Abode Bombay Hotel, Mumbai

Everything was incredible! The staff were very kind and helpful, the room was lovely and spacious with lots of light. The staff also organised a complimentary meditation session during our stay which we thoroughly enjoyed and if we returned we would pay for another session! We loved the additional touches such as the very helpful pamphlets in the room, the bathroom amenities and the laundry service was reasonable. The location was also great for access to food and the museum and there is a pet store below that has some very cute cats who love pats. We will stay again when we return to Mumbai.

Our room was right on the road which meant we got quite a bit of traffic noise at night however the hotel helpfully provided earplugs and sleep masks so it was no problem at all but keep that in mind if you are a light sleeper (but I don’t think all the rooms would have this problem so maybe ask if it’s important to you).

Excellent accommodation in the best area of ​​Bombay. Main attractions very close and restaurants with delicious food (in kala ghoda). The hotel itself is perfect, the facilities are very good, with conditionar air and good wifi, the cleanliness is impeccable, the breakfast is delicious (especially the masala chai and the omelette) and the service is very good (especially from sadhana, who was very kind and helped us with everything we asked or needed). I would stay at this hotel again and especially recommend it to Western tourists looking for a quiet place to stay.

We loved our stay at Abode Hotel Mumbai, a charming old house with great character. The staff were fantastic, helping us secure cricket tickets for a game in Ahmedabad. Without their help, we wouldn't have made it to the game. Comfortable accommodations and exceptional service made for a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

Staff were relaxed and helpful. I liked the casual interior design and that we felt comfortable to use the lounge area after checking out as we had a late flight. I appreciated the lack of waste - filtered water abundantly available, no plastic amenities and rubbish was separated.

Unfortunately I misplaced my EarPods in the room and they didn’t show up which was a shame.

The location is ideal; most iconic food joints and shopping stores of colaba are at a walkable distance. The staff is really accommodating and overall, it is a no-fuss, comfortable boutique hotel.

Excellent service.. Beautiful and very cosy and peaceful hotel for couple. Special thanks to them who really did their best to adjust our booking when our flight got postpone. Very helpful. Will definetely come again whenever i am in mumbai. Very good location with everything nearby.

It was clean, the staff really helpful and it has a very nice design.

The location is excellent, being steps away from the gateway of India and the Taj Hotel. What really makes this place special is the staff. Ganesh, Nilesh and the entire team couldn’t be more helpful. Furthermore, their tours are great. We did the half day + slum tour and also a street food tour (perfectly safe and hygienic!!) with the guide Vasu. Vasu was excellent, knowledgeable, friendly and had a great sense of humour and really made us feel welcome to Mumbai. I’d recommend Abode Mumbai to anyone!

Very niche and well-maintained property in the heart of Colaba.

Everything was fine about the property, but the suite could have had an electric kettle for tea and coffee.

Great location for first timers. All the staff is friendly and welcoming. Have a great coffee shop, breakfast is good. The room is spacious, toilet facilities are good and bed is very comfortable. Air conditioner works very well. I would stay here again.
