The Baccarat Hotel is located across the Museum of Modern Art, and minutes away from famous tourist spots such as Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and Times Square. Nearby there are some scrumptious eateries like Le Bernardin and The Modern.
The exterior of the Baccarat Hotel distinguishes itself through its exquisite glass and crystal work and appears lively with the variation of weather. The interior of the hotel blinks from head to toe, with the inside, filled with crystal décor, wooden flooring, and covered in sleek fabric flaunting subtle elegance and sophistication.
The hotel offers 60 private residences along with 114 guestrooms styled with a touch of French customs. Glamorous room décor includes woven rugs, marble walls, and wooden flooring, they have chic modernized set up to control the temperature, lights, and different highlights in the room and of course a minibar to wrap up the luxuries.

Nice luxury hotel could do better with customer experience
Nice luxury hotel, comfortable beds, clean rooms and good location if you’re looking to stay uptown. Beautiful pool in basement.
The staff at the cafe/breakfast is NOT friendly. after multiple visits to this hotel, even when not staying at this hotel, we often come for breakfast or snacks, I can honestly say that the staff that run this cafe (same faces every time) are so unpleasant! Hire new staff or retrain them! They are not a good image for the baccarat dining experience.

Exceptional
The rooms were lux and well appointed. The staff were attentive. Housekeeping was top notch.
I arrived on foot in the rain and walked past the hotel MULTIPLE times because it is NOT well labeled from the street. I was a drowned rat by the time I noticed the black on black barely illuminated sign with doormen standing in front of it.

Location. Excellent design. Very comfortable bed and pillows.
Restaurant service. I had to wait until someone serve us for 20 minutes, finally had to call for the waiter and ask a menu. Also I was charged twice for one drink.

I am staying at baccarat at my next visit to New York
the ambience is cozy and the rooms had a luxurious feel AND the bathroom had a bidet which is a big plus

Absolutely fabulous, nothing more to say.
Absolutely fantastic, room was exceptional, the décor was elegant and cosy. The staff were excellent and went above and beyond they are a total credit to the hotel. Well done.
The room could have been better if it had a bath tub as well, but that is not a negative in my opinion. However, if the room did have a bath tub, it would have put the "icing on the cake".
