The Rebello, Porto

Lovely views from the room. Comfy beds with mattress toppers. Good supplied selection of snacks and drinks. Very helpful desk staff. Quiet location but walking distance to all the busy nearby attractions.

Breakfast was busy, they need a larger venue for such a large number of rooms. Slightly noisy room cleaning personnel as they made the assumption that nobody used their rooms during the day.

Fantastic location to enjoy Porto. Our room was roomy and comfortable- there was plenty of space for 4 adults. Breakfast was amazing and the staff provided great service.

My favorite hotel we stayed at during our two week trip to Portugal, the room exceeded my expectations and the staff was professional and friendly. We loved the location of the hotel and my kids loved the pool and whirlpool.

It’s location is fantastic, great view! Quiet place and walking distance to stores, wineries, coffee shops and everything next to the water. The room was super spacious and clean and they have the best staff at the reception always open to help.

The hotel is excellent. Great location, friendly staff, superb facilities including the spa and gym. Food in the Pot and Pan restaurant was exceptional with lots of choice. Would highly recommended to anyone.

The hotel is simply wonderful! The service is impeccable, and the attention given to both pets and guests is truly exceptional. I've traveled to many places around the world, but without a doubt, the service at The Rebello is one of the best I've ever experienced. I highly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at The Rebello was absolutely amazing! The location is perfect — overlooking the Douro River with stunning views of Porto. The rooms were stylish, spacious, and so comfortable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. Every detail, from the breakfast to the spa and restaurant, was exceptional. We truly loved every moment and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Porto!

I called from overseas, Anna A answered. She was an excellent Ambassador and a pleasure to work with in person. Upon arrival, I met Hugo and Jessica. Hugo asked if I minded Jessica listening in because she had just started. Hugo was thoughtful and kind. An exceptional Ambassador. Anna A and Hugo were first class. I was there for 7 days. I got to know the staff. From Wilson who helped me set up my Amazon Fire stick to Kayla and Claudia in the restaurant all very good. Jessica was following in Hugo's footsteps. All Rebello staff were giving the best of themselves. Rebello you are doing something very right with your staff. I hope they continue to truly embody the spirit of hospitality. The thoughtful staff, clean facility, amenities, a stunning panoramic view of Porto, and the breakfast; the best I have ever had. I am well traveled. These are the reasons I would return. Keep up the good work Rebello.

While the property's location came as a surprise, being outside of central Porto, I quickly came to appreciate its advantages. An Uber ride to the Photography museum, the meeting point of many walking tours, took 30 min., partly due to current subway construction. A surprise. Am accustomed to being central. I soon discovered the nearby beautiful 2 story bridge, and the delightful walkability of the area.

The hotel has great installations, and the service was overall very good. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the views from the hotel are truly fantastic — definitely a highlight of the stay. Staff were generally friendly and helpful, making the experience pleasant in many ways.

However, there were a few things that took away from the overall experience. Most notably, the restaurant policy was frustrating — you couldn’t get seated for breakfast without a prior reservation, which felt odd considering breakfast was already included in the booking. Additionally, orders like omelettes or anything off the menu took over 30 minutes to be prepared. Another thing to note is that some rooms are located very far down long hallways, requiring quite a bit of walking. This should really be mentioned ahead of time, especially for guests with mobility concerns or older travelers.

Helpful and friendly staff. The 3 bedroom apartment worked really well for 6 people, nice ensuites, good living/communal area and spacious terrace.

Breakfast buffet was great but when it was busy (after 9am) service (for eggs and coffees) was very slow. We got the impression that the kitchen struggled to cope.

Staff were extremely accommodating and went to the ends of the earth for us. The beds were some of the most comfortable we’ve ever stayed in. Loved the tranquility of the balcony. Breakfast was excellent and there was a plethora of choice. One of my favourite hotel stays ever!

It’s an amazing hotel ! Super clean , super aesthetically pleasing. Dream of tranquility, even the smell of vervain (verbena) in every corner, soo great.

We enjoyed everything, the only think I “could” complain about was that the kind of forgot one request of breakfast in the room service, but they did end up delivering it super quick.

Fabulous location and service from the staff. Loved the breakfast, Pots & Pans for a lovely dinner and the Bello rooftop bar for views to die for. Will definitely be back and wouldn’t stay anywhere else now.

Some dishwashing liquid or dishwasher tablets in the kitchen would be helpful but not a big deal

The room was one of the best I have ever stayed in. The SPACE was that of an apartment, not a hotel room. The rooftop bar and cocktails were outstanding.

Excellent location with everything you need for a short stay. Beautiful river view with a window that opened to hear the sounds. Loved the complimentary bar and Rebel theme. We purchased the included breakfast. Breakfast was great and accommodated my gluten free allergy with options. Concierge at check in gave excellent recommendations. I think his name was Miguel. He was fantastic! I would absolutely stay here again.

The cleaning was a little rushed but still fine. This was likely due to us booking the room last minute and they had a lot of check ins.

The room we stayed it was large and well designed with plenty of storage. The spa was great and the breakfast was delicious.

Location and view from the windows, balconies. They upgraded our room, which was huge for the two of us☺️.

Great room 329. fantastic view over the river Douro. comfortable bed, very clean. Kettle, toaster, dishwasher, oven, hob. First drinks from the mini bar were free. Breakfast was brilliant lots of choice including freshly cooked eggs however you liked, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes and more on the hot side. Car parking available. Walking distance to restaurants.

Maid turned the air con on while we were at dinner, room was very hot when we got back.
