Primo Piano Posillipo, Naples

The room was clean & comfortable. The view from the main living area was nice. The location was good, walkable to most areas but out of the way.

There was a broken tile in our shower. The air con in the room was temperamental. The room was a bit outdated. Host was not clear about the city tax ‘in case of no-shows’ which was a surprise & we had no cash.

Never saw “staff.” Except at check in done by 2 non-English speaking cleaning ladies who were very nice. Room is small,fits double bed with little room on either side. Need to duck under mounted tv to get in one side. No chair- bed and small metal table only. Difficult to get to without paying big price for taxis. No water provided. You pass a kitchen on way to room but it has nothing for guests. Loud noise from 11 pm to 2 am - sounds and smells like garbage trucks off loading and room filled with garbage/sewage smells. Window overlooks resident parking lot. Nothing conveniently located.

Great concept, great design and location.

Don’t put parking on the listing when there is none that the hotel can in anyway guarantee. Had to park over a mile away. And had lots of luggage. Would not have stayed if listing was more accurate.

Great location and design aesthetic

the owner cancelled our booking for our last night with no notice, Whilst an alternative was offered it was not suitable and sub standard. Breakfast is not at the property it is a 6 minute walk to a bar for a coffee and a pastry, use of the kitchen facilities is not allowed. Coffee machine was broken, no milk. Toiletries, v poor. Our room had a view of the car park. This place is totally over hyped with owners who do not care about their customers.

The location is magnificent and not far from the centre. The room was beautiful and the view simply stunning! A wonderful energy altogether! Great design and aesthetics, highly recommended!

The breakfast could be better. Also, it always helps if the person who welcomes you at the room speaks English - however the host spoke English and was always standby to help.

this is a stunning apartment B&B. while a little way out of the centre of town it felt like a lovely way to see Naples. breakfast at the cafe was a real pleasure and meals at two restaurants nearby were exceptional. away from the normal run of tourists felt like a real treat. easy to walk to town and use Lime bikes for head back. the public beach was just down the way and the view out over the bay to Vesuvius was stunning. great help from Francesca too. thank you!

The sea view from the room is very good.

The check-in didn't go smoothly. The owner can just say that in-person checking-in is not an option, instead of pretending they can offer in-person check-in and wasting time on the communication.

Beautifully designed space. Very comfortable bed and pillows. The team running this delightful accommodation were very helpful and available at all hours to answer questions. They really went above and beyond to ensure all aspects of your stay run smoothly.

The design of the hotel was nice, as was the building it was located in.

The room was clean, but it smelled like an old wet towel. The bathroom was also clean on the surface but there’s a lot of calcium buildup on the faucets, distributing the water very unevenly. The communication wasn’t great either, there was no receptionist present during the entirety of the stay. They left it all to the cleaning lady, who was nice but who didn’t speak a word of English.

Lovely room and common area. The view from our room was spectacular. Francesca couldn’t have been more helpful or gracious. She kindly offered to call taxis for us or help with any arrangements.

Maybe a bit too far from things but the view and relative quiet of Posillipo made up for that.

Beautiful apartment. When checking in it was unclear who was checking us in. Cleaning lady let us in without speaking English. Wifi did not work and location is far from city center of Naples. The contact point did help us organize a taxi but wouldn’t stay this far away from center, only if that’s what you want.

The flat is spectacular, with a view of the bay, the city and Vesuvius, to die for. The decoration is modern and very tasteful. The flat is located within easy reach of all that the centre of town has to offer - there is a bus stop in front of the house -, but in a slightly quieter, upmarket neighbourhood. Breakfast in the flat wasn't available on the day so we were given a voucher for use in a nearby bar - a decent alternative featuring an excellent cappuccino, fresh juice, a lovely fresh croissant.

Although the flat advertises that parking is available, it can be very difficult to find a free spot in the streets nearby. The nearest parking garage is far away.

The room was very clean and nicely decorated, the bathroom was also great. Very easy to check-in and nice quiet location. The accommodation was within walking distance of all of Posillipo's beaches and restaurants.

Personally I always like to be greeted by the hosts - they were very helpful in booking an airport transfer for me and very responsive with any queries, it was just a shame I didn't have a chance to meet them! I also would prefer to have breakfast at the accommodation - breakfast was provided at a local cafe with limited options.

- The view just too amazing! - the owner is super friendly and helpful! The restaurant that they recommended was great and good value for the money! - the breakfast was in the cafe bar and it was fresh and tasty. - there is a bus stop front of the host “140” - The bed was very comfortable! And good quality of sleep. Strongly recommend!

I loved the design of the property, the room itself was a decent size with some beautiful design features. The communal space was also stunning with a gorgeous sea view

The ‘yellow’ room is very bright (owning to a lovely big window) but the curtains could be improved to black the room out further. The bed is positioned right underneath the air con unit, I’d reorient the bed to avoid this. There is a kitchen but it is out of bounds, despite being accessoried for cooking. I made my daughter some lunch but was told it was a b&b only. this was a big shame especially because a kitchen is useful when travelling with a young child.

The property was beautifully designed and not in the heart of downtown Naples which can be a bit overwhelming.

The walls were marked up with scratches from previous guests and their suitcases most likely. Definitely needs some touch up paint. The shower drain wasn’t draining properly on day 1 but since we weren’t going to be there that long, we told the owner it was ok to wait to fix until we checked out. They were very responsive to this but just a bummer that was an issue upon check-in.

Parking was a bit difficult on the street.

The stay was very nice. The Room, the accommodations are perfect. The room is really quite. Francesca is so kind, her explanations were clear. And the room is well situated . I will recommend it to all my friends who want to visit Napoli.

Beautiful location in Naples - around 20 minutes by car from the airport! Also walkable to the train station! Hosts easily contactable and wonderfully accomodating. Stress free booking & a beautiful room waiting for us at the end of a very long flight. Heaven!
