Great centred location

Charge me 5 eur for a bottle of water, what 5 star hotel wants to charge and scams their guest of an additional 5 eur per bottle of water. Only giving 1 free one a day

Noisy aircon woke me up several times by clicking and buzzing, long waiting at desk both check in and out. Extra 50 eur held at check in.

A nice respite from a very busy city. A very good location. Clean and large room and bathroom with plenty of space.

There were several problems for this stay, in contrast to our earlier one, which went well. First, when we arrived, we were assigned to a room on the first floor next to a very busy and noisy street. We had requested a quiet room. The receptionist tried to tell us that we had actually requested the street! Fortunately, after a short wait a nice room in accordance with our request was found. Second, one of the beds was not comfortable. Finally, we were denied even half an hour later check out, and required to check out no later than 12 noon on the dot. As if every room could be cleaned at the same time! This is a very expensive hotel and should have done better.

Wonderful hotel! The bed was luxurious with turndown service, the staff was extremely courteous and helpful and the location was close to everything we wished to see. The gym equipment was in good condition and it was open early which was great!

The breakfast was crowded and the options were limited.

We loved the central location of the hotel. The staff were very kind , courteous and attentive to our needs. There were small nice touches that the staff had done throughout our stay.

Excellent location, walking distance to many of the major attractions. Very comfortable large room. Very good breakfast and bar area. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

Current work on the new metro line close to the hotel did create traffic congestion.

Coffee was not freshly made, nor was it hot. In many other cheaper hotels nowadays there are excellent coffee machines with a large choice of very good freshly made coffees on the spot.

We wish we knew about road works taking place in front of the hotel from 8am until after 6pm.
Also apart from the noise and traffic we didn’t have the view that was promised on the web.

Perfectly situated to walk around the area. Very close to restaurants and pedestrianised area.

The hotel is well maintained, feels quality as soon as you enter, spacious room, staff at front desk a bit naive but the concierge services were fantastic. The linens - oh the linens. The bedding was amazingly comfortable and cozy. Turn down service a bonus. The room was always well attended to. Food in the bar and breakfast was delightful.

It couldn’t be helped but the construction was a bit distracting. Will be wonderful when all is complete!

Only good point of this hotel is location, location, location !! Centrally located, easy access to all places. But Room light is very dark, dimmy. All equipment are old fashioned, such as electric switch, marble granite color is wierd, stand shower is very small even for my small body figure. Shower water flow is not strong. Space is very very small. My wife said bed is old enough too, mattress is too soft. I would not come back again if I found a better hotel in Porto in the same best location.

Hotel is too old facilitated in all. , too old, need modifications of so many stuffs. Location is its best, that is it. If you want just location, then this is your first choice, Nothing else .
If you have other expectations for hotel requirement, then choose other hotels.

it was bit hot and i guess the aircon was not working on the cooling mode ,there was white stains on the shower black marble floor mostly of soap which was not cleaned properly, the clean my room and do not distub buttons are very confusing lastly the front desk communication skills was not good

The room and bathroom should have been more updated.

Liked the location and breakfasts that are very good. Staff are great and very helpful. Front office manager is great and a go to person for solving problems.

Rooms need an uplift like rooms on top floor that have been renovated. Occasional staff encounters with staff that don’t go out of their way to assist is amply made up by front office duty manager who is the go to person to solve issues.

it’s in a central location and it’s clean

The hotel is clean and well located. Breakfast is good.

The hotel is in the middle of the city so it was a bit crowded, but you’re close to everything. The rooms are pretty. The hotel lobby too. Staff are very professional and accommodating. We lost our luggage and the staff called the airlines every day many times until we got it back.

Is peek season so the city was busy and there was construction by the building. But we managed the sleep well.

It’s comfortable and have many type of pillow to service. Spa Therapist is really nice , she has professional skill. Perfect location.

In The first day arriving , I ve found the spoon that already using in the Cocktail portion service in room. It’s so dirty because it was still have something stick on it.
