well-appointed and comfortable, and we truly like the stylish design throughout the property. The team was friendly and accommodating, enhancing our overall experience. Highly recommend!

The room cleaning schedule from 14:00 to 16:00 was a bit too late for us

The location was perfect. Lots of restaurants and cafes close by. It's just a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the Old Town Prague. Just loved the location. It's the perfect location if travelling by train and you can manage your luggage.

Not sure I like the decor, but that's really just a matter of personal taste.

The front desk staff were very helpful, especially at check-in and when helping us print off our return boarding passes.

Ideally located for exploring the city and near the station. Liked the decor and the facilities. The room was pretty tight for space but we weren’t in it too much so not a problem apart from suitcases. It’s in a quiet area, nice to walk around in the evening, loads of places to eat or get drinks nearby.
