Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Comfortable bed. Good size room with a a good desk for working. Nice bathroom. Good room service. Good food and drink options with the Restaurant and the Pub and cake counter on the ground floor. I had a city view room - still quiet and pleasant.

Swimming Pool a nice feature. But would opt to use if not on view to one and all. Otherwise nothing to dislike.

Location of the hotel is fantastic. If I am with family on holiday in Mumbai always prefer to stay at the property. Rooms are good. Breakfast is excellent.

The location, cleanliness, breakfast

I was very disappointed that in a room sold for 3adults there was only a standard-size double bed and ,after our insistence, a foldable metal frame with a very hard surface and a 3inch thick foam so -called mattress was provided as “bed” for the third adult.It was most uncomfortable.It caused back ache to me.Such a room should never be advertised as a room for 3adults unless a real 3rd -person bed is provided.

The Adjacent rooms we requested for were given and the food we ordered was also good.Location gets full marks.

Inspite of a pre-booking the second room was given after a waiting period of one hour.The room was clean but the washroom dustbin was not cleared and on calling the staff twice also it was not cleared till the moment we left(that is the next morning).

We booked the least expensive room in the room choices online. We expected it to be better. it is very small for the price. If we would come again, we would upgrade.

The architecture of the building was lovely in the foyer and the rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast had a great selection with lovely sea views from the restaurant. The hotel bar on the ground floor is charming and the rooftop bar and pool area is the perfect spot for the sunset.

The decor was ever so slightly tired in the rooms, but it didn't bother us. Same goes for the roof top. It's not fancy but it's charming and a lovely spot to chill above the hussle and bussle of Mumbai.

roof top pool was closed for events and when open didn't feel inviting and little dated. I had issue with the on-site currency exchange and the front desk staff weren't able to assist even though it mentions they have currency exchange as a facility.

The hotel has not been very recently renovated and is not modern but this is not necessarily a bad thing just a comment.

The bed was amazingly confortable!!! The staff really attentive and helpfull, always ready to help you. Breakfast super nice and had a lot of choices. The location was very nice in front of Marine Drive so it wasnt that heactic. Overall it was 10/10 and will highly recommend it.

Property was clean, comfortable and interesting, the architecture and layout. Rooms large with all you need. Rooftop pool clean and a good temperature and the view stretches for miles in all directions. A large projector at the rooftop was great to watch ladies England v India cricket. Food hot and good.

Noise from the street when relaxing on rooftop but this cannot be helped due to the hotels location.

Hotel is lovely with great character. Excellent location in Colaba. Breakfast is fantastic and rooms good size, clean and had everything we needed.

Food and drink in hotel is silly expensive. Old English pub on site just empty with no atmosphere likely due to high prices. Allamanda roof terrace with pool being largely advertised but there is just nothing there. Pool was lovely but only 3 sunbeds, no parasols for shelter and staff started noisily dragging tables around at 4pm to set up evening eating area. Bar on roof was never open. Such a shame as it could be an amazing roof top area. Asked 2 young girls on reception if they could check us into our flight home and print boarding passes as these are required to enter Indian airports. They were most unhelpful and said ‘ oh no we can’t help with that’ . Luckily a slightly older lady appeared and took over and sorted for us.
