Location and staff.

No restaurant in house.

The staff was friendly, everything was clean and cozy.

Very helpful and friendly staff. I had to get my car early and they had it ready for me. Breakfast is light but very tasty. The location is amazing

The hotel's artwork is incredible., we went on every floor to look at it and even then you'd find pieces you'd missed. Location was excellent...4 minutes walk to Basilica. Staff and limited breakfast were good.

Sadly the air-conditioning in the room dries you out completely but you need to have it on as you can't open the window. At one stage our room was 25 degrees Celsius and we couldn't alter it...it felt stifling but we called management and it was fixed promptly.

We were welcomed warmly by staff who were always ready to help if needed. We loved the quirky nature of the hotel and the wonderful original artworks everywhere, also the 60s and 70s music and great martinis at the bar. When there was a problem in our room (see below answer) we were moved to a corner suite which was lovely. We enjoyed the small scale nature of this great hotel and would choose to stay there again.

Our initial room had a panel covering the insulation and pipes which would not stay affixed to the wall. After the second day, we were offered a different and larger suite which we really appreciated and enjoyed.

There is a bar in lobby area but no bartender. You have ask front desk personnel to find someone to work the bar.

Very comfortable bed and quiet air conditioning. There were sparkles left on the rug from previous, but overall very clean.

The lobby was so noisy.... it was hard to read. We had a friend join us for a drink, and he asked that the music be turned down. But the next day, I was told, No, the owner likes the music to be loud all the time.... we were the only ones lingering in the lobby! The breakfast layout lacked basic toast and other condiments.

Great location. Wonderful staff. Professional politic and warm. Comfortable clean room with charming vintage furniture.

Dining area for breakfast was a bit crowded. There are good coffee shops and bakery close to hotel though.

Breakfast could have been better, very basic- larger range of fruit and availability toast would have been goood.

The location of the hotel was ideal for sightseeing. The hotel staff was pleasant. Although our room was small, it was very comfortable. Breakfast was simple, but delicious.

The cleaning crew removed all the towels and the open bar of soap even though we were staying for several days. Most hotels only replace the towels when requested in order to save water.

Rooms and bathrooms could use an update. The bartender was a bit untrained. The valent broke out Thule roof luggage system when parking our car, but the staff was very helpful in replacing it.

The hotel was clean,staff were friendly. Also the hotel is in a decent area. Plus close to Le Vieux Street where u can stroll in the evening . There are a lot of restaurants , people are doing paintings, selling stuff. Close to Montreal Eye.

Large rooms with high ceilings. Loads of room and artworks a big bonus especially when you have several days to discover and admire them.

Breakfast was limited and the same every day. Even if nothing was cooked it would be easy to include some tomatoes or cheese along with different fruit.

The location was perfect. It was near attractions and there were many different restaurants nearby. It was also close to a Metro station that we used to get around. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The lobby was also interesting with unique objects and paintings.

A little more variety at the breakfast would have been nice but the croissants were very good. The elevator was a bit slow. There is too much to complain about.

Great location in beautiful area. Short walk up steep hill to centre of old town. Junior sweet was very well appointed with bathtub ( a must for my wife) and very comfortable beds. Very good breakfast included very helpful staff.

Great stay for a few days in the Old Port. Funky decor. Lovely staff.

This was a beautiful hotel and the location was perfect for walking around the port. The staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was croissants, yogurt and fruit. Nothing spectacular but that was fine with me.

I stayed in room 112 which was a huge corner suite on the main floor. The noise from outside woke me up, especially around 3 am. when the bars closed down and there were so many sirens. The room was gorgeous but if you stay in this room then bring ear plugs.

Great customer service. Bedding and towels are bright white and in great condition. Room and bathroom clean. Breakfast is continental, amazing croissants. Convenient location, overall amazing interesting hotel.

The only negative is that the bathroom has no place for toiletry bags, and the carpet in rooms are a trap for dirt.

Tjere were two of us, and only one shower cap. The shower cap tore after the first wearing, and was not replaced for the second night.

Location was perfect, right in the old town square. The staff was very warm and helpful! Hotel was beautifully decorated and rooms were large and clean.

We were there in may 2024, but the room was too warm, even thought outside temperature at night was cool and comfortable. The air conditioner thermostat was limited and we could not set it below 24c to make the room cooler. Windows cannot open. There was no way to make the room cooler.
