Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort, Orlando

This is our favorite hotel for a weekend getaway. We come every year!

We had a fabulous stay at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort. This hotel offered the best customer service I have ever had at any hotel. My family loved the pool area.

The self parking is a little way from the lobby. This is really only a problem in the middle of summer.

It had very beautiful views surrounding the hotel and had a few amenities that you could do. I would definitely stay again. The restaurants only property was really good. Had a lot of walking trails and got to see fireworks every night from the room that I stayed in.

There was a line every time you wanted to go up or go down on the elevators so there is a wait for that. The elevators are very small and with people having their luggage in you’re lucky if you can fit four people. and if you are at the pool, people do not clean up their towels, so you do not know if the chair is open or not. I wish the workers would go around and clean up the towels if nobody is sitting there.

Great location and great amenities

The hotel is very big this many guest. Waiting in line every time to get into the elevator was not optimal. Please if you can increase number of elevators. In addition have a friendly way to contact room service. The phone was not working and one had to text. For international hurts who do not have American SIM cards this was difficult.

This is the best hotel in Orlando. We have been three times at this resort. Everything from the lobby, grounds, room, restaurants and the pool. We love it, Highly recommend it. I wouldn;t stay anywhere else but Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress.

Beautiful landscape, three pools to choose from, there is lots to do at this place. This place is nothing but entertainment.

Pool was a bit merky and full of debris. Breakfast was great! Rooms questionable, as I am very allergic to cat and dog hair. I wish Hyatt Hotels had designated areas and rooms for dogs. I don't care to eat or sleep where dogs have been.

All the dogs and dog waste in and around the grounds.

While my stay was short, the staff starting with the valet,to Liv at check in to our great waiter at the Lakehouse restaurant, and all others we encountered will make it a long remembered wonderful stay!

Everything about this resort is great. So many things to do from the pool, slide, kayaking, peddle boats etc. so much to do here. Plus the four flamingos was amazing.

The lake house could use some work. We waited over an hour to get our food even somebody in our party had to wait almost 20 minutes to get a water and finally when she switched it to a T she received her tea within less than five seconds. The food at the lake house was subpar. I definitely don’t think we got our moneys worth there and it was quite expensive..

Excellent cleaning, impeccable breakfast with many options.

I have to warm up baby bottles at night and not having a microwave in the room is very uncomfortable for me. Parking is very far from the room which also made me very tired.

The time frame of the pool and the pool maybe needs a heater. Other than that it was perfect!

Breakfast was amazing, the pool and the restaurants were very nice, and the location truly convenient.

We surprised that our booking was canceled due to fully booked, although we didn't receive any notice regarding that. We have moved to spend a night in hotel till they find solution for our booking : actually it was bothering us especially we drove from Miami ( more than 4 hours)

The costs were exorbitant. $37/day to self park or $52/day for valet. The self parking is a long walk. The food and beverage costs were also very high

We had a great stay at this hotel. Pool was great, our kids used the water slide so many times, we loved walking around the property. The restaurants had great food, we had sushi, pool bar food, breakfast, and everything was great.

Everything! One of the best experiences ever! Amazing breakfast (huge thanks to staff during this time, so welcoming!), huge and beautiful area, lots of fun activities to do while resting between visiting parks, excellent wi-fi, Sixt right in the lobby, very convenient market with coffee and snacks.

Stayed at the Hyatt Regency with my family including my 2.5 year old daughter for our trip to Disney World. Room was a little small (only beds, no table or room for a sitting area) though the entire property was great - very clean and excellent staff who were available and so kind! Excellent location located only 5 mins from Starbucks and about 15/20 minutes from The Pointe, Orlando where many restaurants are located. 15 min drive to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Pros: incredibly friendly and warm staff, great massive pools with delicious lunch food and kids options, lots of do on-site when you need a down day from the parks like boating, rock climbing. Cons: we booked a crib with our reservation and it took us calling and asking the front desk several times to bring the crib up to our room, small-ish rooms, we had a lake-view room and faced a wedding which was pretty loud until around 10pm on Saturday night (as a family with a young child that had just spent a whirlwind 3 days at Disney, we went to bed at 8 every day so it was a little annoying).

Great hotel. Parrot Merlot made a welcoming environment even more special. Dinner was superb with Japanese cuisine and delicious desserts.

Room furniture and bathroom amenities would need some refreshing. Also, breakfast could have more choice.

Have come for years. We like that it is away from Disney. Good restaurants. Service staff is super good. I had to be hospitalized and your staff was supportive in every way.

I would have liked updated bedroom, it was outdated, nice hotel nice garden but the bedroom looked like a 3 star hotel. everything in the hotel was good and all activities good

We absolutely loved Tim and Merlot. He took time to talk to us a while and let us get pictures. We looked forward to seeing Merlot in the mornings on his perch. We also LOVED Brian, the bartender and the Lakehouse restaurant. We made it a point to buy all our drinks from him as we wandered the resort. He was super attentive, hilarious, very awesome. We Loved the bikes and paddle boats. We used both. And even though we only had 20 minutes till the bikes closed up, the gentleman let us go anyway. He could have said no. That was very cool of him and we made sure to be back on time for him. Wish we remembered his name. We LOVED the waterfall hot tub. It was fabulous. We genuinely completely enjoyed our stay. It was our first wedding anniversary and we haven’t stopped telling everyone all about it. We travel at least 2-3 times a year and this was one of the best stays.

I have zero complaints. Breakfast was a little overpriced and the eggs were a little.. wet. But honestly it wasn’t a big deal. It’s the only negative I could recall.
