Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai

Excellent facilities and food.

Pool and spa need a bit of renovation. Also at peak times, they need more staff to support specially at buffet area

Good room size, comfortable bed. Bathroom was good and clean. Wide variety of food.

I expected the food quality to be better for a Grand Hyatt. The quality was not to standard to other Grand Hyatt establishments in other locations

Very old property and not tat great ambiance in rooms as well as restaurants. Rooms are small as compared to other properties in Mumbai

The room was spacious, bed was very comfortable and the pool was good.

All was good. Staff was very responsive but a bit too much at time.

served my purpose for work ....have stayed here before. felt service levels were not what i had experienced previously. hotel is too busy - too many people moving around - valuing hotel guests bit neglected i felt.

Breakfast spread was vast and delicious. Loved the hospitality extended by the staff. Very courteous and helpful. Although the area was full of guest but not even once we felt lack of food or service. Super impressive how they treat each of their customer with utmost care and respect. Never experienced such services at any other hotel so far. Front Office being bit exception but not bad either. Housekeeping phone was not always attended to promptly. we had to call several times to get through.

Not happy with room that we were provided as view from window was quite dull. We requested multiple times to change the room with better view but front desk couldn't help.

Breakfast it was very good Room was no smoking i think a lot of people are smoking needs to change the rules , and unfortunately i have found a lice on my pillow Dinner . i haven't try it ,

Stay was comfortable and location was great near BKC.

There was cockroach in my room on second day. I shared the picture to staff and talked with front desk as well. Not expected from 5 star property like Grand Hyatt. Further, one front desk staff was arguing with me for payment for food I ordered in room. I was explaining him that I already paid my room rent and also gave Rs 10,000 advance. Still he was arguing and very aggressive in approach . Finally after 5-10 minutes of talk he understood what I was saying. This was not good experience

The hotel felt a little tired. Bathroom design where the shower had no door was very strange

The bed and pillows were too soft. Maybe something more firm that will not hurt back and neck will be good. Probably they can ask for guest preference at the time of checkin.

Wish there are doorman to open the big heavy glass doors of entrance and exit of hotel. Very important note

The room should have had a weighing scale and refreshments in the room refrigerator. There was some noise from the top floors due to some construction activity

The pool was the best thing for me and my family. The temperature was ideal .They offered free upgrade which was very useful for my family.The breakfast was great.

The taste and portion size of food didn't deserve the price tag . Five stars usually give a generous portion with impeccable taste. They didn't know how/what a Spanish omelette is.

The location is central and easily accessible. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast has a great spread fresh, tasty, healthy options.

I booked 2 rooms that specified balconies, since these are such a rarity in Mumbai. But the hotel reception told me this was a 'problem on booking.com' and that the bookings were for rooms without balconies. They finally allocated one room with a patio since there were no balcony rooms available, but we had to adjust to a room without a balcony in the second room. We went through this entire discussion again when I extended our bookings by a day. It was extremely frustrating to deal with this broken communication between the hotel and booking.com in the middle of a hectic work trip!

The room was clean and comfortable. The washroom was neat. The location was convenient. The Staff was friendly and helpful. The stay was peaceful.

The safety locker in my room was not working. I had to call to reception multiple times to get it rectified.

There is a variety of food choice, it's a rich breakfast. Our room was spacious and the bed is also comfort for a good sleep

i would suggest to have one more door between the shower room and washbasin otherwise the bathroom is completed wet and slippery after shower

Check in staff were rude, non responsive. I waited 10 minutes to check in after a long journey. Then 2 staff arrived at the desk and started serving other guests that came after me! I had to approach both and complain. I requested to speak to the front desk manager. They promised they would call me in the room to discuss my complaint. That did not happen. Whist I was gone, they entered my room and left an apology post card on the desk with a fruit bowl. Not what I asked for!

The quality of the room was very good. The dinner ordered was very nice.

There was some noise upstairs due to some construction and coffee maker was not working properly however the kettle worked fine.
