The Breakfast was good

The staff were exceptional. Breakfast was great and it is near to the new metro which goes to the airport.

Water in the room was not refreshed.

This was our second stay at this hotel and we loved it. Interestingly, though we had the smaller heritage room in contrast the large heritage room for our first stay, honestly, I preferred the smaller room, as it was better laid out. Yes, it was compact, but we had space for everything, the bathroom was quite big and there is a lounge room close by to use if you wanted more space. The beds were comparably comfortable, the wardrobe is big and all the usual amenities were provided. We loved the delicous, plentiful breakfasts and the fact that breakfast was available reasonably early, so we could eat then get to tours we had booked. The staff, including in the breakfast room were all very friendly, helpful and professional. The close proximity of this hotel to the new metro and to CSMT, made it very easy to explore Mumbai and to come and go from the airport. It's also walking distance from some of the best sights in Mumbai, and just walking around Fort is a treat in itself, given the mix of colonial and modern architexture.

Wonderful staff, from reception to housekeeping to breakfast area. The room was very clean and comfortable. We were near lots of restaurants and cafes. The hotel had options for tours which we took advantage of. Breakfast was a delight.

Reviews are true. The staff at this hotel are super nice and will go the extra mile for you. Very nice atmosphere. Rooms are nice and clean, but the window wasn't much. I personally like this location; less touristy than further towards Gate of India. Walking distance to a lot of attractions. Would definitely stay again

There’s nothing I dislike more than.

Great location from which to explore Mumbai by foot, taxi or there is a metro close by. We stayed three nights and each day had a delicious breakfast and were helped in anyway needed by the really approachable and friendly staff. We would recommend this hotel as a convenient base in Fort area if staying in Mumbai.

At the time of our stay there was scaffolding outside our window so did not have a clear view outside.

All the staff, from people who greeted as at the entrance to hosting us for afternoon tea and breakfast, everyone was very helpful and kind. Special thanks to the team who helped fix our bag! The service was over and beyond our expectation. We eould definitely book again.

The room was clean but a bit outdated. Still we had everything we needed for a short stay.

I quite liked my stay here. It was my first trip to India and Mumbai can be somewhat intense and stressful. But this place offered a central location and a calm place to pull back to and relax. The rooms aren't huge but definitely sufficient and not cramped. It's also very clean and the food is good. The concierge Rajesh was particularly helpful and saw to everything I needed!

I don't really have anything negative to say. The place really met my expectations. And if there were any issues, the staff was keen to do what they can to correct the situation.

The hotel staff are all very professional and friendly. The room was clean. Breakfast was fine and you can have eggs made fresh for you. There are plenty of shops for anything you need a few minutes walk away - supermarket, pharmacy, clothes shops.

The staff are fantastic; so helpful, attentive and kind. The location is perfect, and well positioned to explore all the sights. We loved the afternoon chai and the freshly cooked breakfast. Nothing was a problem. Hotel well placed for an easy metro ride to the airport.

The staff were so lovely! very very accommodating and welcoming, we immediately felt comfortable, especially after a really long flight. was really helpful having a nice hearty breakfast before we started the day. Everything seemed fairly walkable from where we were, but we only stayed a night

Nothing really of note - only thing I would say was our room was a bit cold and we couldn't turn the AC off.. but the beds were so comfortable and we got an upgrade so genuinely wasn't bad at all!

Staff were extremely friendly and had amazing customer service! Breakfast was absolutely phenomenal as well (great dosa and other options). Room was comfortable and was dark and quiet (perfect for a good nights sleep) - although we were in the building about 10 metres away from the main hotel.

Everything was great - if I had to be picky, the AC wasn't overly cold.

The hotel is located in the Fort area, and perfect for sightseeing. Hotel staffs are very friendly. Room is clean and has 24hour hot water shower.

Location! Plus as a bonus, there’s the new wonderful Aqua line metro running from T1 or T2 at the Airport, direct to within a 5 minute walk of the hotel! Comfy but very compact clean quiet rooms and amazingly friendly staff.

The staff were top class, so welcoming, friendly and funny. They made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to make us comfortable and happy.

The breakfast area wasn’t quite big enough. We had to wait a little while for a table if we didn’t go down early enough.

From the moment we walked in, we felt warmly welcomed. The room was a bit small, but was modern and clean. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. We particularly loved the location and the ability to drop things off or rest for a few minutes as we sorted out our plans.

The warmth of welcome is excellent as is the ongoing support that is afforded guests for the duration of the stay. Nothing is too much trouble for this team. Our room was very comfortable and regularly cleaned.

Nothing to mention other than prospective should be aware there are separate buildings. We were in the ‘heritage’ section. We liked it despite the separate entrance because it offered a quiet location. It did men a short walk to breakfast along the street. Again - no issue for us.

Two things that are outstanding for this hotel are its location and its staff. The Fort area is a great place to base yourself in for a Mumbai stay, but with the arrival of the new metro aqua line the Residency has a metro stop outside with a clean, cheap direct connection to both airport terminals, the central train station and the Marine Drive and Gateway highlights. The metro is so new that Google and TripAdvisor still don't mention it! The other plus for the hotel is the staff, genuinely nice and helpful they truly make you welcome. Add on complimentary tea and coffee in the hotel lounge, excellent breakfast, and there's nothing more you should need.

Our room (102) was a bit small, but the ensuite was large by comparison.

Although it was clean overall, some of the facilities would be good to be renovated (e.g., bathroom) as they seem a bit old/rusty

The structure is very central, clean and welcoming, plus the staff has been very helful, we hae been helped by congierge Rajesh who has been incredibly nice and professional. The room is spacious, clean and with all conforts. I would go back again.

Staff were exceptional. Short 5 min uber ride to Gateway of India. 2 mins walk to Victoria Main Train station ( I wanted to get the night pics of the station lit up ). Rooms was very clean, comfortable bed, great shower. WiFi was good. Breakfast was great - also a big thankyou to Peter and Balu who were the best breakfast hosts and ensured I was very well looked after. The air con is great here too - building was a colonial fire station now converted to a hotel so is of great historical interest too. I had no issue with noise - a great comfortable stay.
