Falkensteiner Boutique Hotel, Prague

One-minute walk from the train station, five minute walk to the national museum— yet extremely quiet. The breakfast (especially the juices and the Egg-Benedict) was exceptional. The spa was clean and relaxing, with a great sauna.

The only thing I can think about has to do with decoration: for hotel in such quality, I would expect *real* plants — or no plants. The fake plant in the room and lobby were a bit odd

Clean and welcoming. Staff were helpful and friendly. Smooth check in and out. Good extras in the room like a fridge, sewing kit, water, coffee making facilities. I would recommend you take extra pods with you if Like us you drink a lot of coffee. The gym was small but well equipped, with water, towels and caps on offer to use for free.. Beds were big and very comfortable, the room size itself was very good with a wardrobe ,which lit up when you opened it, table and chairs. The bathroom was a good size, great shower, all the usual toiletries available,with plenty of towels. There was a proper full size hair dryer as a pose to the normal "attached to the wall useless" ones you normally get . There was also a mirror in the bathroom which was ideal for make-up or a shave as it was magnified and had lights around it...I loved this and want one at home now . The breakfast was really good,all the staff were lovely and friendly. A good selection of continental to help yourself to ,also a menu was given to us with cooked food to choose from free of charge. The reception staff were kind enough to book us a taxi one night as the walk over the bridge was a bit much to do again in the evening. All in all a great place to stay and reasonably priced for everything that you get. The location was ideal as it was 5 mins walk from the main train station and only 5 min walk to the main shopping square.

Not much not to like . A few small things ... The heating in the room was hard to get down, it was cold outside but it was too hot for us in the room. I found it easier turn it off completely and to open a window. Went to the monkey bar one night, if you like cocktails then it's great if not a little pricey compared to other local bars. Limited selection of beers, nothing on tap.

It was beautiful. We stayed here for one night and it was fantastic the restaurant in the hotel is SO GOOD and so are the cocktails. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The only negative was that there is no onsite parking which we did not realize and it was not a big deal except the recommended parking garage was full so we did have to drive around and find parking. Was not a big issue just something we wish we realized beforehand so that we could have reserved parking.

Breakfast was nice. The hotel also has a good location if you are wanting to walk around but also have to visit other places outside of the city center.

Beautiful hotel, perfect location, nice staff. I loved the scent when you entered the room. Rooms were spacious and nicely designed, bed super comfy and loved the mirror in the bathroom. Good selection for breakfast with some really tasty options, gym was not too big but nice and perfect for morning workout.

There was no parking even though on booking it says it is. Had to book a parking on my own. It was close to the hotel but why having parking included as your facility if there is none?

Everything was perfect! The hotel was exceptionally clean, very cozy, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The breakfasts were delicious with a great variety of options, and the location was excellent. We truly enjoyed our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer! My inner aesthete was truly satisfied!

The room was very nice. Bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. Both the buffet and the ala cart. Staff were helpful and friendly speaking very good English. I would recommend.

The seating and the shower. The chairs were small and only moderately comfortable. The shower which was similar to all of the showers in the European hotels we stayed in. Are cold small and spray into the room unless I took care to not have them do so. They all have a glass panel covering half the shower area. No way to close them off to decrease drafts. Nor keep the water inside the shower.

Immaculate clean and very comfortable hotel. Great location in quiet area but within 10 mins walk to the Old Town and close to good transport links. Plentiful breakfast with varied selection. Stylish cocktail bar, gym and sauna on the ground floor.

we had a lovely big corner room with windows overlooking the street. The staff were very welcoming and the waitressing staff at breakfast were exceptional.

The staff ! Jan was so welcoming on our arrival with a fantastic sense of humour and the same can be said for Adam . Nothing was too much trouble. Outstanding service from Kate in the bar on both occasions that she looked after us. Spotless rooms with fabulous beds and pillows . Amazing walk in shower . Delicious breakfast with everything you could think of. I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

The room is good, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff is welcoming and eager to help with anything needed. The hotel's location is excellent and allows for a relatively short walk to most attractions, entertainment centers and shopping. The breakfast is very rich and varied, allowing every diner to choose what they like.

The hotel's definition as a spa hotel is a bit expansive given the facilities it had, which included a gym and sauna.

The hotel enjoys an excellent location, within easy walking distance of the Old Town and all the main attractions. Particularly noteworthy is the well-maintained, clean, and spacious gym and saunas — a major highlight and big advantage for this property. The staff are genuinely warm, friendly, and very accommodating. The on-site Monkey Bar is a fantastic addition, offering delicious food and drinks in a lively, enjoyable atmosphere.

Some of the services like scented pillows were not available yet advertised.

They could have more staff at their bar during the night, we went there a few times and there was always some wait to get service.

We had a very small room. The room could have been cleaned a bit better as the landline phone was filthy and there were vitamins left from previous guest.

We stayed at the Falkensteiner Hotel in Prague from December 20th to 22nd as a couple, and our experience was absolutely outstanding. From the very beginning, the welcome was excellent: the staff was kind, professional, and extremely helpful. With a small extra fee, we were able to enjoy both early check-in and late check-out, and on top of that we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a higher-category room. The room was exceptionally spacious, modern, elegant, and beautifully maintained, offering a perfect balance of comfort and style. One of the highlights of our stay was the spa area, which includes a sauna, steam bath, relaxation zone, and a herbal tea corner. It was the perfect way to unwind after long walks through the cold, charming streets of Prague. The entire hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, with festive details and stylish decorations inspired by the hotel’s bar theme. Speaking of which, we truly enjoyed the Monkey Bar, where we had the pleasure of tasting some creative, visually stunning, and delicious cocktails. Breakfast was simply fantastic: a refined and varied buffet combined with à la minute hot dishes of exceptional quality. I absolutely loved the scrambled eggs with truffle and parmesan — truly unforgettable. Overall, this was an amazing and memorable experience. If we ever return to Prague, we would definitely choose the Falkensteiner again without hesitation.

Booking on their own site is a pain so I had to do via booking com. They should have an easier process for returning guests

The staff were amazing. They went above and beyond to help. I loved the ginger shots in the morning. Each person was so kind and welcoming and made it feel like it was a home away from experience. Best espresso martini ever! At night I loved the fireplace in the room that they would turn on. It made the room very cozy.

Beautiful hotel. Upon entry they have free mulled wine and cookies that you're welcome to all day. Rooms are large and comfortable. The sauna is top notch too with a steam room and a finske ~ 210F room. With tea and relaxation areas. Huge gym. 5 min walk to Subway and 15 to Old Town Astrological clock
