The bed was soft

Bed was so comfy. Location great & close to everything. Quiet & peaceful at night. Good to have a fan for night. Windows opened for fresh air during the day when in room. The breakfast was really good. Great selections. All staff friendly & helpful.

I thought for the price there would be tissues, slippers (maybe a robe). I booked with breakfast & dinner included. The dinner service wasn't available. No airconditioning; woul be too hot for me in warmer months.

Small Rooms / Bathroom.

We were very well taken care of by a friendly and customer-focused staff who helped us with walking and transportation questions and proposed sightseeing options. The hotel’s location was great for strolling down to downtown sights. Being allowed to park free of charge under roof at Saga Apartments was an added bonus that was very appreciated. All in all, a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was awesome, too!

Our shower soap dispenser was almost empty but was quickly refilled when we asked. No big deal — good housekeeping service!

Great place just off the main roads to allow easy access to all the public transport and restaurants. Breakfast was wonderful with an array to meet anyone's tastebuds. Smoothies were really good.

Shower was a bit small for bigger bodies.

Room door didn’t lock from outside unless you swiped key against it after closing. Room looked out on garbage cans and back alley.

Wonderful room. Liked that multiple adults could share the same room when you are traveling with friends. Wonderful feel to the hotel. I liked the location on a slightly different part of the city. We arrived via train to Oslo, then took the metro and a tram to arrive within just a 100 meters or so of the hotel. Staff very nice upon check in. I would stay there again.

The staff was very friendly, always trying to help. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good with lots of options even for vegans or persons with allergies.

The room was very comfortable (loved the fluffy comforter especially) and overall the hotel felt very welcoming. The breakfast varied a little every day but was consistently delicious and fresh.

The breakfast room is in the basement so it felt quite warm and not well ventilated at busy times. The walk to the location is a bit of a trek but the area is beautiful so in the end I didn't mind it at all.

Me and my wife stayed for one night. The stuff super friendly and helpful. In the morning we had a very nice breakfast. Definitely will return to this hotel

The style of the hotel is nice. Feels like a boutique hotel and has its unique style. We really enjoyed the breakfast and how attentive the breakfast staff were. They are always making sure things are topped up and fresh.

The person in reception at check-in was a little cold and seemed busy with something else. It is a very small thing, but this was our first impression so it sticks. For the rest of our stay, the staff greeted us with a smile. There was loud music outside until early hours of Sunday. But I suppose that is not the hotels fault, but rather the neighbours.

Well located not far from the metro and in a quiet neighborhood. Tall ceilings, great bed, beautiful appointments. Great breakfast. Close to restaurants and shops.

The hotel is nice and felt very calm when I was there, which was lovely and relaxing. The staff is great, always at hand and friendly.

Breakfast was amazing and highly recommended. Communication, Check-In and Check-Out were easy. location is close to town and you have places to eat nearby. Highly recommended to those looking for a great breakfast and start to the day. The rooms were exactly as marketed on the website. Staff was also really nice as well.

Lack of ventilation... we could open windows but had to have heavy drapes drawn due to short nights. The double bed was pushed against the wall. We had to drag it away from the wall for me to go to bed properly. Lighting in the room was poor.... needed a table or pole lamp.

Lovely and quiet area. Beautiful buildings. I ordered breakfast to my room and it was a feast to be savored. Nice design throughout the hotel. My room had a balcony!

A bit noisy in the evening from the seating just outside the hotel entrance, as I had my room just above it, and it wasn’t entirely sound proofed. A tiny leak in the bathroom floor caused it to be permanently wet in one small spot. No big issue but still a bit annoying. I was told there would be a telephone in my room to call for room service, but there was no phone. The mattress slanted a bit due to lack of firmness and because people had been sitting on its edge. No restaurant on the property.

Limited parking

Location was excellent. Quite area. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was cooperative. Rooms were slightly small but that is to be expected from hotel rooms. The hotel is in a very good, higher end neighborhood. It’s not in the down town area. Walking distance is a beautiful park both in the south and in the north. The tram station is like 5-6 minutes away. Overall a really good experience.

May be slightly small rooms but I don’t consider that an issue. I don’t think other hotel rooms would be any bigger.

Quiet neighborhood, rooms with windows that fully open and have an at home feel, plenty of space, terrific shower and spacious bathroom, hard wood floors, comfy beds, immaculately clean.

The website says free parking, but that is truly limited. If the spots are taken by other guests you are paying for street parking to be nearby or a lot that is cheaper, but father away. Street parking is free after 8pm until 9am.

Wonderful hotel, tram nearby with excellent connection to central train station. Very quiet, very comfortable bed, lovely and helpful staff, delicious and varied breakfast. Great espresso bar near reception, very good value for money

Bathroom a bit small, breakfast room in basement

The location is about a 20-30 min walk from the centre, but we knew this and we booked this on purpose, as I had read that Oslo city centre can be quite noisy in the evenings especially at the weekends and as our trip was over a Thursday / Friday / Saturday night stay, this is the reason we opted for this hotel. If you don't want to walk, there is a very good tram system to use to get around. The hotel was good, had a nice boutique feel to it and the breakfast was excellent with a large selection of very good quality items!

Nothing really - the rooms are slightly on the small size, but not horrendous. Despite booking a deluxe room the bathroom was tiny.

Our room was extremely small. The bathroom was a joke. I couldn’t wash my feet in the shower because it was so small I couldn’t move. This room is for 2 persons not acceptable.

My room had a bit window that could cancel out daylight, but beneath it, there was a small window that let in much of the light. The window is right in front of the bed, so it very much goes straight to your face. A bit annoying when the daylight starts early in the summertime.

The hotel is in a quiet and beautiful part of Oslo near the palace, about 5 min. walk to the stop of tram number 11 which will take you to the very center and the opera house, it is very convenient! The hotel is stylish and beautifully done.

The parking lot in front of the hotel itself is tiny for 8 cars and if you have a car there may not be a free space. We parked a 5-minute walk away in the apartment complex next to the hotel, but we were lucky that there was a free space there, otherwise this could have been a slight problem.

Everything! The staff lovely. Really lovely quiet room with blackout curtains….the only hotel in two weeks. Excellent breakfast. Easy access to Oslo on the tram even though the hotel is a little bit. Out of the centre.

The location was fantastic. It was 5 minutes from a major shopping street with plenty of restaurants and cafes. The staff were excellent at making recommendations and helpful planning tourist outings. It was also 5 minutes walk from the sculpture park and 5 minutes from the Palace.

The walls were very thin and you could hear a lot of noise. The WiFi was unsecured.
