The Baccarat Hotel is located across the Museum of Modern Art, and minutes away from famous tourist spots such as Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and Times Square. Nearby there are some scrumptious eateries like Le Bernardin and The Modern.
The exterior of the Baccarat Hotel distinguishes itself through its exquisite glass and crystal work and appears lively with the variation of weather. The interior of the hotel blinks from head to toe, with the inside, filled with crystal décor, wooden flooring, and covered in sleek fabric flaunting subtle elegance and sophistication.
The hotel offers 60 private residences along with 114 guestrooms styled with a touch of French customs. Glamorous room décor includes woven rugs, marble walls, and wooden flooring, they have chic modernized set up to control the temperature, lights, and different highlights in the room and of course a minibar to wrap up the luxuries.

Room was clean and beautiful. Waitress at breakfast was great.
Spa is small and limited. Tried to spend some time at the pool and there were people making a lot of noise, arguing.

Incredibly luxurious rooms, but thats about it…
The room, the room and again the ROOM! It was outstanding - clean, amazing bathroom, baccarat everywhere, TV + connect to phone surround sound speakers. Automatic blinds. Adjusted lighting. Super king size bed! Fancy key. Everything about this room was totally incredible!
Now to the parts that took the 2 out of 10 and made this review a 8/10 instead of 10/10. Number 1 is the food and drink services at the hotel. Breakfast was okay, but thats about it, just like any nice cafe in New York. The service was ok as well. What was not ok is the pricing. $14 + tax + automatic %20 tip for a coffee - a small cappuccino guys, this is about $20 for a cappuccino and if you want it to be taken to a room then you will pay another $5 of mandatory admin charge that no staff explained to me after. This was very upsetting because it just felt like the pricing was rudely non-transparent and just trying to rip people off who are already paying over $1k for a night. Really? Not a single 5 star - very expensive place in the world that I have been on, has such rude pricing on simple items, I am not talking about truffle pasta here. A tea-pot to the room = $32! Get out of here.
Number 2 - the SPA, please dont go to the SPA it is horrible. The jacuzzi reeks of chlorine. There is no sauna and a cold steam room. If you are used to a 5 star SPA experience - please avoid. Thanks.
