The hotel itself is beautiful. A step back in time to this spectacular structure makes you appreciate the older architecture.

After 8pm the noise (and I wasnt facing Broadway and was on the 7th floor) was insanely loud. ALL NIGHT LONG! There was a train every night (overnight) that went by and made so much noise… never again!

The location was brilliant, the hotel is stunning and the room is beautiful. The food we ate both in the restaurant and in the bar was really good! The live music was always fantastic and the reception staff were always really helpful. The housekeeping staff were also really polite and helpful.

This could’ve been the best place I’ve ever stayed and it should’ve been for how much we spent! We felt disappointed with a few things such as there was only one robe in the bedroom when we arrived even though I’d stated to them when booking it was our honeymoon. Our shower had a big clump of hair that hadn’t been removed from the drain when we arrived and the air con was really loud in the room meaning we couldn’t really leave it on overnight. It is an old hotel so I understand that one might be difficult to do!

The room. Overlooking a parking lot, with the smallest bathroom I’ve ever the misfortune to endure. And, grossly overpriced.

It is a beautiful historic building. Room was artsy and comfortable.

Room was across from elevator and heard people going in and out all night long and staff early in morning. Could hear full conversations at elevator. We were on first level and people above us super loud. Outside window people can walk on balcony and look right in room. Total bad location of room. We only stayed one night and that is all I could handle.

when we arrived we were advised that only a queen room was available when a King room had been booked and confirmed. was advised that through a 3rd party meant no guarantee of what we had booked. Eventually after asking to speak to a manager they said they had upgraded us. however in my opinion the king room offered was small compared to other rooms we have stayed in at similar price levels in other hotels. They are using the iconic station to sell luxury when it isn’t. ordered room service and everything arrived in plastic trays. yogurt and pastries/bread put in one tray! For the rate paid would have expected the room service to arrive on a tray not in a paper bag. disappointed as it could have been so much better.

Could walk to the Gulch or Downtown. Welcome water. Excellent coffee in restaurant. Nice employees. Clean.

No lobby for much of my stay due to wedding. Probably a deal breaker for returning. Also not many nearby amenities like drug stores, nail salons, hair salons - was a 12 minute walk.

Our room was hot the high ceilings made it really hard to get the room temperature comfortable also our room had a large window that overlooked a patio/deck walk way so ppl walked past and could see right in our room very odd and not private also the room smelt damp you could tell it was an older facility probably would not stay again at that price, seemed very expensive for what we got. My husband and I came to Nashville during the CMA‘s unknowingly which explains price

everything else! Especially the service, staff and the room! So awful for the almost $2,000.00 we had to pay. 1) Couldn’t get into the hotel when we arrived. No staff around to let us in. Finally were able to get in when some folks were returning to the hotel and they let us in. 2) We booked a king bed room but on our arrival we were told they had upgraded us to two queen beds. We wanted a king bed. 3) We couldn’t unpack because there was no dresser to put our clothes in. Very odd and irritating! 4) Staff were grumpy, slow or would just ignore us. That is no way to treat customers, especially at how much we had to pay to stay there!! 5) Restaurant fare was quite limited. Only ate breakfast there twice. The coffee was horrible, so I requested a late, but it was not much better. I couldn’t even taste any espresso. Also the waiter service was very slow. 6) Receptions service was also very unsatisfactory. We were ignored several times and also made to wait while staff talked amongst themselves. 7) Service from the bartenders was also unsatisfactory. Staff stood and talked and talked, ignoring us. Finally I said quite loudly “the service here sucks.”. At that, one of the bartenders came and waited on me. 8) Windows in our room were very dirty. 9) Horrible housekeeping service as well. Asked for our room to be cleaned. As far as I could tell, no vacuuming was done. Beds were made, thanks. Wet towels and washrags were rolled up and placed as if they were new, fresh and clean. They weren’t. They were our wet towels we had used for a few days. 10) Housekeeping left us with no hand soap. 11) Housekeeping did not replenish our coffee and coffee supplies. Another thing we had to go ask for. 12) My breakfast eggs and bacon were unsatisfactory. The eggs were undercooked and raw and the sponge off the bacon was too burned to eat.

Perfect nothing negative

Overpriced. Limited menu at the restaurant. What was a $375 room charge turned out to be almost a $500 a night with taxes and $52 a night valet parking. Dinner menu and wine list was mediocre at least. The staff was like you expected in lower end Marriott hotel. Disappointed

The staff was exceptional! Location was ideal and the bed was amazingly comfortable! The aesthetic of the hotel interior and exterior was stunning. I loved sitting in the lobby drinking coffee every morning.

I loved everything about it. If anything, I wished there was a coffee shop inhouse. I would travel across the street to the Hyatt to get coffee every morning.

Hotel was beautiful! Room and shower was great! Breakfast was great, but short staffed and took way too long.

The room was very nice and the hotel itself was beautiful. Great valet staff.

The cost for Breakfast was extremely high vs the portion delivered to our room.

They were able to provide a private and quiet room, but it had double beds which is not what I'd booked.

Room HVAC was very loud. Double beds when king was booked.

The facility

The room service was terrible. The desk staff was not helpful in that they wouldn't let Mr speak to the manager. We found upon our departure that our vehicle had been burglarized. We had about $500 worth of items. Again at the desk when I told them what had happened the clerk just flatly sad. We outsource our parking you need to talk to them, pointing to the valet. Yes one valet. This poor guy works for PREMIER PARKING..About two hours later I got a call from PREMIER PARKING. He says he will go look at the video and call me back. We he called me back he implied I was a liar. His employee, the nice valet was the first to see that my truck had been ransacked. PREMIER PARKING has promised to actually go to the hotel and talk to the valet and to review his video. I haven't recieved a call back yet.
