This location was just incredible, staff was proffesional from the beginning and they made our stay incredible

A very warm hospitality that will make you feel like at home in Naples. Centrally located and well connected to many sightseeing (while also protected from the city noise). Excellent breakfast carefully prepared by the owners.

Loved the design and decor. Large, airy room. Great location near to the old quarter. Loved having coffee on the roof terrace of a morning. Staff we super friendly, helpful and accommodating. They can't do enough for you.

Breakfast was tasty, maybe could be a bit more varied. Struggling to think of negatives!

It's a lovely place close to the city center The rooms are nicely decorated. The staff is very attentive and helpful and they helped with ideas. Excellent value for money, we booked for one night but it was pleasure to stay there so we stayed for another one.

The only reason I give it 9 instead of 10 is because that I thought that parking is included as part of the reservation because in the hotel page it is written as a facility of the room. However, I realized that parking is impossible in the area. Only there is a paid parking spot around the corner .. the staff helped me to reduce the costs a bit.

Amazing staff. Super clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. Spacious too which allowed us to stretch out a bit. Loved it.

One of my favorite hotels in Naples! Located just outside the city center, but close to metro and sites by walking. A very beautiful building, with uniquely decorated communal spaces and rooms. My floor had a shared kitchen and sitting space. There is also the upstairs shared spaces along with an incredible rooftop terrace with jaw-dropping views and comfortable seating. The staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. Breakfast had good variety with homemade cakes and other options, especially the to-order eggs and cappuccino, with the real treat being able to eat on the terrace. It always felt comfortable and inviting to lounge in the communal spaces and chat with guests or staff.

I knew about the stairs in advance but definitely do not underestimate the many flights of stairs. It's worth the views but be warned. And although the property is close to many sites, it is slightly uphill and adds up when tired. My room was a little noisy from the street but I am sensitive to sound so it might not be a problem for others. Other room locations likely vary.

The place is amazing. The rooftop terrace has a stunning view over Naples, very quit and lots of plants.

Lovely friendly place with amazing art and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommended. Really well placed for the old town and archaeological museum. Easy access to the airport.

Liked the people and the accommodation was very quirky and interesting. Good facilities in the accommodation. No lift could be a problem for some people also some rooms gave a ladder to an additional bed.

It’s a 3floor walk up but our host Roberto did carry our bags up.

Excellent location just a short walk from the fabulous archaeological museum. The property is in a beautiful old building and the owners have renovated with great style and taste , incorporating the work of local artists. We really appreciated the communal kitchen area to make tea and fridge to store drinks. Our hosts were super responsive both before and during the stay, giving helpful tips for places to eat and visit. Breakfast was an absolute feast including homemade jams and fresh baked cakes as well as eggs if you want them. The roof terrace is a great location for breakfast or for taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city. Would certainly stay at Magma House again- highly recommended!

Style, art and design pieces and the most friendly staff

Everything about Magma was fantastic! The neighbourhood is excellent, quiet but very centrally located and close to the historical quarter. Our room was very spacious, super clean and comfortable. The communal areas were also very homely and the roof terrace an excellent bonus! The host was exceptional - Roberto helped to arrange an airport transfer for us and was at the property on our arrival. The apartments are on the fourth floor and there isnt a lift, but he helped to carry my (very heavy) bag up and down which was very welcomed! Breakfast was delicious - a range of homemade cakes and pastries, with the choice of continental breakfast too (I'd recommend the scrambled eggs with parmesan 🤤), and excellent coffee. I would stay here again tomorrow, and will be recommending this venue for anyone travelling to Naples!

Great location, easy walking distance to sights and to the metro, also to the lovely bars and restaurants around Bellini Square. The hotel is like a series of apartments off a kitchen and living space and all gave access to the gorgeous roof garden. Roberto is a fantastic member of staff - total superstar! really helpful in advance of arriving and warm, friendly and informative on arrival. He was a lovely welcoming face at breakfast each morning. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfy with aircon etc.

There is nothing we didn’t like but it is worth mentioning, as others have, that magma is on the 3rd floor so it’s a good 10 short flights with your cases on arrival. I’m the heat it’s hard going.

We absolutely loved staying at Magma. Roberto was so kind and welcoming, he gave us an excellent guide and advice about the city which took all the stress away from planning our days. The apartment itself is in a beautiful old Neapolitan building which made the trip so special. The view from the rooftop terrace is unbeatable, panoramic with clear views of Vesuvius. The photos don't do it justice. Such a special trip!

Incredible location, just a short walk down the hill into Naples and right next to the museum. They offered us breakfast every morning and they make special considerations for gluten free. The best part was the roof! You had views of the city and Vesuvius from there

This place is so charming and original, we couldn't believe our luck finding it! The different apartments are themed - for example, our floor featured street artists. There are interesting objects and design elements everywhere you look. The roof terrace is beautiful and the individual rooms are spacious with good bathrooms and comfortable beds. Fabulous breakfasts with a wide choice of delicious things. The staff are all lovely as well. We appreciated the advance communication about arrival, transfers, and recommendations as it made our visit very easy. Everyone was very helpful and friendly during our stay. If we return to Napoli we would definitely stay here again.

I can't fault Magma at all. The only thing that was difficult about our trip was the heat - Naples in August is very hot and this August was particularly hot - thankfully our room had good air conditioning. I'd say, don't visit Naples at this time of year if you can go in October instead!

The breakfast was exceptional. Incredibly fresh and amazing quality. The rooftop was stunning with an incredible view over the city to mount Vesuvius. Alberto was incredibly welcoming, knowledge and helpful.

We had a great time in Napoli thanks to the wonderful Magma Home. The rooms are big, well decorated and quiet at night which is a big plus in Napoli. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The terrace is wonderful at any time, especially in the evening with the view over the Vesuvio. The staff (Roberto) is super friendly and helpful. They have an amazing list of recommanded places to visit and where to eat (my favorite is Starita, 5min on foot.) they also arranged our pick up for the departure which was great. The location is convenient, everything is accessible on foot and there are many shops nearby for all grocery and shopping purposes. The price is a little bit more expensive compared to the rest of the city but it is 100% worth it in my opinion given all the great service.

Do be aware that they are big stairs (3 or 4 floors) to reach the rooms and no elevator. It is an important information for some people.

Most of Napoli's attractions are to the east. Fortunately the taxis to the city centre are not too expensive.

The rooms are very spacious and property has a very homely feeling about it. The property manager Roberto is a wonderful person and was super helpful with all of our needs and questions. Everything is within walking distance.

The staff and property manager are very helpful, welcoming, and happy that you are here. I highly recommend this place. Fresh breakfast everyday, including eggs, toast, freshly baked cakes, fruits, latte, etc. The room is very clean and they are very attentive to guest's needs. It is centrally located near the Metro and walking distance to the Napoli vibes! I consider it a home away from my home.

Everything was exceptional!

Our stay at Magma was wonderful. The location was great for exploring Naples. Lots of restaurants, cafes and places to visit nearby. Naples is a very busy city but but Magmas location is a lot quieter. The views from the roof terrace are fantastic. The manager Roberto was brilliant. He sent numerous recommendations for our stay, quite a few of which we took advantage of and they were perfect. Roberto and Chiara made our stay special and we’d love to stay again.

Magma feels familiar; it feels like staying with friends. They make you feel welcomed and comfortable right away. The apartments are decorated carefully and creatively, making them the perfect place to stay in Napoli. The terrace is amazing and a really nice space to have breakfast and a few drinks. Roberto recommended a great day walk to get to know Napoli and really made it easy for us to do so.

The rooms are hidden behind a gated entrance and are just wonderful- the rooms are all individually designed and really original. We stayed in an apartment featuring street art with art carried out by local artists. The staff and owners were delightful and really friendly and helpful

I was traveling alone and felt very welcomed here. I came on a Sunday and they were having music on the roof. I felt included and like I had landed in the right place. Breakfast is incredible. I needed fresh fruit and good coffee. They even made us eggs and you could take it up to the rooftop on a tray. The street is very quite.

It's not so easy to bring the luggage up the stairs unfortunately. I'm traveling for 2 weeks so my bag is a little heavy. But they had someone help me.

Great place to stay with family: spacious room with bathroom, nicely decorated common spaces, a fantastic view from the roof - a perfect place for breakfast and evening glass of wine. Roberto, our host, was very welcoming and always ready to give tips about where to eat, drink or go. Consider that there is no elevator and apartments are on the third or fourth floor.

The hosts are very kind and obliging. The breakfast is fantastic! The rooftop terrace is wonderfull. Also, It was great to see, how they are supporting local artists and and contributing to the energy transition (lots of PV on the roof).

The pillow was not that comfortable (too thick), but that could also be personal preferance.

We went back to MAGMA after having a wonderful stay there last year. We very much appreciate the extraordinarily friendly staff, the green roof top terrace with views of the Vesuv and the neighborhood which is just five minutes walking distance from the city. We can highly recommend this place and would go back there again anytime…

We found this gem of a place in the midst of all the hustle and bustle of Naples. The rooms were spacious with two large roof top terraces to chill on. Very original concept. Breakfast was amazing with homemade jams and cakes, choice of outdoor terraces or open living space to eat on. Very freindly hosts. We will be back!!

Roberto was a fantastic host. His maps to Naples were brilliant and really helped us to make the most of our time in the city. The breakfasts were excellent (I still need the recipe for that chocolate cake Roberto!) and the roof terrace was a great sanctuary feom the bustle of Naples.

Amazing rooftop and beautiful place full of art in the heart of Napoli. Roberto, with his breakfasts and tips, made the stay even more enjoyable. I can't recommend this place enough.

Location is just outside the crazy buzzing life of Naples which gives a measure of quiet before the daytime adventures. Roberto the manager is attentive and passionate, helping to create a unique experience both in the hotel and giving bespoke recommendations on a daily basis for how to enjoy our stay. Breakfast is a cozy moment for guests to get to know each other with pastries and cakes baked the day before by Roberto himself. Each room is decorated by a different local artist which allows you to feel the energy of the city from the quiet of the room, and from the the rooftop you can see mount Vesuvius directly while

The apartment is on the top floor of the building and there is no elevator, keep this in mind if packing heavy suitcases, though Roberto will come down to get you and insist on carrying the luggage for you
