Clean room, near station.
Good neighborhood and safe location, no homeless around. Direct metro line (A) from JFK airport to the 168th Street Station. Step free access station. One block away from metro station. Cleanest room I’ve ever seen in Newyork.
More than half an hour from Times Square.

A good choice for early appointment at nearby Columbia Presbyterian hospital
The hotel is very close to Columbia Presbyterian hospital, therefore it’s the best choice if you have surgery early in the morning. It’s clean and very quiet. Nice staff

Perfect location for a great nights rest!
Eric checked me in and was super helpful and efficient. Bonus as it was 10pm and I had a one year old with me. He was clearly and concise and made the check in effortless. I was pleased to see him at checked out also. And housekeeper Elizabeth was kind.
I will definitely stay again.
A vestibule by M101 bus which is handy and a minutes walk up Amsterdam.
There was thin black lines of mold on the shower cubicle ceiling in room 904 and in the crevices of the grouting which was a bit worrying.

Reasonably priced, well-appointed uptown option
Great location close to 2 subway lines (A/C and 1) and platform elevators. Convenient services in neighborhood (24 hour greengrocer and deli within 1-2 blocks on the way to the subway).
Well appointed room (lots of outlets, lighting, tall faucet for filling water bottles). Since our stay was long (5 days), free fridge was brought in. Great view of downtown skyscrapers.
Lounge area was good place to entertain visitors since room is typical small NYC space.
Shower leaked (faulty gasket on underside of door?), but since towels were changed daily, not a big deal.

Staff was extremely friendly
It’s about 3 1/2 blocks from New York Presbyterian Hospital… A lot of food choices within walking distance.
Down side there is no parking available

A welcome retreat in Washington Heights
The only hotel in the Washington Heights area, offering very good value for those that need access to the nearby NYC Presbyterian hospital or Columbia facilities. The rooms were surprisingly quiet, cozy and all the amenities worked. Bathroom was fine, everything was very clean. Maid service each day. The front staff was very friendly and accommodating, always greeting you with a smile. They also brought up a mini fridge which made our extended 2-week stay much more comfortable. The neighborhood looks rough--and it probably is later at night--but it has a lot of character. There's lots of food places, a supermarket, even a Target all within walking distance. The subway is a three minute walk down the street.
The air conditioner cooled, but it didn't seem cool enough. Those appliances make noise, something I'm not a fan of. But it never got too hot. And the windows opened and let in cool air.

Great value and location and not far from the bustling downtown, but a nice area to have some peace
Good location, close to the subway, small room but had everything we needed. Since we were staying 6 days they gave us a fridge for the room too!
Staff was so kind and helpful and got us anything we needed and answered all questions and needs quickly. Above and beyond!

Comfortable stay in a lovely, well run hotel
Modern, clean, thoughtful touches and close to amenities. It was ideal for my short stay helping to settle my daughter into accommodation nearby. The reception team were very friendly and helpful and the room was beautifully clean with a fabulous view of the New York skyline.
A small fridge might be useful.

The receptionist on February at the Desk when I got there at after 3 in the afternoon was very helpful and welcoming. Needed to book an extra day and he went the extra mile to help me do so.

This is a lovely hotel conveniently located to the Bronx with nicer neighborhood.
