Amazing and helpful staff! Comfortable room and interesting concept of hotel ! Reception staff very efficient with problem solving!

Some coordination at breakfast needed ☺️

We had an amazing river view and balcony on city side and river side. The breakfast was amazing. The staff was amazing. The grounds were amazing. The location was amazing, on a hill with an amazing walk to downtown. The bathroom layout was interesting but not an issue.

That other hotels on our trip weren't as nice :P

Short stay wish i had stayed in this city longer

Lovely hotel & excellent facilities. This was my second trip to the hotel and I had recommended it to my friends. They checked in later in the day to me and were both given room upgrades, which was fantastic for them but would have been a nice if I also had one!

In the most basic room which was nice but bathroom very small and cramped. Breakfast was a bit understaffed and sometimes a long wait for cooked eggs & coffee.

The staff was amazing!! So friendly, helpful beyond measure and attentive! Fantastic location, valet parking, and easy to walk to everything Porto has to offer.Spa services were excellent, we would highly recommend the couples massage! Wonderful view of the river from the restaurant and our room. Breakfast was fantastic, had everything you could possibly want, including fresh made to order omelettes! But absolutely the most impressive thing was the amazing staff....from the reception to the valet to the cleaning staff,restaurant staff, spa staff everyone treated us wonderfully. Polite, helpful, and seemed genuinely happy to be there and happy to help whenever we asked-going above and beyond in everything!

Jacuzzi pool was not not, just lukewarm, we were hoping for a nice hit soak after a long day on our feet, it was only warmish-we were quite disappointed.

The staff was amazing! Really kind and knowledgeable people. The breakfast was awesome.

The room was kind of dark , especially the bathroom.

Beautiful and elegant property. We liked the room, which was clean, spacious and well equipped. The hotel overall offers well curated spaces, in a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. The staff at the hotel made our stay enjoyable, everyone was kind, attentive, always helpful.

No direct access to the spa / indoor swimming pool from the main building

Excellent boutique hotel, staff very attentive, excellent food and comfortable room.

It’s quite a climb from the river front for those why struggle for fitness.

There was nothing I could fault

Where to start? The hotel is wonderfully located to all the major sites & with a magical view of the river, the facilities are extremely comfortable & the food is delicious. The staff are so friendly & take great care of you (shout out the bar man who introduced me to Green wine). Staying here was like a lovely dream & added to the joy of visiting Porto. If you can afford to stay here- please do, you won’t regret it!

Great layout, beautiful views

Room was lovely, bed comfortable and the view over the river was great. Housekeeping was great. Breakfast was excellent and we loved the outside views, selection available and how beautifully the lady on the egg counter made the eggs benedict and omelettes - i.e. not overcooked. The bar toasted sandwich was great value, All the staff were great and so helpful and welcoming. Welcome tour of hotel and room were excellent. They also gave good recommendations when asked. When I hurt myself in Porto they were so caring when I got back to the hotel, cleaning and dressing my arm and bringing ice packs for my head. Everyone was so kind - of particular mention were Tiago, Inês and Paulo. We would definitely come again.

Apart from the wonderful breakfast buffer, the ceasar sald and toasted sandwich in the bar we were unattracted by the restaurant menu which seemed limited, not much of our taste and a bit overpriced. The typesize in the room guide was so small it was difficult to read but you only had to ask staff at reception and they were very helpful. The TV controls didn't work very well and the TV instructions on the initial screen appeared in German, the system was slow to change, the account information screen showed transactions from previous guest.

The hotel is so beautiful, the art, the decor and the facilities are so unique.

À 5 star hotel and restaurant at a 3 star cost..! Great location, excellent room (each one is different with a theme based on local artists), incredible restaurant.. And I imagine that it is even more beautiful in summer, with the pools, external jacuzzi..

Great location slightly out of centre so it was quiet and peaceful. Staff here are amazing - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Room was amazing and food in the hotel was great - especially the breakfast which was extensive, great choice and amazing quality. Lovely bar with amazing local wines. Incredible overall.

This was the first hotel that I was sad to check out of. It is amazing! The staff are the best I’ve experienced, the room was a dream. The food was delicious. It was great value. The spa was lovely.
