Very good located in south Mumbai . Very good value for money ! And most importantly very friendly people working there , everyone is very helpful and friendly with a smile .

The hospitality from all the staff at the hotel was impeccable from the start to the end of our stay. I was absolutely amazed how friendly and helpful the staff were and the manner in which we were greeted on every occasion.

There were elements in the room which were broken or damaged which could be fixed to make the stay better.

Club heritage large room - the room was very spacious well organised and clean. Bed was comfortable. Room was in adjacent building and the whole building seemed very new. Very nice lobby and modern lift and modern lighting etc. Location is great, short walk to cst train station and walkable to gateway of india or a short taxi ride. Breakfast was good with decent variety and service was excellent. The staff were amazing and very friendly

The window is not sound proof but our building was not facing the main road so never really had a problem throughout the 4 nights we stayed.

The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help. We really appreciated the free chai. Breakfast was excellent and well prepared. Also, we enjoyed the beautiful street view from the window. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The only minor issue was a bit of mold in the bathroom, and occasionally a slight musty smell when coming back to the room. Other than that, everything was great and we had a wonderful stay.

Everything. The breakfast the staff were phenomenal!!! Omg a breakfast they made my sister's face with her glasses on in her cappuccino and a cat in in my small expresso cup!!! They provided the best service ever on every level!! The food was excellent everyday. Our room was perfect for 2 people. The location was perfect to walk to several major attractions! We loved our stay at Residency hotel Fort!! With sincere appreciation and thanks for making our stay comfortable but also the staff making us feel so welcomed. Staff is super nice. They managed to let us check in well in advance. They took care of everything and we felt taken care of.

Friendly, helpful staff. In particular concierge Rajesh and fun, helpful breakfast servers who always made sure we had enough to eat and drink. Excellent hot water shower and AC worked well in room. Many places to walk in the area as well as places to eat. Overall would recommend.

This our second stay at the Residency Hotel. The location is great, close to restaurants and the Gateway of India. The rooms are clean and a good size. They serve complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. The best thing about the hotel is the staff! They are all so friendly and helpful. Gopal looked after us, as well as the other staff, too many to mention. The breakfast was really good, dosas every morning and a good selection of other things. We will definitely be returning!

Having to leave!

The hotel is in a fantastic location near major attractions and the new metro line. My room was clean, modern and comfortable, and it was located in a separate building from the main reception which made it lovely and peaceful. The air conditioning was among the best I've had in a hotel, cooling the whole room while barely making a sound. Breakfast was delicious, especially the eggs cooked to order. Pretty much a perfect stay.

The area that breakfast was served in was too small, making it a bit busy and chaotic, and meaning you sometimes have to wait for a table or sit next to strangers. The hotel is also on the expensive side compared to similar places I've stayed in India.

Exceptionally attentive staff….great breakfast with western and Indian choices. Room was snug but very efficient and comfortable bed and linens. Rooms face a side street and it was quiet and calm.

Great staff from reception to housekeeping including Kesir, Bullo and Peter in the guest lounge and breakfast room. Always happy, helpful and attentive created a great friendly and welcoming 'home form home' atmosphere. Good size room for a Mumbai where space is at a premium, comfortable bed and good bathroom/ shower facilities. A calm. cool place to retreat to in between forays into the energy of Mumbai. Everything done to make waiting for departure time post check out comfortable. Good free wifi and complimentary tea and coffee.

The location is perfect. A short walk through shady, tree-lined streets to the Gateway of India and other major sights. The staff were incredibly friendly and even held our bags for us from checkout at midday through to our overnight train at 10pm that evening, giving us the whole day to explore. The room was a little small but packed in a lot of amenities like a fridge, tea/coffee, even free toiletries like toothpaste. Breakfast was very good too with made-to-order dosas, waffles, omelette etc.

The room could do with a bit of a revamp. It felt a tad worn and our curtain fell down when we tried to close it on our first evening (the staff did get it fixed very promptly the following morning). That said, for its location, for the brilliant staff, and for the price compared to other hotels in that area of Mumbai, I would definitely recommend it and I would stay here again.

The staff were very attentive and friendly. The hotel motto is, service beyond a smile and we genuinely felt that. Our room was clean, fresh and well tended, with complimentary toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. Tasty breakfast, with plenty of variety. Oh and the complimentary coffee in the spice lounge was strong, rich, and delicious. Location is what attracted us as tourists. Lots of sights within walking and short taxi rides.

The room felt a little small and fittings tired. As this is mentioned in other reviews I was fully prepared. For us it did not detract from a great stay, but it does hold this good hotel experience from being a great one.

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times, and I can confidently say it’s the best in South Mumbai. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms are always spotless, and the metro is conveniently located right next to the hotel. Highly recommended!

The rooms are consistently spotless and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches that make a big difference after a long day. Housekeeping does an excellent job, and everything—from the linens to the overall cleanliness—meets a very high standard. One of the biggest advantages is the location. Having the metro right next to the hotel makes getting around incredibly convenient, whether you’re heading out for sightseeing, business, or dining in other parts of the city. Overall, this hotel delivers an excellent combination of comfort, service, and convenience. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting South Mumbai.

It was in a great location - close to the tourist sites and in an interesting section of Mumbai (Fort). The staff were just fabulous. They couldn’t do enough for us. The breakfast was great as was the tea, coffee and biscuits in the late afternoon (no charge). The hotel gives guests free access to a gym and there’s a laundry next door. Deluxe rooms are not large but perfectly adequate and quiet and located two doors up from the main reception. We didn’t check out a heritage room but were told these are bigger and in the same building as Reception. This hotel really made our time in Mumbai so much more enjoyable.

The card that opened the doors was a bit unpredictable. Otherwise nothing.

The staff were the best we’ve ever had and couldn’t help you enough. Free tea and coffee in the afternoon and nice omelettes for breakfast. We felt very welcome. Comfy bed and nice bathroom. We would definitely come back.

We were given a windowless ground floor room and some of the fixtures were a bit tired. If we returned we would ask for a room with windows.

All staff members were very kind and really tried to help us with everything the we needed. Food was really tasty. Location is very comfortable.

The hotel location is great and the staff were very friendly - Oan Singh, Balu, Rajesh, Gopql, Roshan, some of the names k can recall - were courteous and accommodating.

The room size was very small and related comforts require more attention with respect to condition, functionally, wear and tear. Also, for an 8 days total stay, we expected a decent sized room with all amenities functioning and good condition. I would still recommend Residency.

Location was great in the Fort area...walking distance to most heritage spots. The new AQUA metro (Hutatma Chowk station) was a real bonus...40 mins to CST Airport T2...and only INR 70..a bargain tbh. I could get from Andheri West in the north of the city to Hutatma Chowk in about 1 hr and 10 mins all in A/C comfort... The staff were so friendly and there were many returning guests stating there..which is a testament to the level of service and comfort offered. My room in the Heritage Wing was a good size and met my needs totally...overlooked the street but not excessively noisy. I asked for a change from the one booked which was readily done with no fuss. Breakfast sections were good ...either Indian or Western options... Eating out options were readily available...

. We had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were compact yet spotless, ideal for a short visit. The location was very convenient, close to all the main attractions we wanted to see. Breakfast each morning was excellent, offering a good variety to suit different tastes. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended.

Everything was great.

Great hotel in the center of Mumbai fort. Great position to visit all the main monuments of the city, have access to great restaurants, shops and cafes. Just at few minutes walking distance there is a new metro line that is connecting to the airport and many city areas. The staff here is excellent, it is true that at the end of the trip they become like your friends! The rooms were beautiful, either all the comforts and very clean. The staff of the hotel helped us with so many things, call taxis, change money, have dinner in the room and other services. We loved the breakfast, both continental and local. Do not miss the great artistic cappuccino! We absolutely suggest you to book this hotel!
