Fantastic location! Only global-brand hotel in the old town. Close to all attractions and good restaurants. The staff at the front door and concierge were exceptionally friendly!

Construction in front of the hotel. Not noisy but you have to make a detour. Breakfast offerings were limited and my sunny side up was not made to perfection throughout the stay.

Nothing really. There was some roadwork taking place out front of the hotel but we were warned about this at the time of booking and it really didn’t impact our stay.

The property is beautiful and the location, normally would be great. The subway construction right in front of the hotel is a horrible impediment. we switched sides and it was quiet and very comfortable. The staff that we encountered were all delightful and eager to help. The dining room staff were very kind and warm!

Very good location and very clean with very friendly and helpful staff. Beds were extremely comfortable, the bar waiter was very friendly and there was some live music on Saturday evening.

Breakfast was good but missed out slightly on the 5 star standards. The a la carte dishes were pre-prepared and were served almost cold. The sweet breads were placed out from beginning of breakfast and were hard and stale by 10am. Omelettes were made fresh however and were very good. The construction outside was not loud at the weekend however on Monday morning it shook the entire hotel.

The location was excellent. The room was clean and spacious. The view was marred by the construction of the metro line but you could see how good it was going to be.

The hotel had amazing service and was in a perfect central location. Also the breakfast buffet offered is worth it and amazing! Loved the service that the staff provided for an enjoyable girls trip especially the connecting rooms and egg tarts offered to us in our rooms!

nothing. I think people who are harsh about the construction in front of the hotel should let it go. its part of the city's expansion of the subway and the hotel does its best not to impact the guests. I did not find it a problem and it was pouring rain when we were there. The hotel is completely worth it!!!

Nothing to do with the hotel but the new tramline construction work meantime spoils the historic centre of Porto. The extent and the location of the works was most definitely a negative.

i have my regards with breakfast, deserves a better experience, even if products are fine a bit more effort here will be a nice plus.

The hotel is located in the heart of magical Porto with all the important streets and sites within walking distance. The staff are extremely welcoming, in particular Hugo. There is major construction in front of the hotel, which resulted in diverting the entrance, but we didn’t hear any noise and it didn’t affect our stay. The hotel room was spacious and comfortable and had all the amenities.

The Airconditioning wasn’t strong nor cold enough. The room wasn’t well ventilated.

The location is great! Right in the center of all of the tourist sights. The concierge was VERY helpful with directions to sights, explaining what to see, and helping us book train tickets to Lisbon.

The hotel has no control over the construction going on for the Metro expansion. However, your GPS can get turned around when trying to get back to the hotel as some construction paths get closed off - so try and get oriented during the day. We had a room in the back of the hotel so it was still a quiet stay.

The location of the hotel was on point as it is located around the main square, however there is major construction taking place as they are working on connecting an underground transportation station. The noise level was better than expected. The room was very clean and a good size! The staff was very friendly! They were helpful in giving us recommendations for good local places to go, as well as, giving us directions. They happily greeted us at every coming and going.

Unfortunately, the breakfast(s) was not very good. It had a very nice atmosphere but the food could have been fresher and tastier. The bar area was nice but missing that 'oomph'. Overall a really nice hotel! Porto is a beautiful and historic place to visit, it also had great little restaurants and shops but best of all live music can be found at many of the corners down Rua das Flores.
