Hotel JAM, Porto

The hotel is an architecture lover’s dream! Beautiful, clean and with all necessary amenities, like the pool!

The location seemed ideal, next to campanha train station but it was quite far from restaurants, bars etc. It would have been nice if the bar would offer a dinner option.

Breakfast was very good. There was also a very relaxed atmosphere and reception very helpful. Overall facilities were also very good.

The neighbourhood is excellent for links to main train station, but slightly off-centre from main attractions (though well connected).

Great space itself, nice placement of a hall and other parts of the building (kinda artsy). The room was comfortable, clean, and beautiful. The rooftop pool is always a plus and the one here was no different - a perfect spot to chill and relax.

The humidity in our room was higher than average and even the fan couldn't help it. Maybe another standing fan for more airflow would be a nice addition. But it wasn't scary high or anything like that.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Gentleman in the restaurant made me coffee every morning! The rooms are minimalist but have absolutely everything you need. Laundry facilities are great after many days of travelling. The outside spaces are plentiful and really nice. The hotel is very peaceful and extremely clean. Great location to use public transit.

Great property, great location, access to pool and bar and breakfast, minimalistic vibe executed perfectly.
We really enjoyed the stay, about a 20-30 min walk into town but we loved walking through the beautiful streets.
The pool was great for when the weather was too hot to walk into town, we just relaxed and tanned and swam by the pool.

Nothing to complain about!!! Bit of construction out on the road but nothing major. Really no complaints. It was peaceful and relaxing.

The infrastructure is very good and designed in a minimalist and modern style. There is a beautiful rooftop pool where you can relax and enjoy the tranquility.

Stayed there for three nights. Very spacious room, clearly built for people who are staying there for longer. Everything worked well.
Very stylish hotel, lots of wood and concrete, had a turntable in my room which gave it a nice retro feel. I was facing the courtyard, which meant I could also leave my window open overnight for some fresh air. Very comfortable bed.

The shower could've done with a little bit more pressure, but nothing to negatively affect my stay. Breakfast was ok, but nothing to write home about.

The room was a good size as was the bathroom. We didn't look for anything else as everything was provided (fridge, safe, tv, desk, etc.). Staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Event space was excellent - sound was amazing.

Just 10 mins walk to the excellent metro service of Porto.

It's residential around the area and there were quite a few groups hanging around on corners so be vigilant/alert.

The balcony was of little value - there was only a single chair and the space was small and not that inviting. The balcony overlooked the entrance courtyard where people came/went with some occasional noise. Worse was people smoking in the area that meant the balcony door had to be closed.

Location and value for money

No where to hang towels or put toiletries in the bathroom.

The location was a good compromise with being near the train station and the major site in the city. The breakfast and bar were adequate. The room was large and well-appointed for a short or long-term stay. The hotel is designed for month-long stays but also worked well for us.

The bed was on a platform that made it difficult to get into or out of the bed.,

Very cool hotel with contemporary design. I liked it a lot. Ver convenient when leaving or arriving by train.

Beds on ground floor rooms are too low (003). Bed linen 50% Polyester is a no go!
Vanity unit is too high.

The hotel is a gem in the middle of a residential area.

The interior is very nice and modern, with a great green courtyard where you can also have breakfast when the weather is nice.

The rooms are very large and equipped with a small kitchen. The beds are very comfortable.

During our stay, the building adjacent to the hotel was being demolished with excavators. The noise was very loud during the day. This is not the hotel's fault, we can't fault the hotel at all and would definitely come here again when we are in Porto.

Great stay, well thought out design, lovely vibe. Very friendly welcome, nice bar, great work spots, pool area looked nice (too rainy for swimming for me!) Would highly recommend and will stay again.

Bed a bit hard, didn’t love the walk up from the station when I arrived late at night. But nothing that would stop me staying again :)

It is absolutely amazing place to stay in Porto. Amazing room, super quiet and big! 0 sound! To sleep deeply! Very welcoming and supportive staff. I would come back defenetly. 100% recommended!!!!!

The hotel is fantastic and the decor is cool with just the right amount of quirky. The amenities are great, the music and book library especially. I was very grateful for the laundry room to dry my sodden clothes after I got caught in a thunderstorm. The breakfast is lovely and the coffee is delicious but it's the staff that make all the difference, reception , kitchen, housekeeping everyone I met was Friendly and Helpful, Michel organised a breakfast bag for me when my tour time was brought forward. Nothing is too much trouble and I was made to feel very much at home. The location is perfect for exploring.

Nice breakfast. Good selection of everything. Fruits, protein and bread, juice, and coffee/tea. Close to public transport. One can easily walk into the city center. Good price/service ratio.

The kitchenette could have needed a kitchen towel. Not very sound proof for a relatively new building. One could hear people arriving and leaving at night.

The breakfast was fine. The location is not in the center of Porto but it was very cheap to use Uber. There are a lot of very nice and cheap little shops and good and cheap restaurants around the hotel. We used the pool 3 times. Very nice!

When we arrived at 21:00 in the evening our room was occupied by someone else. We had a very small room for the first night but got a nice room the next day.

We only had breakfast one and it was very good.

We thought the corridors vas quite raw.
