Roma are small. AC noisy and the bathroom old and uncomfortable . Besides hot the water was not working good every day

The location is truly remarkable, the staff is exceptional, the activities offered are quite outstanding, and the property itself exudes a truly impressive character.

Room service wraps up at 10 pm, which might be a tad early for us night owls. Just thought you should know!

Only usb points were on tv, no charging points in lounge area. Music very loud when we had lunch. Due to the bad weather we didn’t manage to experience the roof top bar and pool area to its full extent or the views so can’t really comment on those, same for the beach.

The location is excellent. Although we had awful weather during our stay so didn't get to enjoy the beach.

The tv channel choice was pretty basic. Staff didn't seem as happy and friendly as our previous visit. Perhaps the bad weather was getting them down too!

Excellent location, comfortable stay. We also used the gym facilities well equipped and clean. Overall well maintained and clean facilities. Roof top pool is a bit small as the weather was bad we didn't use it.

Lounge is quite small to enjoy the live music. Limited food options for vegetarians & vegans.

Fun, friendly, festive hotel. Lovely piano bar. Overall we had a wonderful Christmas at The Betsy.

Pillows seem better days. Couldn’t open windows, room smelt little damp. Pool roof top bar little tired, cocktails not worth the high price.

Everything was fine and there was nothing that I didn’t like

The location was great and the public spaces were really nice. The cookery in the main restaurant was sensational … tho the prices were sky-high.

Too expensive … balcony room looked out onto the inner well of the property. So no view worth sitting out for. The layout of the place was also deranged … if you’re staying on the second floor, you can’t reach it directly from the lobby. You have to walk outside to another door, go up to the third floor, walk along a maze of corridors to another lift, go down to the second floor and then find your way through another maze to your room. How could anyone ever have thought that was an acceptable way to treat guests paying hundreds of dollars a night?

Everything about this hotel is great. As first time travelers to this city you probably get the best location to feel the Miami vibe. Live music in the evenings, welcome drinks, convenient parking, good beach area with free towels, umbrellas and sunbeds. We would really recommend this hotels to others and come back ourselves again.

The only bit that we did not like was the waiting time for breakfast in the outside area (front) of the hotel. After sitting down we got our menus after around 10mins. The so called person in charge of the waiters informed us that there are quite a few orders so it'll take a little to bring food. After sitting another 20mins, got slightly annoyed and went looking for this person to ask if we'll ever get to order. The lady reminded us that she did tell us that, however we can come inside and we would get served straight away as there are plenty of free waiters inside. The weather was good so we stayed outside and decided to wait. Eventually we did get served. Conclusion is that the serving staff could be managed slightly better as not everyone will wait for their morning coffee half an hour, or more.

This is a great classy “artsy” hotel with charm, location, atmosphere, and service.

Perfect in every way for our taste.

Every member of staff we encountered was happy to help and went above and beyond. It was our honeymoon and they upgraded our room, let us check out of our room late and relax by the pool. Everyone staff member we spoke to offered help without being asked. Everything in the hotel was clean and tasteful. Location perfect at quiet end of south beach. Roof top pool was heated and pianist every night in the lobby. Lovely hotel.

Layout initially confusing as across 2 buildings, with long, darkish corridors and multiple lifts that go to some places and not others but reception does give a map and we got used to it. We are grasping at straws as was otherwise lovely.

This is my favourite hotel in Miami. Compared to the bling high rise hotels around Miami beach, Betsy is an oasis of class, elegance and history. It feels like you've stepped back into the 50s. Tasteful comfortable rooms, friendly staff, fantastic location. The food - INCREDIBLE. Plus - the owner is Zimbabwean and runs HIV orphanages there - I'd stay in this hotel for that reason alone! I'll be back!
