I was switched to the Hostel at Werksviertel due to renovations -friendly stuff -it was clean -beds are ok -personal locker -individual bed lights

Pillow is not comfortable

The place is Nice, good location to walk to the center, clean, good staffs.

That you need to make the bed and remove the Sheets at the end.

I stayed at Wombat’s Hostel in Munich for a week - longer than I originally planned - and it turned out to be a solid experience overall. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the lounge area was a great place to sit and get some work done during the day. Everything was kept clean with proper daily maintenance, which I really appreciated. A week felt a bit long for a hostel stay, but overall it was comfortable and well managed.

The only real downside for me was the neighborhood. It didn’t feel particularly pleasant - noisy and not the nicest area to walk around, especially in the evenings.

The location, it's only a stone throw away from the Munich central station.

No curtain for every bed. There was bo privacy in bed! Everyone in the room could see your sleeping style!

The location was very convenient, connected to the all major means of transportation. Most of the staff members were extremely helpful. The kitchen was very well equipped and spacious. It was very safe and had a in-house bar.

The room we stayed could have been better ventilated. The common seating space could have been a bit more cleaner.

Amazing location,great bar opens at 2 am,great common area completely worth of money. Definitely stay again when comes to munich 👍👌

The location is near the central station and old town and is walkable, with convenient access to shopping, restaurants, and transport. I was there during Oktoberfest, and it was safe to walk late at night coming from Theresienwiese. There is a place to leave your luggage before check-in and after check-out. The room was of a good size, and it was comfortable. Even staying in an 8-bedroom, you can still have your own space and a bit of privacy. It was also quiet at night as my room was in the inner part of the building. The hostel room was clean, and the staff were attentive and helpful. Lockers in the room are available and big enough to store medium-sized luggage and can be locked using the key card.

There is nowhere to hang towels. On my last night, one guest was able to bring a lady with her to share a bed, which made it uncomfortable for the rest of us, noting there were female guests in the room.

I liked the facilities and the location the most.

The lockers were broken, so I couldn’t leave my luggage feeling safe. Moreover, there was no hair dryer in the rooms, I had to pay to the reception, I wish it was free.

It’s still a hostel when people snore you can’t sleep even the lady’s!

Staff were amazing, I first arrived and saw that some of my roommates were ill and asked for a room change and they got straight tonight. Super nice location and the communal areas spacious and comfy with may people.

Very good location, nice hostel overall

Loud and my room was very dirty due to people getting inside with dirty shoes and walking around in them, hairs everywhere, some of the girls were very inconsiderate and would be loud and turn on the light in the middle of the night when everyone was sleeping. Maybe a rule could be implemented about that.

Check in was smooth but turned out the staff lady gave me the card but didn’t check me in on the system, so I lost the room and was changed (downgraded) from a 4 person room to a 6 person room and smaller:(

Location is convenient. Staff is helpful. Facilities are nicely organized.

Great location. Quite comfy beds. Shower was brilliant.

Whole place was overheated and rooms were so hot. Could only open the windows a Crack and had a lot of noise from the street. Bar never seemed to have a bar tender when I popped down for a drink.

The hostel is very close to the train station, and checking in and out was pretty easy.

It had nothing to do with the place, really. I just think that hostels in general are not for me.

The location was very good. The curtains in the room were very effective in blocking out light and noise from outside, and the electronic lockers were a great feature of this hostel. The kitchen facilities were good.

Lot of loud music and sounds from the road is loud unless u close the windows which prevents lot of air circulation.

Nothing specific. Being a hostel with 8 sharing room, there is bound to be some disturbance.

It was very close to Munich station. Our bathroom was inside the room.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable compared to other hostels ive stayed in and it was very expensive for a hostel

Staff was very friendly and responsive. Bathroom was ok. I like the living space at ground floor and a locker with room card detect was awesome because i do not need to use my own lock.

I was aware to put on and off the bed sheet and everything my own but when it comes to the moment, just thinking it would be great if it can be done by hostel as I used up all my stamina to travel all day and just wish to lay on a bed that was ready. My shared room is facing the main street, i cant stand the noise coming from the street but the window of the room have to be open to ensure the air circulate, so much conflict.

There is a seating area in the lobby with charging sockets, there is a kitchen and a bar, a young people's atmosphere. The bed is very comfortable, the place is clean. The room was well lit

The price is a bit high for the value, but that's probably because of Oktoberfest. I didn't get a towel on time. There was no soap in the shower, only by the sink outside the shower doors. People were snoring in the room... They insisted that I wear a bracelet that proves I'm a hotel guest, that's how it is during the festival, they said

The staff are amazingly proficient and on-the-ball. Great group!

Great facilities including kitchen. Lovely staff who reserved me a bottom bunk as I was coming in after midnight due to travel connections. Great location near train station and groceries.

Not to do with the building, but a noisy room mate who rattled plastic bags for over an hour in the morning before everyone got up.

Staff was friendly and polite

Loved the shared space, the fact that you can leave your leftover food for others is very sweet and sustainable. Free lockers are a big plus. Very close to metro, train station and old city

Location is central and very near to Main train station, easy to commute S-Bahn,U-bahn, trams .I walked almost everywhere in the city for sightseeing except to places that is further away, i need to get a day ticket that allows me to use the bus, trams, metro, train etc.. I was in a 6 per female dorm..Spacious enough room to have your bags/ luggage with you. Have charging point in each bed. Alot of Arabic/ African restaurants/ shops nearby.

No bed curtain for privacy. Room is hot in August with only one fan! Window can be slightly open with a gap, not enough air to cool down the room.If open fully, you get noise from outside. Bed mattress could be firmer but i did sleep ok.

The room had a good size, it was comfortable. The locker with incorporated key was a good feature. The kitchen had free tea, and the common space is nice. They have a place to leave the luggage after the check out, that was nice.

The kitchen is open from 7.30am to 22h. If you want to get a glass of water or have a tea outside those hours, you need to buy, that's not good. The area around the main station is a bit shady but it was ok. I don't know if I'd have felt secure if I was out until late at night being a woman alone.

The bathroom was in the room with 6 women so it was convenient. The common area was pretty. There is a bar onsite which is convenient, though I didn't have a chance to go. Good location!

A really, really nice place! It was my first time staying at a hostel, so I was a bit nervous, and everything went smoothly. I did my check in at 12pm, and although they didn't have my room ready yet (which was expected, as check-in is at 2pm), they gave me access to the storage room and a key to go to the toilet! I stayed in a female-only room and the room was spacious, which a big table and two fans. You even get a key to a locker! The beds were really comfortable and they even had a night light! I was lucky enough that everyone in my room was really respectful, so I did not have any problems with noise. The common spaces were really nice (I didn't have time to check them out, but they look like a good spot to meet people) and the personal was top-notch! Special shutout to the lady who speaks Spanish (No pensé en preguntarte el nombre!) who was incredibly nice and professional. The location couldn't have been better, as it's right in front of the main train station, but I can understand why some people may find it unsafe.

The only thing that I think can be fixed is by adding curtains to the bed: in my room we all had to improvise with either towels or clothes. That is everything that can be fixed!

Everything was quite good. I love the attitude of the staff that are ready to help, the cleanliness of the rooms, and the roommates were great too

The location was convenient as it's close to the main station, but it did not feel completely safe in the evening because of unfriendly-looking people on the streets. It is better to return to the hostel a bit earlier

It is a good, well run, clean hostel.

It's very close to the train station, which is its greatest strength and its greatest weakness. The people on the streets close to the hostel are pretty rough. Luckily, the clientele seemed pretty good.
