Perfect location for exploring Condesa and surrounding area. Staff very nice and enjoyable breakfast every morning.

The host is very helpful and lovely, she tried her best to let us check in a little earlier, and even offer us breakfast on the first day (I don’t think it’s included in the plan, but we arrived very early, so she is kind enough to offer us breakfast). And it’s walkable to the big park which has lots of museums

I wish the door is more sound proof, but not a problem for us

The room was small. The neighbourhood is not quiet so pack earplugs. Also pack an eye mask as the security light outside the door shines into the room at night.

It's a nice, small, secure property, with comfortable beds and a beautiful path with lots of plants. The art deco furniture is beautiful and I'd definitely stay there again. The service was always super-friendly and I've already recommended the place to others.

It would have been nice to have a small refrigerator in the room.

Probably the best bed I’ve ever slept in. We had the suite on the top floor with a private terrace, a very spacious room with the biggest bed ever, felt like sleeping on clouds, absolutely amazing. The staff was really kind and helpful in all ways, the place is so cute, the location was great and the breakfast was amazing too

Nothing not to love about this place

Great location, close to cafes, restaurants and bars. Metro 7 min walk away. Staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good… fresh fruit, cooked breakfast, toast and jam, tea or coffee. Good WiFi I was inside the main house which was a bonus on the first floor.

The bathroom which was separate ( I knew in advance ) was very small. Shower door didn’t close securely which meant the bathroom floor got soaked. Tricky trying to dry yourself in a small space.

The area of the city everything is close by, the decor I know is not for everyone but, I like the character of the house

The location, the staff and it frels more like a home than a hotel. Walmart and ATMs close by, 2 minutes to Parque Mexico and there are cafes and bakeries every corner. Neighborhood is perfect for a stroll.

-- Excellent location, in a safe neighborhood. There are very good restaurants a few blocks away, and there's a nice cafeteria right next to the B&B. -- Good breakfast. -- Nice and helpful staff. -- The bedroom with the terrace is very spacious, and the terrace is super cozy!

-- Since the B&B is in a building with no elevator, the stairs can be a problem for those carrying heavy luggage.

Clean, quiet, central. Very good value. Friendly and helpful hosts. Couldn’t ask for more really.

Very nice and kind staff. Breakfasts were delicious and varied. Property was mostly quiet at night, some traffic in the early morning was noisy.

Sink next to the bed was interesting and kept the spirit of the original construction, I guess, but it wasn't easy to keep the floor and bed dry when using it. A small desk or even a laptop stand would have been great. Comment above spoke of the traffic noise.

We were so, so pleased with our stay at Stella. Our room was cozy, clean, full of light, and had great local art on the walls. The location was perfect-- close to everything we wanted, and in a super walkable neighbourhood full of cute shops and restaurants. Staff were attentive, and the free breakfast was delicious. Couldn't have asked for more.

The spectacular location and super cozy atmosphere

Included breakfast was prepared in the quaint kitchen next to the dining room, the four tables set with cute tablecloths. Charming!

I loved my room and the fact I could get into the dining area to make tea early in the morning and in the evening. Also my pillows were perfect for my neck. And I appreciated I could open my windows to get fresh air. It was also the perfect location, near to restaurants, the park, and other stores.

Would have loved to have someone come in and replenish the water in my room and dump the trash on my second day.

We absolutely loved staying here. Perfect location on quiet, beautiful, tree-lined Avenida Amsterdam in Condesa - easy walking to many areas of interest or to the Chilpancingo subway station. The house is lovely with eclectic decor and not too fancy. Our room (#4) had an amazing private terrace. We also appreciated the huge bathtub after long days of walking and/or getting caught in the rain. The staff were so friendly, and it was so great to have a delicious, home-cooked breakfast every day! We will definitely be coming back!

They cooked a tasty and varied breakfast. The street and neighborhood were lush and beautiful. There were excellent and affordable restaurants and stores nearby.

The shower did not have reliable hot water. We had to move one day to another room.

Oasis setting in a great location. Very walkable to restaurants and public transportation. Safe and secure property. Room was comfortable, shower worked well. Relaxing environment. Breakfast was delicious and changed daily. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Room was teeny tiny, but adequate for one person. The climb up the stairs to the room may be daunting for some.

Breakfast was fantastic, as well as accommodations. Stella exceeded our expectations. The convenient location and tree lined streets make a return definite.

The weather was a bit warm, but that’s not an issue. The evenings cooled the room down quickly.

had a budget single - u get what u pay for - an anex at the back of the villa, room got very hot during the day (few very hot days) - a ventilator would make a lot of difference, shower was not working well

Beautiful building, rooms and furniture

Incredible staff! Very kind and made me feel welcome. The rooms are comfortable and charming, very clean, and a great place to rest after exploring the city. Amazing location! Walking distance from a gorgeous park (on my last morning I spontaneously came across a dance class there, they welcomed me right in), multiple museums, markets, and great places to eat.

There was a minor issue with water for the showers but it was communicated to me effectively and quickly resolved. The staff handled it wonderfully.

Our room was very small

Superb location in La Condesa, very close to lots of great restaurants and bars. Very friendly and helpful staff and good breakfast (the weekday breakfasts were nicer, think the shifts change over the weekend). Room was spacious. Felt very safe behind a locked gate. Lovely terrace area. Would stay again, but would get a different room (see below).

We had the room with the private external bathroom (we knew this when booking) - the bathroom was pretty dirty (we started wearing sandals in the shower) and it didn’t appear to be cleaned much (if at all beyond a quick wipe) during our 4 night stay, it was also very small so difficult to put toiletries anywhere and the shower pressure was awful / squirted water in all directions. The bed was very hard (we can usually sleep anywhere, but particularly noticed this) and quite a few of the lights had blown lightbulbs. There’s also no AC, just a fan which was bearable when we were there in April but if it was much hotter it would have been very difficult to sleep. I probably wouldn’t get this room again.

Our room was tucked away from the street. I liked the courtyard. I liked that they had filtered water available in the room and the lobby/kitchen area. I liked the secured gate. I enjoyed their morning breakfast.

We were in the bottom floor and we could hear a creaking ceiling when are neighbors were walking around. Thin walls. No air conditioner during the heat wave but they had a fan in the room which made it bearable. Hard bed.

It’s a beautiful affordable option in a fashionable area that usually commands a high price

Brilliant place to for our CDMX stay. Loved the location of this b&b which is in a beautiful art deco house. Room 4’s bed is huge and comfortable. The bathroom is was also spacious and the balcony beautiful full of plants. Nice breakfast of fruit, toast and eggs/quesadilla (depending on what the staff makes that morning). Distilled water is also provided. Parque Mexico is very closeby which is great to visit especially at sunset period.

The host lugged my heavy suitcase up a long flight of stairs as well as dragged it back down the next morning at 4:00 am. She was stronger than me and nothing short of a gracious "angel."

Excellent location in the Condesa district. Good value for Mexico City. Kind and helpful staff. Elizabeth, who provided morning breakfast, was especially wonderful. Be sure to check that your “private” bath is located in your room. Ours was down the hall and therefore inconvenient and disappointing.

I stayed a few nights and liked it so much that I gave up a (nonrefundable) night at another hotel later in my trip in order to return to Stella. The staff were nice, the rooms were cute and comfortable, the location is excellent, the breakfasts were good and the price was right.

I couldn't get one of the windows in my room open (though had I asked for help, that might have solved the problem. It wasn't really an issue for me, as there were other windows that did open

The pillows were quite hard and uncomfortable. Small details like a lamp on the nightstand would’ve been the icing on the cake :)

We stayed in Mexico City for the first time and had a perfect start here. Stella Bed & Breakfast is a small and cosy hotel were we felt like home. The area around it (Condesa) felt very safe, you could even go for a run outside in the evening if you felt like it. There is one of the most beautiful parc around the corner, and metro is only a 10 min walk away. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. There was breakfast in the hotel that kept us going till midday and there was a good coffee machine. The room we stayed in was beautiful, with antique furniture and a view into the trees. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

There was nothing we didnt like! Just be aware that as it is a small hotel, you might not find a big crowd to meet new people.

Super location, clean, comfortable and homey, with a delicious breakfast. I loved being able to start the day with yogurt, fruit, and granola.

My only dislike was a lot of slamming of doors as people came and went.
