The hotel is very clean. The location is great, and the stuff is very helpful. We forgot something in the room, they kept it for us. Loved every thing there. We will definitely come again!

The front desk staff Mika served me. She was polite and friendly. She fulfilled my needs quickly. The view from the rooftop is amazing, and there was also a free glass of wine that came with my stay. The location was hard to beat. Close to restaurants and tourism spots.

There was a construction site next to the hotel building so you may hear some noise during the day.

The suite had the most incredible view ! The only thing I would like to mention is that it would be nice to have a microwave or some Elements in the suite kitchen. But honestly wow !

The breakfast was nice but couldn’t truly accommodate a real gluten free experience. Also they have no electric car parking on site.

It is a stylish, modern, well-located, clean and safe hotel with helpful staff, a good-size room, a comfy bed and a good hot shower.

The problem is there is no coffee machine at the room, to be honest this is -2 point for me. There are couple machines at the enterance but the quality of coffee omg disaster sorry guys, I love the hotel but the coffee machines looks so dirty and the coffee was like water.

The staff was wonderful and very helpful. And the rooms were beautiful. We also loved the rooftop.

The service, from the moment we checked-in to the moment we left, was truly exceptional! At reception, valet, rooftop, breakfast: lovely, pleasant, and professional staff.

We had a corner room facing the Market so it was a great view. I'd stay here again for location and service - both topnotch. Obviously the construction portion of the view wasn't great, but what can you do?!?

The room decor looks more like a travel lodge or motor hotel type-furniture - quite cheap considering the luxury price of the hotel. At the same time, the furniture is relatively new and does the trick. The bed has got a rise in the middle, and dips down on either side, but its really comfy.

Friendly staff

We experienced a water leakage in the bathroom of our initial room, and the hotel promptly moved us to a similar one, which we appreciated. However, in the new room, the shower water was extremely hot and difficult to adjust, making it uncomfortable to use. We hope this can be addressed to improve future guests’ experience

The staff and service were tops, the breakfast was excellent and most definitely recommended!

The rooftop view was fantastic. The staff was friendly and always helpful. Ryan at the front desk was very kind, helpful and friendly. The restaurant staff were all great. The linens were nice and white, towels thick and bedding was comfortable and very clean. Christophe and Andrew, valets were great. The breakfasts in the restaurant were really good, however I would suggest giving two slices of toast instead of one. Seems a little stingy with only one. It was a good hotel once we got used to things and got everything we needed.

We rarely saw housekeeping around. On our second day they never came to clean our room. I had asked for our towels to be changed daily, the bed usually gets made, and a little cleaning of the bathroom is what we expected. We did speak to the front desk about this. It was somewhat rectified. Only once did they come in the morning which is what we asked for as we were usually out for the day. They came a few times late afternoon which was when we were just back and wanted to shower again and rest before dinner. Therefore housekeeping needs to be improved. Also we had to ask for slippers, no robes in rooms which were shown on the website. It seemed we had to ask for a lot of items such as firm pillows, extra towels, face cloths, toilet paper, safety mat for the shower. The mattress was excellent, the pillows were way too soft for us. There was not enough storage space for clothes, only a few very shallow drawers. However the closet was large and we used the shelves. We had to put our luggage on the bench across the room and used them for some storage.The room and bathroom was much smaller then expected, however once we got used to things we were fine. I think it's a good hotel, they are lacking a concierge though which as a downtown hotel I feel this is important. Also we had to unload our own luggage and I would have expected more help in that area for a Hyatt. Room for improvement in the front lobby services. Also front desk area is very small, poorly designed. I feel all of these factors can be fixed and it would better match the Hyatt standard.

Had to keep circling the block to wait for a space to open up to get a valet.

Hotel was in a great place for sightseeing. Helpful staff, made the nightmare of parking relatively stress free with their valet system. Rooftop bar great place for a drink and some light food, again staff very helpful. Room was comfortable and well equipped with what we needed for a one night stay.

My go to, have stayed over 20 bookings.. will go again

I was a bit disappointed to see that I paid extra for a room with a view and it was not facing parliament hill like the photos as I expected. Rather it was facing the other way with just construction

Loved the luxury feel to the room, loved the gym facility, love the location. Love the wine voucher. Staff was great and friendly . I’ll be coming back for another writing retreat.

It was a bummer finding stains on the mattress, but I appreciated that when I called front desk to report the possible hygiene, maybe Pest Control issue staff didn’t hesitate. Immediately switched our rooms to a different floor. Love the speedy response.

Location is really central and the hotel is very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful!! Mini bar snacks are included.

Everything! The location can’t be beat. I liked getting the coupon for the free drink. I loved the rooftop lounge, the service in the lounge and at reception were very nice. The beds were fantastic! And thank you for having good normal pillows. I fell asleep and I don’t even remember, and I don’t remember waking up in the middle of the night!

The food in the lounge was, a little in my opinion, overpriced, but you’re also paying for that view. I also didn’t care much for my service that I received at breakfast. He wasn’t rude, but he wasn’t with it. But that’s it!

Location was great, lots of bars and restaurants in the market. The room was quite big. The rooftop was literally amazing.

Very noisy (Construction during the day). Not much in the mini bar. No chocolate, not enough drinks, no candy or other snacks.

It’s not as luxurious as it may seem on photos. Restaurant didn’t work because of construction and low occupancy of the hotel.

It was my daughter and her best friend’s birthdays! The team at Andaz could not have treated us any better. Truly an amazing experience! This team definitely knows hospitality!!

Location can't be beat.

They did warn about construction and provided ear plugs. However if you're a light sleeper nothing can drown out a pneumatic drill. Mercifully the noise didn't start till 9am. Food options are also limited (especially on a Monday if you arrive late) however many options are within a 2 min walk radius.
