Rodas Ecotel Hotel, Mumbai

Excellent place for my Mumbai stays. Staff are courteous and professional. At the front desk, Mithul, Vikas, Naveed ensured a comfortable home away from home stay. Restaurant food is great and so is the restaurant staff, especially Sagar and Suraj. Location is also very convenient. You can walk to the Galleria mall or the centre street for food/shopping. Fabindia is across the hotel.
Overall, it is a great place to stay!

Great location in the heart of Powai.

Bit dated for the price…

I loved the location .

I didn’t like how cut throat and rude the staff were . I’m talking about this one lady and gentleman at the reception . They were out right rude and wouldn’t oblige for any of our requests . It almost felt dominating to us like we were in a hostel and not a leisurely hotel stay.

It was a nice part of Mumbai with shops and good restaurants to walk to. Calming Powai Lake was walking distance. The restaurant on 2nd floor was lovely I tried Indian Zinfandel wine which was lovely pity they don't sell it in the airport. Very nice, helpful staff. Room was oasis of calm and gave me the much needed sleep prior to my longhaul back to London.

The service in restaurant was a bit slack waiters more interested in chatting to themselves than being attentive to patrons needs.

The staff was some what polite.

The breakfast was so bad. It's like they don't even know how to make a proper sambar. Please avoid eating here.

Staff was friendly and prompt. Property was clean and the location was great. Good walking, shopping, and restaurants nearby. Room size was good.

the room had a funny smell. It hit you as you walked into the room from the hallway. Not an awful smell - I was able to ignore it - but not pleasant. Perhaps the carpet is holding on to odors?

Very good location, perfect. It was nice that we could check in a bit earlier and check out a bit later.

Breakfast was not too good. Mold in the bathroom.

The first room that was allocated was not upto standards. On complaining, was changed to a different room which was good. Staff helpful.

Calls in the morning about laundry and cleaning the room were a bit irritating. The room faced the road and the constant honking outside could be avoided with thicker insulating glass, I suppose. One time, I asked for an umbrella and was given a mangled one which they apologised later but was not really much help then.

Spotless clean, calm, great ambience and vibe. Comfortable bed and pillows, spacious room.

While I reached Rodas for checking in the person at the reception informed me that due to maintenance works the room I booked was not available. However they immediately transferred me to the 5 star Meluha hotel which is right next to Rodas and belonging to the same group at the same price.

It is a very convenient business hotel. The hotel has good facilities and a very good breakfast.

The taxi to the airport proposed by the hotel is too pricy.

Communication prior to arrival was nil. I had some questions and never received answer but once I arrived it was great. My room was clean after I switched rooms. The first room was completely unattended to since the last visitor. Nothing had been cleaned so I think this was just a mistake and I was given wrong room. More toilet paper and fix the showers so the water doesn’t go everywhere haha. Oh and needs some washcloths too!

Room service slow - one request to help with the TV went unanswered. Getting in touch with the hotel also not easy.

The lack of a reception area for waiting and perhaps an informal drink is a problem.

Rodas is a convenient choice due to its proximity to the airport, making late check-ins stress-free with just a 30-minute drive. The concierge staff ensured a smooth check-in process.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and offered a sense of safety and security that's particularly comforting for international travellers. The morning breakfast was excellent, and staff were very helpful and attentive.

The cramped check-in area to accommodate more than two travellers would significantly enhance the arrival experience. Upgrading the toilet next to the reception would better suit the needs of overseas travellers, especially those with children.

Additionally, introducing a broader selection of Western breakfast options would cater to a wider range of tastes and improve the breakfast experience.

The location is great with everything you may need very close.The rooms are adequately sized for a couple. It had all the essential requirements in a room.

Breakfast options were limited for the cost of the property. The service level can be better. The air conditioning in the room was non functional inspite of maintenance.The rooms had stains which dint bother much but visually not great.

Breakfast was very nice, lots of varities from indian to english. Friendly staff.

Our stay at Rodas Ecotel was average. Plus points were the hotel's Central location at Hiranandani, room size and the room view. Buffet breakfast & dinner was of good quality

Negatives - WiFi was poor / Night staff response was hardly available / Though we were told food order is 24*7 with limited menu - v v reluctant to help.
For the cost that was charged - not acceptable
