Mouco Hotel, Porto

Loved the overall vibe of the hotel, very nice look and feel and very comfortable. It was at a good walking distance from the center so we walked a lot. Staff was always super friendly and the room was nice, too :)

Super friendly staff, nice bar with good selection of bar food. Easy trip with Uber or public transport to the main sights.

Not much but it would have been nicer for us as a group if the bar would stay open a bit longer :-).

The lighting in the room is a bit complicated and either too much or not enough. Also, if you dont like concrete like finishings, it can be a bit annoying that walls, ceilings and floors are grey color

The architecture design is so beautiful, the pool is a great addition and the room is very comfortable. The whole idea of the hotel is very innovative. 100% recommended

The prices of the bar a little expensive.

Amazing hotel, the design and style was very beautiful and cool. The pool was small but nice and had a nice little grassy area around it to chill in. The vinyl library was really cool and the drinks and food in the bar was great and a good price. A short walk from town or a couple euro in a taxi.

The shower door didn’t close properly but other than that it was perfect

Perfect contemporary hotel, service was exceptional, great facilities (pool, bar/restaurant), personalised choice for music (vinyls). With some rooms with with kitchenettes, it’s perfect for families. Architecture, interior design, the gardens and the clam atmosphere makes the whole experience very pleasant and relaxing. We had a great rest!

The breakfast has somewhat limited choice for food (no smoked salmon, and scrambled eggs were somewhat lacking!), we had to change rooms as there was a strange smell in the bathroom - however staff were very swift to help us, and moved us to another room which was perfect. The area hotel is in is close enough to walk to the centre, or take an inexpensive taxi. However, the streets nearby are slightly unpleasant (we did not experience any issues, but we were always walking the four of us)

The concept is absolutely brilliant, and the style is awesome. I absolutely loved the ability to check out records to take to my room. The staff were super nice and helpful

The climate controls were a bit overly sophisticated (complicated) for their own good, but no worries. Just takes a minute to get going

The hotel has a modern architectural style, with nice little perks, as natural materials (wood, leather, stone). Rooms are very large and well air-conditioned. Little garden is fabulous! Swimming pool is small but comfy. Hotel restaurant has nice variety of meals including vegetarian ones. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Location is not great. Bathrooms are not well designed - simple lack of towels hooks and furniture.

Wow. The architecture is not like any other hotel. The artistic vibe is palpable. Great bar, nice pool overlooking Porto. Listening to Al Green and John Coltrain on my in room record player was wonderful.

A full length mirror in the room, inside the wardrobe perhaps to keep the beautiful style of the room. Also appreciate that lovely coffee is available from the bar but not in the room and sometimes you need a coffee before you face the world!

I really loved the music-related concept. Such a cool experience. All the staff I met were super kind and friendly. (They tried to write my name in my language on the key cover, which was so sweet.) The minimalistic design is also beautiful.

Like other people mentioned, it would be much nicer if there were a wider range of music and records. Also, I think there should be more shelves or a hook in the bathroom. Kind of embarrassed at first because there was nowhere to put my clothes to change.

The rooms were big, the space and architecture was beautiful, and the concept of the record player is great!

The bar needs to be more efficient and have attention to detail. We waited too much for a cup of coffee and tea, and one of the cups was cracked and the other was dirty.

Paying extra for parking in a garage with very narrow ramps and without direct access to the hotel. Our sound system wasn’t working properly 😞

This hotel is really aesthetic. The concept is well realized. When you stay there, you don't wanna leave. The pool area is great, you can order a drink at the bar/restaurant and chill outside. There is great music everywhere, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. I really loved staying there.

The room itself was a bit dark.
