Hotel Piazza Bellini, Naples

A beautiful, modern and clean hotel in the heart of Naples. Considering the noise, traffic and bustle of Via Toledo is only a short walk away, the hotel is located in a small quiet square away from all the noise. The rooms are modern and well equipped. The courtyard area is particularly nice and a lovely place to sit and have breakfast. Breakfast was really nice. There are several options to eat/drink in close proximity of the hotel.

We had a very comfortable stay in this hotel and cannot fault the facilities. The only negative comment relates to the cost of the airport transfer booked through the hotel. We had booked 1 night in this hotel before our morning flight home. When checking in, the receptionist informed us that there would be a taxi strike the next day which would impact our journey back to the airport and offered to book a transfer for us. We decided to go ahead with the transfer and when asked the price, the 3 staff behind reception had a debate (in Italian) on the cost, and without looking up any systems, finally quoted €100. At the beginning of our trip, we had paid €115 for a 50k journey from Naples Airport to Sorrento, so €100 for a 5k journey from Hotel Piazza Bellini to the airport seemed a bit excessive but because of the strikes we felt we had no option but to avail of it. We appreciate the higher demand during taxi strikes that may cause price increases, but it still felt a crazy amount of money for a 10 minute journey.

Excellent location. Always felt safe and easy walking distance to the tourist sites. One of the better breakfast buffets we have enjoyed in Italy. The staff were especially knowledgable and helpful. I want to say an extra thank you to Maria Federica at the front desk.. She spent an hour helping to organize bus and private car transportation for me and my friend. It really made our departure from Naples easy. I look forward to returning to this hotel soon.

Beautiful courtyard upon entry. Beautiful view from room balcony. The breakfast was very good with amazing hospitality. I loved that we could get a quick bite to eat in the charming courtyard when we arrived to check in early. I am recommending Hotel Piazza Bellini to family members who are traveling next year.

We had the upstairs/downstairs room that we absolutely loved. The AC was a little warm upstairs at night in the bedroom.

A bit noisy from the road, but that’s to be expected in central Naples! Bring ear plugs!

The room was very big and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing—I couldn’t wait to get down there every morning. And the courtyard was a lovely place to relax with a cocktail at the end of the day. The staff were super attentive and helpful.

The towels could have been plusher, but not a big deal.

The front desk staff was warm, helpful, and welcoming as was the hotel staff who provided service at breakfast. The front desk provided recommendations for walking routes to see the sights nearby as well as dining and gelato recommendations. The courtyard was a great place to relax and enjoy a beverage.

There were high pitched whistling noises we could hear in our room at night, however, not sure of the source and if it was in the hotel or not. Otherwise the room was great.

We booked to stay here last minute and were very impressed with this hotel. We received a free upgrade to a spacious apartment which was a bonus. Everything was tidy and clean. Great location adjacent to Piazza Bellini. Impressed with smooth airport transfer which was arranged quickly (a few minutes) and at a reasonable spot rate (€24). Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The best part of this hotel is the beautiful courtyard where you can relax, have breakfast or a snack and a drink.

Rooms are sparse… prefer real glasses and tea cups in the rooms instead of paper.

The young woman receptionist was always pleasant and helpful, and after our checkout she excelled when my taxi left my wife and me at the airport without my backpack which was still on the backseat. We got a taxi back to the hotel where she called the taxi office and retrieved the bag from the taxi driver who returned it to the hotel. Seriously delayed by this point she ordered a new taxi for us and back we went to the airport where we were just in time to catch our plane. I cannot recommend her highly enough for her efficient response and also the hotel's reliable taxi service.

Very walkable location, staff was beyond friendly and accommodating with assistance for anything we needed. Apartment room was very spacious and clean! Breakfast was delicious and lots of options. Would highly recommend staying at this property!

Fantastic breakfast

The location is excellent - close to the metro, museum, duomo and so on. You can walk to many places from here. The area looks a bit seedy, lots of graffiti, but as far as I saw all of Naples looks like that. The breakfast was very good - a good choice of fresh food each day. The recption staff were helpful in recommending restaurants around the area. There is a nice courtyard where you can sit at breakfast, and have drinks, lunch, etc.

The shower could have been cleaner, but it wasn't a big deal.

The location was perfect. Breakfast in the courtyard was nice, with a good selection of breakfast items and coffees. Room was clean, and we had a small balcony overlooking the piazza. Hotel staff was were very pleasant!

Great location - close to the metro (which is so easy to use - just tap on your credit or debit card, but don't forget to tap off at the other end). The breakfast was excellent - and the staff so friendly and helpful. They will also help you to get a taxi for the airport or station for which you will not get ripped off! For a great restaurant nearby (in Piazza Dante) do try Al 53, especially if you like seafood.

Room furniture and bathroom fixtures relatively basic

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The outside area for breakfast was beautiful and felt very relaxed. The location was good - just a short walk from the national archeological museum, metro station and lots of good restaurants and the area around the hotel felt safe to walk in late at night.

We did have a few problems with the air conditioning but it was resolved immediately by staff who were very helpful.

The room, especially the bathroom, must have been renovated in recent years but the furnishing looks a bit old.

It was a brilliant location with a gorgeous courtyard. It was freshly and cheekily decorated, simple but really effective. We had all we needed. Staff were lovely and friendly, really willing to help. The breakfast was gorgeous!

Great location in the historic center of Naples. The room we stayed in was well set up for longer stays, as it has a small kitchen and a lot of functional storage space. The atrium area was a pleasant place to have a drink or just hang out.

The rooms are pretty minimalist and could have used a little more artwork to warm them up.

We only stayed for 1 night because we were getting flight from Naples the following day and so only booked an economy room...still it was clean and functional. The other rooms in the hotel looked lovely. The 2 girls on reception were really friendly and helpful and the location was EXCELLENT!! Right in the heart of the historic centre of Naples. We wish we had booked a longer stay and will definitely be returning to that hotel.. Also we had a few experiences of being over charged by taxis in Naplea but the hotel will ring a taxi for you and there is a clear and standard charge so that helped! There was a great breakfast provided as well.

Excellent location, close to metro and many bars and restaurants. Upgraded to a triple room with extra room which was nice. Nice breakfast with some gluten free options available. Central courtyard was very nice to sit and relax with drink and food options. Would recommend.

The location, staff and accommodations were perfect! It was so wonderful to just walk out your door and everything I wanted was there, from sites, food and a lively atmosphere. The breakfast selection was also impressive and the staff there were so nice.

Lovely courtyard with snacks and spritzes all day which is great for cooling down away from the chaos of Napoli. Rooms were very clean, we had no issues with anything at this property. It is located opposite a lively square that has musicians playing which was a nice vibe. Very close to walk to the essential Napoli pizza street. Great location for a quick visit.

Location was excellent with great views of Naples Bay and Sorrento although wouldn't recommend to anyone that are maybe not as active or elderly as quite a walk into Sorrento although there is a bus service

The Hotel and staff were great although certain parts of the Hotel for example the stairs and halway carpets need a freshening up and rooms could benefit from refit

The location was wonderful. You are right in the middle of the historic district, just a block from the archaeological museum, which was our target for this trip. We also easily walked to the two food tours we booked. The breakfast in the courtyard was super!!
