very cool art deco style building, nice to have restaurant on the property

room was very cold, which would have been great but weather was cold too. inside was dated and needs upgrading, especially the bathroom

Loved the decor/style of the apartment it has a very retro-feel! Room was cozy and fully stocked with amenities.

Wish they had regular cable tv, it was complicated to figure out that I needed Chromecast in order to see anything.

The check in was flexible but We booked for 4 and there was only 1 double bed. No pillows or blanket to be found so we had a horrible night and staff was not around. Even after a phone call they didn't do anything. It was a rainy cold night so that was our luck

Not very clean and lack of bedding made our stay not very pleasant, also there is a party venue right next door so we had a wedding till late

Couldn’t access the thermostat which was sent to 72degrees. Our room got very warm even at night. There was a huge water puddle in the bathroom.

I liked the aesthetic and cleanliness of the room which I thought was good for the price. I also liked how easy it was to check in, but that felt a little too easy.

I didn't like that there wasn't a proper front desk area. I also had issues with getting the shower to run hot water which was never resolved, unfortunately. Also, the door was difficult to close all the way so it would lock which felt unsafe.

My room lost power in the middle of the night and navigating the changing rooms was not pleasant. First room I got assigned was not as good as the second one. House rooms are not very nice. Second room in the pink property are better

It was such a cute and calm property. Loved the courtyard setup. Very close to all the downtown fun.

Simple and cute room. Cute outdoor area near the restaurant. Parking was easy. We wanted to love this place.

unfortunately we were in a room with no hot/warm water. The bed was so stiff it felt like we were sleeping on the floor. We tried the couch bed and it was worse. Homeless people have taken over the lake and sleep under the bridge that leads to the lake. We wanted to walk around the lake but we were run off by a homeless man. There was trash under the bridge and all around the lake.

I loved the historical aspect to it. I really enjoy staying off the offbeat path and this gave me everything I wanted!

Well, I had a bug problem (bees) which is incredibly rare, but they took care of the problem straight away and couldn’t have been any more accommodating.

The room had a bed, a bathroom and a coffee pot. That's the only good part of the room.

The tv was difficult to use. We ended up just casting from our phone from our own app. The cups they provided for coffee were really dirty. There was no heat and it was very cold. When we reached out to the staff about the heat we got no response.

I liked that it was an apartment and not just a studio room. It was very clean and comfortable.

Perfect location

Everything is automated, access is very quick, as there is no front desk on site.

Since there is no receptionist, no on-site control, everyone can come and go freely, it is like a dormitory. Our room was right at the entrance and I woke up every time the door slammed.

Big, nicely furnished rooms. The bar/ restaurant is really great. Location is good.

No reception. Called the switchboard to book an early checkin and got the most unhelpful person. Told us they don’t do early checkins even though we’d confirmed with the cleaner that our room was ready. We later found out other guests were able to book an early checkin. We were also told we’d have to get a taxi to a self storage place to leave our bags as they didn’t have any place to store them.

It’s a beautiful historical house next to the lake. The room is amazing, old-style decorated as well as the entire building. I loved it! Also a good thing is the airport bus stop right there:)

No adapters for US charges and no usb. It was only one hotel during my stay in which I didn’t have these facilities.

Amazing place to stay !

On my first day there I needed an extra toiletry—they don’t have any staff onsite, but they do have a serious in the lobby with a sign that says “essential in case you run out.” I opened a few of the cabinets to find a bunch of chaotic messes. I could hardly sleep my first night as my room had a window directly over the bed that let light in from the lobby. There were no window treatments, but rather a lazy paint job over the glass (see photo) that didn’t do much to block the light. I messaged the staff via the app, which is the only way to get in touch, and asked if I could move rooms. They did move me the next day, but then I received an email with a fee for the room change. I was so surprised they didn’t notify guests before a charge like that. I messaged them again and they said that wasn’t their policy, so they waived the fee. My second room wasn’t much better. I found a large, rusty staple in the carpet next to my bed, a receipt from a previous guest on the floor, and pubic hair in the bathroom. I messaged them and they offered to clean again, which I accepted. My stay was Sunday-Wednesday, but their courtyard bar isn’t open on Sunday or Monday. I was very surprised on Tuesday night when they started playing extremely loud music in the courtyard at 5 pm. I then realized that’s why the rooms have ear plugs and sound machines, but neither can fully mask the noise—it is truly so loud. The music stopped at midnight, after which I had an early morning as I was here on a work trip. Look, I love a boutique hotel, but this was the absolute worst experience. It’s incredible to me that they continue to operate. Will never stay at a Sonder property again.

Wasn't provided with the room I booked, very cold in room, other ppls hair in the bathroom and instructions for tv wasn't with the other instructions at front door so we were confused about how that worked. Not happy with no in house staff, app communication was fine but I prefer a human.

Room was like a mini apartment, didn’t have to hunt for a hairdryer or anything. Everything was perfect.

The room was lovely. Really clean, comfortable. Easy check-in and key-less entry.

The security check still being sent after I left a week later!
