A great place to unwind at the end of the day. Staff extremely friendly, helpful, welcoming, eager to please and attentive to your needs. They lived up to the motto Come as a guest, Leave as friend.

The location was excellent, close to shops, restaurants, and attractions, and just a short walk from the newly opened Metro/Subway Station. Taxis and buses were easily accessible, making it very convenient to get around. The staff were the true highlight of my stay. From the friendly and efficient reception team to the ever-helpful Concierge Rajesh, everyone went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Housekeeping was impeccable, and the restaurant staff stood out for their cheerful and attentive service. I upgraded myself to the Suite room and it was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with every detail well taken care of. The bathroom was spotless, with good-quality toiletries and consistent hot water. I also appreciated the strong and stable Wi-Fi, efficient laundry service, and thoughtful touches like fresh newspapers and complimentary evening tea/coffee. The relaxation lounge with a foot massage machine was an unexpected delight after long days out. Breakfast was hearty with both Indian and continental options. waffles and pancakes were a nice touch! Overall, the experience reflected genuine hospitality and attention to detail.

There’s little to fault, honestly. While it is an older property and some rooms may feel a bit compact, the exceptional staff, ideal location, and overall comfort easily outweigh this. I’d recommend checking with the hotel in advance for any specific preferences or queries. They’re always responsive and helpful, ensuring there are no surprises upon arrival.

Really nicely presented in a great location to walk to almost anywhere quite easily. Staff were happy attentive and gracious and very much made the stay perfect Back rooms are amazingly quiet from the city noise

The staff and the hospitality shown were extraordinary! The room was a bit small but it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast spread and the food was very good! The receptionists were also very attentive and catered to the requests made very swiftly.

The deluxe room seemed to be a bit cramped.

Location is great walking distance to Saryu riverside, Ram ki Padi, Shri Nageshwar Nath and Ram temple, Hanuman temple, Staff and managers are friendly and very helpful.

The 3 stars is wrong by international standards, this is miss leading. The road in front of the hotel is not good.

The facility needs a bit of renovation. But other than that, it was perfect.

Everything was perfect. We arrived at the hotel tired and too early, and were greeted wonderfully at reception, offering us a room ahead of schedule. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. The breakfast was good, and the service from all the hotel staff was excellent. The location is a 10-minute walk from Victoria Station. We strongly recommend the hotel.

Whole hotel is really clean and the service is amazing but could use renovation as furniture etc is worn out. The location is superb and staff will go above and beyond. We asked where to get an umbrella and even offered to come with us to buy it!! Breakfast is really, really good. Besides everything offered (fruit,sausages, sweet…) they also cook omelettes, dosa, etc. and they have the best barista. What an amazing coffee!!!

The hotel is conveniently situated in the Fort district, 15 minutes stroll from VT railway station. Similarly, a short walk from all the Old Bombay landmarks, Prince Of Wales Museum, Gateway Of India etc. The standout feature of this hotel for us was the staff. We stayed 4 days and as the sign in the lobby says: “ Come as a guest- leave as a friend “. Sounds cheesy but that’s what happened. One last thing: the breakfast is sensational !

Good and safe location. Breakfast spread was good. The tea was excellent. The staff was friendly. Unlike staff of other hotels, these people are genuine. They give advice when asked and are always eager to help. Special thanks to Rajesh for his kind assistance. A quick salute to Peter, who welcomed us for breakfast every morning.

The room was tiny with two tiny beds, I could hardly move. The mattress was not comfortable. The towels had stains. No face towels were provided, just bathing towels. The room was not cleaned properly everyday. There was a stinky carpet in the room, I had to take the carpet out in the middle of the night to be able to sleep. Only basic toiletries were provided - body wash, shampoo, hair conditioner, and toothbrush. In the past, they used to provide shower caps, cotton buds, etc.

More towels and bottles of water considering the price point would help. Foot mats and towel were missing in the top level Club Heritage Large rooms that are 8K+ per night.

The Concierge Rajesh handled every request warmth, professional and with incredible efficiency. I always felt completely looked after and valued. Location at Fort is excellent. Middle of DN Road, between CSMT and Flora Fountain. Many restaurants, cafes, even a 7-11 within walking distance. Breakfast served between 7am to 11am, basic but entirely adequate to start the day. Complimentary tea and coffee served between 4pm to 6pm. Helpful staff always present, very courteous and attentive. Laundry just next door at INR 65 per piece and delivered to the room. Room and bathroom is clean, hygienic, and comfortable.

The deluxe double room in the heritage wing is smaller than expected. Had to be creative with utilizing floorspace for walkability while luggage was open. Furniture doors and drawers don't close properly due to age and humidity. Slight musty smell but bearable.

i wanted more explanation when breakfast. people around me got much more care but i was feeling kind of ignored probably because i was one japanese.

We were impressed with the amazing staff, the location and the excellent breakfast.

We loved the breakfast, with full buffet and freshly cooked dosa or eggs. The staff were amazing. The location excellent (recommend over staying in Colaba which was too busy and chaotic). Very central to everything. Highly recommended. Daily room cleaning and water too!

The standard room was quite small, one side of the bed was a bit saggy. But overall excellent 👌

The Hotel was friendl and helped to early check in because of early arrival from my flight. They understood my situation and and willing to give me a comfortable room. Help me to arrange taxi on the day I check out back to flight with reasonable fare. The breakfast was awesome and I had good delicous foods before starting my day.. They even have massages and relaxation lounge if you need.

A truly exceptional stay with unmatched hospitality. Every member of the team from the front desk to the housekeeping went beyond and above to make our stay memorable. It was my second visit and i am already looking forward coming back. Thank you Kesar, Rajesh, Ballu, Roshan and all team members. I strongly recommend this hotel. Breakfast was very enjoyable and the staff were extremely helpful.

High standard room, was in a location that you could walk around. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and room service food was of good quality. The staff couldn’t enough to help.

Not that it worried us too much, but the TV didn’t work nor the phone, and properly. But I’m sure they would have fixed it if we mentioned it.

Location, Cleanliness, courtesy of staff, they are providing many things for free, for which other are charging. Their slogan “Come as a Guest and Go as a Friend” i will say that I am going as a fan for them. They have allowed us early check in for about 6 hrs early, they also allowed us breakfast on the day of check in and as we were leaving very early they provided us tea and coffee with cookies at 0400 hrs in the morning

I had such a lovely stay at this delightfully and professionally run hotel. The essence of the Residency Hotel is how it is Guest Centered and how the Staff are always focused on giving their guests an experience that is kind, caring and how it allows their guests to enjoy Mumbai whilst knowing they have a warm and safe bed to return to in the evening. I arrived on the morning of Independence Day in India and it was pouring rain but the staff ordered me a Taxi down to the Gateway of India and ensured that I paid the standard taxi fare. They also held upan umbrella for me so that I did not get wet. They changed currency for me and gave me a very good Exchange Rate and when I checked out early on the morning of August 17th they made a Breakfast for me to enjoy at Mumbai Airport before I passed Security. It was the small details that gave this Hotel truly a 5* Rating. I cannot speak highly enough of the Residency Hotel and their Charming Staff.

Honestly the best thing about this hotel is the staff. Everyone was so nice and truly gentle with us. I really felt like i’m at home! The breakfast was super delicious, the rooms were cleaned everyday, the location is perfect (10mins from Gate of India). I really recommend the hotel, we stayed 6 nights and i already missed this place! I want to thank specifically to Rajesh and the guy from the second building who helped us with everything!

This is a great city hotel and a good base from which to explore Mumbai. Having had a bad hotel experience in Delhi, we were nervous about this stay, but had no need to be. There are so many staff, all welcoming, friendly and helpful. We had 2 rooms, the deluxe twin, was a bit tired, but the club double was excellent. The breakfast was superb, the best we have had in India, so much choice and really fresh. Would definitely recommend the dosa. I loved the additional extras such as the tea and biscuits offered in the afternoon, the drink and snack on arrival and the massage chair! Also great information on tours and areas of Mumbai available in the reception.

Big TV. The hotel accept payment by cash or card. You can also exchange USD in the hotel. Good exchange rate. Fresh English newspapers every day. 24x7 reception desk. Room food service. You can book Mumbai sightseeng car-tour in the hotel as well or airport meeting/trasfer service.

The hotel's location was ideal, close to shops, restaurants, and attractions. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from.

Fabulous staff, great location, good breakfast and clean/regularly maintained facilities. It is an older hotel but it's got that extra charm of a well run institution and exceptional hospitality. I particularly enjoyed walking over to their sister hotel to use their gym and easy walk to Marine Drive.

The rooms/fixtures are a little older, and worn. It can get a bit noisy as sounds carry through the hallways easily. That said it wasn't bad and I slept pretty well with some ear plugs.

The location is great, and the rooms are fine, good shower with pressure. Breakfast is also good with cooked eggs at the moment. But undoubtedly what makes the day is the staff, they are marvelous. Well educated, knowledgeable, professional and amiable. Always ready to help. I can name Peter, but the two shifts at reception they are all wonderful. The people who clean the rooms are always there to help. A memorable experience that reminds you that people make the difference and in this hotel, that is definitely true. Highly recommendable

Absolutely good location with a nice persian restaurant opposite it. CLose to VT and Elphinstone circle, colaba causeway 10 mins by taxi. Hotel facilities are good. Only buffet breakfast is available
