Good location. Nice restaurant. Great water pressure.

Room size. Too small

The Skyloft room is speactular and has views in three directions. It's impossible to escape city noise even on a high floor, but the hotel itself was quiet.

It would have been nice to have full-length mirror somewhere other than the bathroom, and a conventional shower head would have been preferable to the rain shower.

Ceaser the bar man 😅 very helpful as a local guide in our very short trip, the decor is Beautful and all staff very helpful

The rooms are lovely and just as they appear in the photos. The shower is excellent and has really decent water pressure. Staff are very attentive and helpful, although service can be slow this fits with the very relaxed and welcoming vibe of The Lounge - there is no pressure to spend money on drinks if you are a hotel guest just looking for somewhere to sit and hang out. The only recommendation I would make is that the rooms lack a space or platform for your suitcase, which then becomes quite inconvenient as you have to constantly move and shuffle it around to get thing out, or to walk around it in the room.

The ambience was warm and inviting. The staff was amazingly kind and accomodating. We’ve been to NYC several times and The Ludlow set a new standard of excellence for us.

A beautiful hotel just of East Houston which is where I needed to be. The staff were wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. The open fire in the downstairs area gave it the feel of a private house. My room was cozy and comfortable, with a big size bathroom with bathtub. The restaurant did excellent breakfasts. I will always stay here when I come to NYC!

Great place, great location

The hotel's moody ambiance and eclectic design provide a unique New York experience. The Dirty French restaurant has great food, especially the buttermilk pancakes! The rooms are well-appointed, comfortable, and clean. Just off Houston at Ludlow Street, you are within walking distance to Little Italy, Chinatown, The Village, Soho, and more. Katz's Deli is on the corner, which adds to the drama of watching the line span for blocks at all hours of the day.

We booked two rooms with pullout beds, but this room type was not available at check-in. The following day, we switched rooms. Although inconvenient, the staff did what they could to accommodate our party.

One of the best hotels in NYC. Already looking forward to going back. Thank you for an amazing stay and the great staff.

The room was clean with a big shower and a lovely view. The location was great! Opposite Katz Deli and right near Clinton’s St bakery. It was close to a subway line too which made it easy to get around the city. The hotel decor and vibe was so cool, felt very trendy! We also have able to get late check too which made our last day more relaxed.

The room was quite small and there wasn’t much space to unpack our things. The side table was also covered in mini bars food & drink but this made the room feel smaller too. A couple of the staff in the bar were quite rude and blunt to us but the staff behind reception were very friendly and helpful.

I wish the room were a little bigger but I know that can't be helped. LOVED the gigantic bathtub, and I'll give up a big room for that! Also wish the subway were more accessible (although the staff was very helpful). Its a long way to get to Upper West, Upper East, musuems, most shopping, etc.

Bigger room. Actually, service in the "living room" area was slow, and some of the people working there did not seem very happy to be there, which was the direct opposite of the desk and door staff. It took so long to get a bill that one time I inadvertently walked out without paying (I paid later)!

Loved how clean it was, loved the people at front desk, manager was amazing, house keeping was so sweet and cleaned so well. Problem is the women that work for the restaurant they were very snarky and condescending. I would stay here every year I go but I hope the people working at the restaurant change their attitude

Service at the restaurant and lounge, specifically 4 women that were there were all so rude. At night at the restaurant 2 women were mean and rude I thought maybe it’s just that night. But 2 days later at the lounge different women working were also snarky.

Staff were super helpful and friendly. We really liked our room overlooking the city and hotel is located just around the corner from Katz Deli, Russ & Daughters and many other fab eateries and bars in Lower East Side. Booking a stay in NY if you are there for the first time can be daunting, so I recommend this property.

The room had a king size bed that was very cozy and comfortable. Found the staff to be very friendly and always helpful with restaurant recommendations and arranging for a car to the airport.

The dirty French is always good food and the front desk is always friendly and accommodating.

Not a luxurious hotel, but this is a busy boutique with lots of nice feature. The “sky box”, all windows room we had on the 16th floor was a great NYC experience. Nice public spaces, too. Good, fun restaurant and bar. And just 30 paces to Katz’s Delicatessen!

All good. Look, we are a bit new to the lower east side, so there was some learning of the neighborhood. But it was all good.

I’ve written too many reviews of The Ludlow before, I’ll keep this one snappy: it’s my favorite hotel in New York.

Nice stylish property - Great showers and large bathrooms

Room what not ergonomic - very crowded when we were there so that might have affected service - restaurant understaffed and slow. Elevators were slow, small and took forever to access.

The property was beautiful in a fantastic location and the staff was amazing.

The parking garage was expensive.

Gorgeous design. Very friendly staff. Lovely facilities. Gym on the roof has a brilliant view. Katz’s deli on the corner. Great restaurants in the street. Amazing neighbourhood. Nook with a toasty fireplace in the bar is reserved for in-house guests only which makes you feel at home.

The Ludlow really exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent for exploring Manhattan on foot, our room was fantastic with a great view, the bar was cosy and a lovely place to crash after a long day and all the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. We didn't manage to use the gym but it looked great and well equipped.

The air conditioner/fridge in our room were very noisy but this was a minor inconvenience in an otherwise very good stay.

My room was ideally adjacent to the elevator. The staff was solicitous and helpful. I liked the relaxing lounge area in the lobby and hotel location was convenient.

The inside door lock didn't work but was quickly repaired. The toilet was difficult to flush. The bed was very comfortable but the room was smaller than I'd expected or would've liked. And the lighting fixtures, while attractive, emitted insufficient light, not at all suitable for bedtime reading. The rate was okay and I would've been willing to pay more for a larger room if one had been available. However at another NYC in which I'd stayed previously, rates and amenities were similar but coffee/soda was served all day in the lobby/lounge area at no charge to guests + there was a free lite breakfast in the restaurant; and that is my favorite amenity!

We seemed to always wait a while to be able to get the lift to either come tot he lobby (which created a bit of a bottle neck) or to the room floor.
