The Bobby Hotel, Nashville

-Great location, not noisy -Cool aesthetic/vibe -Comfortable bed! -I slept better at this hotel then any other because the room was actually almost completely dark at night with the blackout curtains/not many electronics lit up (weird flex I guess, but as someone who has great trouble sleeping with any light I would absolutely stay here again because of this) -Friendly staff -Lots of snack/drink options in room (of course for a little extra but not terrible)

-Toilet lid slipped to the left every time I sat on it (cheap/annoying) -Cheap toilet paper and the roll kept falling off into the trash can because of the weird holder -No view -Overall I definitely liked the hotel, it’s just overpriced (like everything these days)

Everything at the hotel was amazing. It was walking distance to everything you needed. The food at the coffee shop and restaurant were amazing. Loved the roof top bar.

The pool was very small and there were no coffee pots in the room. The coffee restaurant on the main lobby was amazing.

The cleaners didn’t clean our room during our 3 day stay - we were out most days 9am - 3pm and then back out 5pm-late. Luckily we didn’t need new towels or toilet roll!

Hotel had a great vibe. The lobby smells fantastic which helps set the tone for your stay. Lobby dog was a nice addition. Bed super comfortable. Room was quiet with a great balcony. Location excellent. Short walk to Broadway and many restaurants . Valet very quick in bringing car around and helpful with baggage. The pool was small but had ample seating and a nice view of the city.

Room wasn’t very clean the first day we checked in. Mold behind bathroom sink, cigarette butts on balcony, dust in corners, and a broken chair on the balcony. The young man at the front desk not super accommodating due to the fact our room was booked with booking.com we would not be able to upgrade. The second day Donny at the front desk quickly relocated us to a new room and the rest of our stay was fantastic. Donny went out of his way to help make it a great stay for us and that was greatly appreciated! He went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met! Night staff at the desk seemed reluctant to bring extra blanket and pillows. Were told there were none available and they later were brought to the room. No high ball glasses only wine glasses provided in the room which seems strange when the minibar contains various types of liquor. Called downstairs and again were told there were none available.

Very big room and comfy bed. Location great, close to the busy Honky Tonk street but in a quiet street. Don´t miss Skulls and Blues Boogie bar just next door.

Location, modern amenities, kind staff

The couple next to us loudly fought their entire visit and we heard every word. They left piles of food and trash in our hallway. Not the hotels fault but it leaves a bad taste on the experience.

The hotel was lovely inside. The gym was clean and well equipped. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The food in the UNION BAR was very good, the flavours were excellent. The portions were American sized. Our waiter (Kevin) was great he made us feel valued and special. He acknowledged our 25th wedding anniversary with a couple of complimentary glasses of prosecco. A nice touch to the end of our meal. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

However, the bed sheets in our room were a little worn out and looked grey and old. Not as white as they should have been. The spare pillow and blanket in the cupboard were stained and dirty with sweat. The iron was faulty and dangerous. The retractable cord did not retract. Even though this was reported, the replacement wasn't much better. Finally, on one day of our 3 days' stay, the 2 bottles of water weren't replenished.

Amazing location, helpful staff, easy access for parking. Design of all the spaces was beautiful. We had a corner balcony room that was very spacious and well laid out.

There was no coffee maker or tea kettle in the room, which is odd given the extensive bar and treats selection. You are forced to go downstairs and purchase coffee at the cafe, which is good, but forces you to get dressed to have coffee. Not great for a party town. Balcony room was great, but the corner unit has zero view and you're against another room that can see you on the balcony so no privacy.

The rooms at The Bobby are comfortable and decorated nicely. The bathroom design is very modern and cool. You can hear everything into the room though. There are no extra amenities such as coffee or a fridge, other than the one with items for sale. We paid extra for a balcony room and were disappointed. It had 2 basic chairs and a small table and a view of roofs near by. Definitely not worth the money. The hotel staff both times I have stayed are not the above and beyond kind of staff. I think they have a door man but it was very hit or miss if they were there. We never saw one to help us. The front desk seemed a bit bothered when checking guests in. The were efficient, once you got their attention, but not friendly. Gave the vibe of you were just lucky to be there so they didn't need to do much. I know people can have an off day but this was our experience last time and observing others check in while we were in the lobby. The location of the hotel is in a great spot to walk to many attractions, like the Ryman and Broadway. There is a nice coffee spot in the lobby that has nice breakfast options and beverages to start your day. The rooftop area is nice. The airstream is a cool pic spot. There is a pool that is small and gets crowded quickly. Limited chairs around the pool so go early if you like to lounge about. The room and the location make it nice if you can get the price when it is more reasonable.

I wish the staff would have been more welcoming and aware of people coming in and out of the hotel.

Love the boutique feel. The rooms were gorgeous and had all the amenities we needed.

The aroma that they use smells kinda like old man vanilla, just a bit overwhelmed with the scent. At first I thought somebody used way too much cologne.

Clean, nice decor, good location-walking distance Broadway but far enough away to be quiet at night. This is our second stay at Bobby Hotel and we will probably stay again when in Nashville

The property was beautiful and our room was well appointed. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. All around a wonderful experience. Close to everything in downtown Nashville we were interested in.

The only snafu from our visit was a mixup with laundry service - we were misinformed around timelines and were unable to get our garments cleaned before leaving.

The location is great. Was is walking distance to broadway and everything we were doing there. All the staff was very friendly and was happy to answer all our questions.

The pool was very small, so anyone with kids that want to swim might find it difficult. It was only big enough for about 5 people or so, if you want to just sit in the water it’s great but any real swimming would be difficult. Valet parking was confusing for the first time visit. The street is busy and we didn’t know that we needed to pull right in front of hotel on the street but we pulled off to the little side street and valet helped instruct on how to drive around the block.

Excellent location backing onto Printers Alley, within walking distance of so many brilliant things to do. Very good sized room with excellent bathroom and proper mini bar.

Restaurant only seemed to be open at weekends.

Beautiful property in a fantastic location.

Room service did not do their jobs. Empty body wash in shower. Empty replacement toilet paper. Had to call and ask front desk for more. They didn’t get it done til my wife walked down a few hours later and had to ask again.

Close to everything, everything is how you would want the hotel to be and where it should too!

No USB charging sockets in the room. No kettle or tea making facilities. Housemaid did not understand English leading to an uncleaned room on one of our days.

It is an eclectic and quirky hotel. Furnishings are fabulous especially the huge chandelier in the lobby. Our room was spacious with a lovely big bathroom and walk in shower. Very comfy bed. Disappointed there were no facilities in the room to make hot drinks. First night we asked for a kettle. They said they had no kettles and gave us hot water. Next night we asked for hot water and they sent a kettle! Why not put a coffee maker in the room like most hotels and save the fussing? The rooftop bar is nice.

Paying an insane amount for parking- $60 plus tax!

It was so cool. The decor was just we wanted for a fun girls trip with the twins. Close the venue for the concert and super comfortable. We only stayed 1 night but it was well worth it.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The room is gorgeous.

Although the room is gorgeous to look at it’s lacking one big thing, bathroom privacy. The toilet and shower are surrounded by glass that you can see through in sections. The door is a sliding barn door made of glass. You can literally hear from the bedroom area when someone is peeing or making other “sounds”. Unfortunately, this would prevent me from booking here again. Which is sad because the actual room is so beautiful and stylish.

Awesome boutique hotel with a cool rooftop bar located in the middle of everything!!! Go check Sinatra’s restaurant literally next door.

Loved the location. It’s close enough to broadway to walk to but away from the mayhem. It’s very stylish and fun.

The bathroom design makes it very hard to stay for more than a couple of days. There are no towel hangers, the shower is just in the bathroom (no door, no shower dam) so the water gets everywhere. The walls are glass so there’s nowhere for toilet holder to go other than behind the toilet which makes it very annoying. The counter is way too small for all of my things. But this only got annoying after 3 days.

Pros: I am going to preface this review by saying I scour TripAdvisor and Booking.com reviews before I make my final hotel decisions. That being said… The property is beautifully decorated, smelled amazing, rooms, and entire property are immaculate, LOVED the shower, and overall it is a lovely and VERY QUIET hotel!! Loved the motion censored nightlight that came on when having to use the bathroom at night. Also, The Bobby has absolutely delightful, and accommodating staff, which can make or break a stay! Shout out to Josh, who went above and beyond helping us find a fun, unique place to go that was out of the Nashville norm. Highly recommend Mechanical Pins! Absolute blast!! Was about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Putt-putt golf nearby there as well. All of the front staff were delightful, and the valet people were incredibly helpful!! We couldn’t have asked for a better location! Broadway is fun, but it’s nice to go “home” and have quieter, more intimate fun bars just around the corner!! Loved being right off Printers Alley! Would definitely stay again if the hotel prices were less. Expensive for what you get. Felt very safe, as you need to use your key card to get up to the room. They let us check out an hour late, (with no charge) even though it was a Saturday, and that’s obviously a very busy day for them. We were extremely grateful for that!! I personally would choose The Bobby over the Noelle (which is right down the street), based on what we saw when we walked into the Noelle. There is a small grocery store nearby, which is handy. Cons: We only had a couple of nice days weather wise the entire week we were there, and wanted to sit up on the lovely (from what I saw in pictures) pool deck with the bus and games, and play cornhole and have a few drinks. NOPE… there was a private event. on the nice day we wanted to sit up there. So we had to leave.

Best shower hotel

It was eccentric and beautiful! It was right in the middle of everywhere and everything we needed! Was able to park the truck and walk everywhere!

The balcony wasn’t really what we expected. Figured it would have more of a view.

Great location, can walk everywhere. Good late night burger joint across the street. Loved our entire stay & what a wonderful hotel.

They actually upgraded our room free and it was their most luxurious suite. I’ve never stayed anywhere that pretty ! The parking in downtown Nashville is crazy and you’re going to pay a lot to park anywhere, but having the valet was amazing ! They were so fast and you could request your car from a link they texted to your phone! It was an awesome trip and we will definitely be back and reccomneded it to all our family and friends ! The location was only a 5 min walk to broadway and like 3 min walk to printers ally and was just enough distance to be out of the way of the craziness! There was also a late night burger place across the street that was amazing. Couldn’t say enough good things ! It was such an amazing trip. The picture is a view from our balcony ! Our room looked just like the photos !
