We were satisfied with what we have experienced: easy parking on site, walking distance - 15-20 minutes to Marienplatz, coffee machine in the room, comfortable beds, quick check in.

Location

The stuff were very aggressive and rude. The room was so dirty and dusty. The bed sheets were dirty and the floor wasn’t clean. The equipment like cups and coffee machine was unclean as well. They refused to let the housekeeper to clean the room and they just changed the bed sheets with other dirty sheets. I don’t recommend this hotel for any one looking for clean staying room at all.

Location, room size

Very comfortable room for 2 friends sharing - especially happy ac was very good (by American standards). Location was easy for catching public transport and walking to old town. Front desk guys were super nice! Would definitely stay here again when visiting Munich.

Shower door was a bit unwieldy and would have liked separate shampoo and body soap - very happy conditioner provided. Area is what you’d expect near main train station but friend and I felt completely safe.

The staff. Short, abrupt and one staff laughed at me that I asked for a wake up call. I had to disclose I am hard of hearing and therefore needed to ensure I hear an alarm.

The Marc München is in a very convenient location close to the main train station and walkable distance to any of the main sights, and close to shops and restaurants. It has very nice rooms with comfortable beds, and friendly staff.

We got bumped up to a better room than I was expecting since we arrived early. The room was large including the bathroom. The tv in the room allowed for casting from your phone so Netflix was an option. The hotel was also very close to many dining and shopping places. Walkable to the city center.

The room we were in had a mini fridge that didn't work, but we didn't really need it.

Not really a dislike but the area looks a bit shady but we always felt safe walking around both day and night

The location was perfect, only a short walk to the Christmas markets. Raj who works at the reception was so helpful, he made our stay so enjoyable. Our flights home from Munich had been cancelled and he went above and beyond to help us with the accommodation.

The room is spacious

This is barely a 1 star hotel. No housekeeping done properly, no vanity kit provided, shampoo bottle empty most days, no slippers can be provided.

I like this hotel very much. Everything is perfect every time I stay here.

First day it was a bad smell from the bathroom but next day it disappeared, the neighborhood near the hotel does not look safe.

the reception people is very nice and they always smile to people. And the day we arriving is early, but the reception just help to check-in without asking any words. Really appreciated for that. And the room is nice and comfortable . Local is also very good , convenience, near the centre but not noisy.

The room was smelling extremly of perfume used after cleaning. Even keeping the windows open all night, the perfume was still there. Very small room. Difficult parking for wide cars in the underground car park.

This hotel is modern, clean, and very comfortable. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The location near the central train station means that getting to the hotel from the airport is easy. I took the Lufthansa express bus from the airport to the central train station and the hotel was just a few minutes walk from there. I was feeling a bit lazy on the morning that I was departing the hotel and decided to take a taxi to the airport even though I knew it could cost nearly 100 euro. I asked the staff member at the front desk if he could call a taxi for me. He said he could do that but then he asked why I wouldn’t take the Lufthansa bus and he explained to me where to get the bus to the airport. He convinced me that getting the bus was easy (as well as cheaper), so I went ahead and got the Lufthansa express and saved a bunch of euros thanks to the staff member at the front desk! The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the old town. Despite the slightly sketchy location, there are some good restaurants nearby: I ate at the restaurant in the hotel Le Meriden. I also ate at the Italian at the end of the block.

The neighborhood is a little sketchy, BUT the hotel is good value (probably cheaper because of the location).

The hotel is very conveniently located if you are in the city for a few days: it takes just 1h to get to the hotel from the airport. The ammenities are also very good with a very nice bathroom. Also, the staff was very helpful: I got to check-in early and, in the meantime, they let me leave my lugagge at the hotel.

Although the location is very good to move aorund the city and to get to the airport, the area on its own is not very nice: not many cafés, restaurants or bars around to enjoy.

Hotel was average. Not what I expected for the price.

Excellent location by the main train station. Easy to get to Messe Center. Easy walk to city center. Quiet hotel. Room and bathroom was excellent. Did not try the breakfast buffet.

Overall stay was great. Nice, clean room and good facilities.

The location of the hotel was in a part of the city which seemed a bit unsafe. As a solo, female traveller I didn't feel comfortable walking to/from the hotel. Understandably, this is something the hotel can't control. But I think it's worth mentioning.

Amenities were ideal. No issues.

The toilet smell like piss, while is was generally clean, it was not cleaned properly in the cracks so it smelled bad. The towels also smelled a bit weird while they were clean. The main room doors slammed to hard from automatic shutting mechanism and we're therefore very loud. Also some small bags with snacks in a basket in the room were sold for 2€ which is insane. Same with the breakfast which was for 20,5€ and was like a typical hotel breakfast buffet. Definitely not worth it.

Not in a great location neighborhood wise. No slippers or robes in the room. No free bottle of water in the room. My view was of an ugly parking lot

Breakfast and location was great! Walking distance from Central train station, well connected. Can walk to museums and Karlzplatz. Good value. Very clean, warm and comfortable beds. Showers are good pressure and warm. Refill water at lobby much appreciated. Would come again!

Good location right near Bahnhof. Neighborhood maybe a little questionable but was ok since near train station. Was quiet. Check in staff was very nice. Rooms were well kept and clean. Nice large shower with door. Needed attention to a little mold/mildew on rubber strips on shower door bottom. Could use some more hooks. Actually had wash clothes. Beds & pillows were very comfortable. As usual, only one luggage rack for 2 bags. Could have easily accommodated another rack. Coffee maker but no hot water for tea.

The hotel bar closed at midnight on Saturday night - this was most inconvenient and unusual as all other bars in the city stay open until approximately 4-5am

A brief one night stay, and for that it was perfect. The area is a little "interesting", but it is very close to the main rail station so extremely handy! Very close to the centre too. A good hotel.

Located really close to main station and an easy 15 min walk to central areas and tourist attractions. Room was clean and modern. Comfortable bed. Good sound-proofing, even though our room overlooked the street. Friendly staff. I would stay again.

There were no tea / coffee-making facilities provided in the room and the advertised mini-bar was empty. I contacted Reception about the tea/coffee and was provided with a kettle and some milk. The explanation offered was that this facility had been removed during COVID times, and they had not yet replaced them. Hmmm. We bought our own drink and used the mini-bar as a fridge. There was no information provided (either in a folder, or on the TV) as they usually are, about what facilities were available in the hotel(e.g. restaurant, room service, bar opening times etc - the usual things hotels offer). When I was at Reception I hear other guests asking for 'basic' information that could have been set out in the room. These things were a bit puzzling, no major faults.

Stylish, comfortable and close to Central. Generous sized bathroom appreciated.

My short stay at the Marc was very comfortable. Good hotel. Staff were professional and helpful. Location was conveniently close to the central train station, which was great. However the area is super busy. It would be worth finding a more central location away from the busyness of the station if staying for a longer time in Munich.

Quiet, comfortable, clean, pleasant staff, English speaking. Good beds and showers.

Location was close to the bus station but on a sketchy alley with a lot of trash and all up and down the street. We are older and we were not comfortable coming and going at night.
