It was our anniversary and the hotel and staff went out of their way to make us feel special, from the welcome at check-in to some decorations in the room, the dipped strawberries delivered to our room, and the special treat the breakfast staff brought over. It made our stay memorable.

The front desk and restaurant staff was very helpful and pleasant to interact with. The view from our room (2112) was fantastic, our dog loved looking out and watching everyone too! The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and we loved the "Pet in Room" sign for the door! It was a thoughtful addition and made us feel welcome with our dog.

The housekeeping staff was not particularly friendly. When we asked for a refresh of coffee and sugars/ cream, the house keeper at the time seemed a bit annoyed at the request but we thanked her for helping us, of course. We also requested a second robe and slippers as we wanted to use the pool. The front desk staff was friendly, but the staff member who brought up the items just handed them to us at the door and walked away. It was just a weird interaction.

The location was excellent. A short walk from all of the touristy things we wanted to do. Clean and comfortable room. Easy parking.

The location can't be better, right in the heart of downtown, walking distance to almost everywhere. The view from my room was breathtaking. Friendly and helpful staff, fantastic breakfast, one of the best in very long time. Large, comfortable rooms, great beds, ample bathroom. Parking right in the hotel was a great plus.

Trying to recall something but likely nothing to complain about.

My husband and I both loved the breakfast buffet and the bed was very comfortable to sleep on. We had Rashid as our waiter while we stayed there and he was very friendly and made our stay extra special

Requested Parliament View and what a view it was, thank you. We were there for our wedding night in 1984. A lot of upgrades made since then, thank you. Loved the bathroom. And you elevators - very interesting. Haven't seen anything like it. And very smooth.

There wasn't milk or cream available for coffee. No shower cap. Need longer/bigger towels - and more.

It was at a convenient location downtown. We liked that we could just leave our vehicles parked and just walk to see a lot of things near by.

The location was great and having access to the mall was great.

Not necessarily anything directly about property but more so the area , we’ve found it has so many homeless and drug out street people since our last visit , sadly it made us somewhat uncomfortable.

Location was amazing, we could see the parliament and Fairmont Chateau from our room. Breakfast was delicious. We'll visit again soon in winter time.

Getting into the property was confusing and parking you need to drive into the entrance and down the ramp To parking. If you miss the entrance you’ll need to drive all the way around the block.

The location was perfect, easy walk to market, parliament and canal. The tulip festival was breathtaking and I would highly recommend it

- The location was great, right within the shopping centre with easy access to the train stations and metro. - Fantastic size to the rooms (we were a group and occupied a couple) and views from the room were brilliant too. - Staff was great and always happy to help. Be sure to tip for anything you ask for. - Excellent fitness area within the hotel. - The beds were very comfortable and other small touches like the USB connecting station, the hairdryer, the fridge, safe etc and other complementary items made our stay more enjoyable.

- Although there is a pool, it is very small for the size of the hotel. - The SPA treatments offered seemed too expensive to consider. - The breakfast at Daly's was a buffet but was nothing great for the price paid BUT with a food court, dining outlets and grocery store just downstairs this was not a big deal. - In our room the hairdryer looked tired and needed replacing.

The Westin Team were responsive to our needs and were professional throughout our stay. Exceptional team, all are to be congratulated. We were celebratin 2 birthdays and given the wonderful reception and experience we decided to make the Westin part of our bi-annual tradition for get togethers.

We had a room with two double beds but only one easy chair Our room was on the 23rd floor with glass wondows floor to ceiling We would have liked to be able to sit snd enjoy the view We needed an additional chair! Also, the watersaver toilet did not flush thoroughly!!!

Pool water was cold. Room could be cleaner. Sheets didn’t fell fresh, pillows were so so. Didn’t feel my car was safe on parking lot.

The room, the fact that it is connected to a mall and I like the breakfast and the friendliness of the people there. In a previous trip I also ate in your fine dining and had a good experience.

When I checked out it was very early in the morning. I think 4 am or something like that and the receptionist who handled my checkout got all the details of what I wanted in my invoice/receipt wrong so I left her the details and my calling card to just email me the correct one as my Uber had already arrived. I never got that email. Also, she told me that the debit card reader wouldn't work when somebody intervened it suddenly worked. I found that strange.

The location can’t be beat. Lots to do within walking distance. Our room was lovely—amazing view of the city from 20th floor, comfy bed and pillows, nice TV, and the BEST shower ever. Temperature, pressure, rain-type fixture! The pool and hot tub are great, and there is a nice fitness center. We absolutely loved the breakfast buffet too. Plenty to eat for both of us—I am mostly vegan, so most breakfast buffets leave me hungry, but not this one. The staff was friendly and helpful. The access to the Rideau Centre was convenient and a nice addition to an already convenient and enjoyable hotel experience.

The elevator system is being revamped and still needs so fine-tuning. Other than that, we loved it.

The location could not be better: within walking distance of Shaw Centre, Parliament Hill, and CF Rideau shopping center. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and offered a magnificent view of the city through its large window.

I hate the lifts/elevators, it’s the worst system I’ve ever come across in a hotel. We spent ages trying to go up and down. It didn’t help that there are no stairs available after the 4th floor. This is my only complaint and it was shared by quite a few other hotel patrons we were stuck with trying to go up or down.

Loved the hotel and its location. The front desk staff were amazing. Head and shoulders over my experience at other hotels. It really makes a difference!!!when your tired and need some guidance.

Elevators were confusing.The direction is not clear how to summons the elevator. We noticed another elderly couple confused as well. A friendly staff member seen us struggling and helped us out and explained.

We were offered reduced housekeeping which we accepted but they only attend on 2 occasions over a 9 day stay, I wouldn’t agree to that in the future. Alternate days would be better

Pool area is getting tired. Desk staff was more polite to me than to my wife.

Convenient, good food, great bar. Housekeeping - not so much. Had to specifically request each service and one day there was no housekeeping at all!
