Beautifully appointed, super comfortable, amazing views, quiet and amazing location.

Very nice bar and restaurant areas. Very relaxed welcoming vibe. Incredibly comfortable bed.

Bathroom space very tight. Little storage space

Stunning rooms and views. Bathroom was phenomenal, would go back just for that. Comfy bed but location wise was abit out of the hustle and bustle if that is what you want in NYC.

We were getting civilly married in Manhattan and chose the Ludlow for its location, in walking distance to City Hall and close to some of the best parts of the LES. The facilities were fantastic and the service impeccable: They upgraded our High Floor Queen to a Skybox Loft and gifted us a bottle of prosecco. The rooftop is also stunning - we were able to take photos up there after our City Hall appointment. We ordered room service twice and the food was delicious. I would definitely go to the restaurant next time. Katz's and Russ & Daughters are on the corner - perfect for breakfast!

Literally had a perfect stay. No notes.

The staff in reception were very welcome and accommodating. We were staying for 4 nights and found our first room was too small and asked to change to larger one for an extra charge of course. Rooms in NY aren’t that big but although the Ludlow is beautifully designed we felt the standard room to be way too small. Not really much room to unpack so we didn’t bother. Breakfast was good. We both like different things to eat so it’s important to have the variation. We found most of the staff to be very cheerful.

There were one or two of the staff in the restaurant that we felt were a little on the sullen side but it’s possible they stood out by comparison to the ones who cheerful.

Some very interesting types outside and especially in the evening which made going in and out of the hotel a bit sketchy

The front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. The double room--two separate rooms with a hallway in between, with the bathroom located in the hallway--was perfect for our family of four. The only issue with the room is that you walk right into the tight queen bedroom, but the king room is quite spacious with a sitting area. We will definitely stay here again.

Everything was superb. The room with the bathroom exceeded my expectations! The staff was very helpful. I loved that they provide free bath salts and bath bubbles.

Bed was comfortable. Service was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was missing a toothbrush and they happily provided a dental kit.

It would have been nice to have a way to fix tea in the room. I do understand why they didn't (the room was very small), but it meant that I couldn't have a cup of tea when I rose at 5:30 a.m.

Stayed for the second time for our wedding and we’re lucky enough to chat to the lady with the amazing blow dry at the front desk who helped us upgrade to the most amazing room I’ve ever stayed in. You truly made our trip and sorry your colleague took the flowers! My favourite Manhattan hotel that I’ll always return to! Nothing is too much to ask, all basic amenities covered and more

Perfect location for exploring the Lower East Side. Great shower/bath, ample space, and super comfy bed. Staff were welcoming and polite.

A minor point but the lifts/elevators can take a long time to arrive at your floor. Something to keep in mind if you're in a rush.

Our third visit to New York City and our third stay at the Ludlow do I need to say more? - The Location is a great starting point to explore NYC an feel the vibe of the Lower East Side. - The Staff is exceptional and always make us feel welcome and at home - The whole Hotel and also the Rooms have great design and are not your typical standard hotel flair - Balcony in NYC is always a Win ;)

It has the same NYC Issues that all Hotels in that Region have. Everything is rather small and of course it comes with a price.

Great hotel in the LES perfect for a few days’ stay in the big Apple. We loved how comfy the bed was and the shower was incredible. Amazing views both from the room and from the rooftop.

The room was fairly small. It is pricey but worth it for a special occasion.

I stayed at this hotel for my birthday and it was an unforgettable experience! The interior is beautiful, stylish, and thoughtfully designed, and the panoramic view of the city is simply breathtaking. There are so many pleasant little details that make the stay feel special, and the service is truly top-quality. The staff kindly allowed me a late check-out and surprised me with a lovely gift — champagne and sweets — which made my day even more memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, elegance, and a unique New York experience.

We enjoyed the general relaxed atmosphere of the hotel.

The street noise (4th floor) and the noise from the air conditioning were quite noticeable.

Everything was beyond expectation, it should definitely deserve a 10/10 on booking.com. I booked the room for my wife's birthday, and the front desk manager upgraded us to a suite on the 19th floor, with one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen. And a complimentary Prosecco bottle. EVERYTHING was perfect, thoughtful, beautiful, classy. I don't know how I can thank you more. Definitely recommend it!

The Hotel is beautiful and everyone is extremely nice.

There wasn't anyplace to put my toiletries bag, watch etc. I would minimize the merchandise to give clients more room. Also, a quilt would have been nice. The comforter was too hot.

Very charming, great location, very nice bar and lounge area. Beds were comfortable, nice towels, linens and bathrobes.

The bedside tables were too low and small. With the hotel phone on it there wasn’t room for much else.

The staff were exceptional at this hotel. It was my first time visiting New York and wanted to have a better view of the city, so after the first night they moved me to a higher floor which I was very appreciative of. The bed was super comfortable, facilities were really nice, and decor was generally very chic.

Great location as well as easy subway access. The room (sky loft) was excellent, fantastic views of manhattan from every room. Discovering the roof top area was a real bonus and a great surprise. The staff were excellent and very helpful.

The vibe, the people, the energy all perfect. Room was cosy, location was amazingly situated and the bed, could have slept there a lifetime.

Everything about our stay was perfection. The view from the Skybox Loft was incredible, the staff were warm and helpful, the lounge’s fireplace was a cozy refuge after long days spent wandering the city, and the location fit our needs perfectly. We 100% recommend the Ludlow!

Breakfast service at Dirty French was slow, the waiter even seemed irritated that we were there. We had to ask for butter, jam, salt, pepper and ketchup when our breakfast arrived and the drinks (matcha and chai) were not hot. The food tasted good, but was served lukewarm and service was lackluster. When we ordered room service, however, food was warm and delicious.

Friendly staff with very quick responses to extras for rooms. Close to subways and buses. Bar area well lit and great variety of small dishes and drinks. Would recommend normal rooms rather than spending more on the skyloft rooms - just go up to the roof top for free and great views of the area.

Skyloft room had a double bed and was poorly lit even when we asked for an extra lamp. We stayed one night in our son’s room with a king size bed in lower level - much better

Queen loft room with tub- was an incredible room, the staff were so hospitable, the rooms were clean, sound was so minimal. You can’t hear any rooms around you and hardly anything outside (apart from sirens which is expected). Location was perfect- explore the streets around here so many cute cafes, bars and boutiques. Wish there was a Ludlow in the other cities I’ve visited as I would stay with them again

Absolutely loved the Ludlow hotel. We chose to stay here as we were coming to New York to get married. We treated ourself to a sky loft room and wow it was totally worth it! The view was amazing, particularly when the sun come through in the mornings. The location was great, easy to get a bus or the subway or walk.. the location felt much more authentic New York, I would compare to Shoreditch in London. The room was kept clean, room service amazing and every day it was spotless with new fresh towels. The bed was comfy too! There was also a nice bar to hang out in the lobby, which did food and snacks and you could always get a spot there to sit. Finally the reception staff were great, they took my wedding flower delivery in for me and put it in my room and when we asked for a steamer they were straight up with it. I honestly had the best time staying here and can’t wait to come back again.

Brilliant location for exploring lower Manhattan and Brooklyn but also easy to get into Mid town, Central Park etc. Staff were very friendly and even though there were lots of people staying it felt so relaxed and we loved chilling out by the fire with drinks. The rooms were so comfortable and had everything you needed. Would love to go back.

Gorgeous hotel in a perfect location to explore lower Manhattan and Brooklyn. The room was really comfortable and very clean. Staff were pleasant. I didn’t eat at the restaurant but it looked nice.

Room service was outrageously expensive. I would think that if they reduced the price somewhat or didn’t charge both a delivery fee and 20% tip, more people would probably order. I certainly would have.

Perfect location on a bustling, very 'cool' street. The staff were incredibly attentive. We arrived very early in the morning and our room wasn't ready. The front desk staff offered us an alternative room for 1 night (which was a downgrade from the Skybox that we had booked) so we could check in there and then and get some sleep. The downgraded room was actually so lovely and had a larger bed than the skybox. In hindsight, we probably would have asked to keep the smaller room as it felt more comfortable. The skybox room was beautiful but the bed wasn't as big so we didn't sleep as well. Loved the hotel bar

We couldn't get the right temperature in our room. It was either far too hot or too cold. The air conditioning was incredibly loud and kept us up during the night. The bed size in the skybox was too small for us! The elevators could sometimes take forever

A small but beautiful room, super clean! I checked in very early with no issue at all, the reception staff were lovely, everyone made an effort to say hello whenever you saw them. Lovely soap, a brilliant mini bar selection and the hotel bar was great: highly recommended.

The only thing was storage in the room- it unusual in prime NY space; If you are there for a long period of time it might be annoying to have limited space to unpack and store cases.

This is probably a me issue but there was no shower door, only a half screen, therefore it was quite cold when showering due to a draft.
