Hotel Torel Avantgarde, Porto

Staff were amazing and very accommodating. Our room was very small but we are quickly moved to a bigger room immediately. Breakfast options and restaurant was wonderful. Pool are was nice.

The fact you have to walk through the restaurant to get to the pool (in swimwear / robes) isn't ideal. The outside gate was locked most of the time. Lighting in the room could have been a bit better, lamps next to the bed weren't ideal for reading etc.

The hotel was in a great location, lovely outside space and delicious breakfast, the concierge were absolutely superb, making great recommendations and booking dinner and excursions for us

Pool was in shade from mid afternoon and sunbed area a bit small. There was some more beds in the garden area which had some sun for a while longer. They were trying to create a nice style but a bit more light available in the bathroom and wardrobe areas would have been helpful

Everything was fantastic. The view, the design of the hotel, bravo! An incredible spa with a jacuzzi overlooking the city panorama. This is the best service in my life, every detail was noticed. It was my husband's birthday, so they brought him a cake with a candle in the morning for breakfast, and they also put water in the car when we left. Thank you for the incredible experience.

The location is perfect, with a charming courtyard overlooking Porto and providing a stunning view of the city. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful! The breakfast menu and the spa facilities are great.

The water in the internal heated "jacuzzi" pool was sadly quite dirty, so we could not use it at all.

A wonderful hotel, we really felt as though we were treated with care and attention. It was our honeymoon and we were definitely spoiled!

The entire team was absolutely fabulous and extremely helpful. The service was outstanding and we were treated with an amazing room upgrade. This hotel is absolutely amazing on all fronts and i highly recommend it to anyone staying in Porto. We'll be back for sure!

Location is a little bit out of the way but only by 10 minutes on foot, not a disaster.

The hotel is beautiful, with its charm, conveniently located, beautiful view of the river. The breakfasts are just great - delicious and varied! The hotel staff left a very good impression - they are always ready to help, surrounded by care and attention. Very comfortable. I would like to go back there again. I definitely recommend it for a stay in the city. It is not located in the very center, but everything is very close. But there is no noise of the city, and there are views and a pool with a view

This is a gem of a hotel and in a perfect location to explore the beautiful city of Porto. The staff were so friendly and helpful especially Sofia on reception. Excellent breakfast too. We will definitely be back!

Most beautiful Hotel in Porto, pure Design, we got free Upgrade to the Mozart Suite with free chocolate and Sparkling Wine, direct dream view towards the Dhouro with huge bath tub with Dhouro view. Such a kind Team. EXCELLENT breakfest 5 Stars well deserved. Very quiet and super comfortable bed

The staff. I didn’t just like this aspect, but we all loved their friendliness and excellence in looking after all their guests.
