Beautiful place to stay. The views are great. The staff was great. The bathrooms are wonderful. The drinks at the bar were good.

Breakfast cost extra and it looked like stuff from holiday inn. The bedframes stick out a bit and I ended up hitting my leg. Kids are allowed to run up.and down the halls. Very annoying.

Beautiful decor, excellent location and superb facilities.

Really friendly and helpful staff. The receptionist, Memory, was very sweet and patient. She answered all my questions and informed me about hotel’s facilities. She also told me and helped me sign up for hotel’s breakfast buffet! The room was amazing and abundant in stuff like toiletries, snacks, blankets and even robes The lights in the room can be dimmed to your liking The bathroom was spacious. There was a bathtub with jacuzzi as well as a shower My room had a balcony with rocking chairs By getting a room one also get a free pass for the elevator to the lookout at the top of the pyramid

It takes a while to get to some rooms since you have to walk around the pyramid inside walls The restroom in my room had weak light

The Lookout Restaurant was excellent. Have the bread pudding. You won’t be disappointed!

We didn’t have to leave the hotel…everything was there…we even enjoyed movie night!!!

I didn’t like that we had to pay for breakfast and it wasn’t even good…for the price of the hotel it should’ve been included…OR have someone make omelets for you…only because it was $25.00… we continued our travel, we stayed at another hotel that included free breakfast and made to order omelets.

It’s uniqueness

Our room was a little warm when we first walked into a room. We had brought some bottles of water and some cut up fruit with us and the refrigerator was hot. The door on it would not shut and when we went to go to sleep, one of our beds was missing the duvet, that goes inside of the cover and one of the sinks in the bathroom when you cut on the hot water on water there was water dripping out from under the of the cold side faucet and the light in the makeup mirror did not work, but I was still able to use it. For $500 a night all the rooms should be checked out before signing off that it’s ready your guest. Overall we loved our experience very cool place to stay. Pretty much the only thing my husband complained about was how far it was to walk to our room once we got off the elevator, all of the staff was very pleasant and our room was very clean just had the few issues within our room. We are not drinkers per se. It was nice to have the bar on the same floor as we were staying on. We love the bartender we had Saturday night. She kept us entertained. My Husband got one beer and I really didn’t know what I wanted to order just told her I would like something with Malibu and she said I got your back. I’ll fix you something really good and she did we enjoyed her company very much, and some of the other couples that sat near us as well. We love setting out on the balcony looking into Bass Pros store & watching the elevator going up & down and seeing the fish & . Cool experience riding the elevator to the top of the pyramid we got up there right as the sun was setting the veiw was so beautiful.

It is such an experience this hotel, l loved. The room is big and with a nice balcony etc. Everything was great! Just a little bit too expensive, in my opinion.

It’s very unique! They offer a free shuttle service to downtown area! We loved that & so nice to not have to find a parking space!

Our room was not ready on our arrival. It was 5pm before we were able to check in. You already can’t check in until 4pm & check out is 11am! It did seem that maybe they were short staffed. Which I can understand & would have made a huge difference if they would have offered us something for the inconvenience or at least apologized for the late check in!

Breakfast was good and location of was in good location also. I’m a smoker so it was convenient

The Big Cypress Lodge is a beautiful facility! I love the rustic feel. It is also right in the heart of Memphis, 5 to 10 miles from almost every main attraction! My family and I decided to do a vacation trip to Memphis this year. We had a blast!

The shuttle did not go out as far as I wish that it did, especially since Memphis is such a tourist city.

The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were very friendly.

Room was spacious, bed and pillows were comfortable, shower was great, tub was great, etc. It was expensive, but an experience my family really enjoyed. We felt safe, our vehicle was safe, and the transportation provided downtown was very convenient. (I do wish we hadn’t been doubled up with another group in both our drop off and pickup, though.)

It’s a little pricey. It would be nice to get a discount on shopping and dining while staying there.

Amazing room overlooking the interior of the hotel which is a massive lake of fish and shopping centre. We sat on the rocking chairs outside and watched the fish and people. The shower was the best I have encountered in a long time finally some pressure and space! The room is spacious and comfortable.

Dining options are limited as there always appears to be a queue to get to the lookout which we didn't do as the 30min wait didn't seem worth it. The bar has limited options of food so we had to eat at Wahlburgers twice.

More exits to outside the building would be great. It’s a long walk from room 344 to the exit of the hotel.

Great rooms and staff! Good location and magical views of Memphis!

Food was a bit disappointing. Lookout restaurant very expensive, although big portions, were not great quality. Rolls but no butter, no sweet potato fries ready for early dinner, pasta dish very basic and way over priced. Breakfast was good value, but the whole breakfast experience could be improved on like other hotels. Only disappointing thing in room, TV signal was rubbish!

The property was super clean and felt like you were really in a log cabin.

The pillows are not comfortable.

The room location looking over the Bass Pro Arena. The Room Balcony was really nice..

The TV cable not operating properly. No sanitizing in the workout gym. Sink in the bathroom not draining properly.

Needs upgrade in appliances for the price paid. Specifically, tv didn’t work well, coffee pot, iron and board.

Very comfortable rooms.

Everything was a little too "artificial." Was expecting more of a real outdoor feel. Also our balcony had a view into the Bass Pro Shop (not outside). And everything closed early, including the on-site food & entertainment.

The hotel has been done very nice. The rooms where lean and bed comfortable. We had a large bathroom with shower and large bath. Our balcony looked out onto the shop, over the fish pond.

The hotel bar only service drinks in a plastic cup. When ordering a nice glass of wine there I don't want to drink out of plastic.

Rooms are beautiful and very clean. Bathrooms great, with nice big tub. Complimentary snacks in room a nice bonus and front desk staff were great!

Lookout Restaurant not worth the money and wished they had more food options for hotel guests only.

The atmosphere is amazing

The recepcionist was antipatetic, clearly she does not like her job. It's a pitty because the hotel is fantastic but have this first impression ruins the magic of the place. It's our second time and the first time we had the same unwelcome treatment.

Loved this stay its beautiful with so much to offer one night wasn't enough!

It was very different to your usual hotel but in a very good way amazing views

For the price, the standard of cleanliness should of been higher . Found bits of old bandaid in shower and room and cobwebs hanging from wall furniture and bad tv signal

Loved sitting on the interior balcony! Loved the elevator and the bar up top! Enjoyed the room!

Not sure it was worth the money but it was a great experience. The Whalberger restaurant was slammed and the wait staff wasn’t great.

Breakfast was great at Wahlburgers. People were friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom was great! View from the the top was spectacular.

Food at restaurant at top of pyramid was ok to good. Pricey. Staff was great. TV in room glitched the entire time, possibly signal issues. Noise after shop closed that lasted about 2 hrs.

Meal prices in the lookout restaurant were a lot for what you received. Also for the price we paid for the room it would have been good to have breakfast included. Despite this we loved every single minute.

It is beautifully decorated and has the rustic feel despite your in the middle of town.

I would have liked to have not seen the neon lights during the night, sitting on balcony, listening to the water, the view of trees, cabins, water, fish and neon lights.

Food pricing

The shuttle service was amazing and we really enjoyed the vallet option as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful! It was nice and clean. We felt at home there. We really enjoyed the balcony and the Bass Pro store is awesome!

The walls are very thin. There was a family next to us with little ones and even with our box fan on, we would hear every noise they made. I was going to ask to be moved to another room; it was that bad; but the family checked out the next morning.One night, there was a terrible sewage smell, don't know what that was about. We wish the terrace would open a little sooner than April, we would have thoroughly enjoyed that. We also found it odd that there was no microwave in the room.
