Location and staff are fantastic

Rooms were very basic in comparison to their website and very small.

Very comfortable bed. Room was dark and very quiet. Room was well equipped with a kitchenette and a good sized fridge. Location was perfect for us. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

The room service menu was very expensive.

The room had big cracks in the sink in the bathroom. I found a number of long hairs in the room (not mine) and the front staff seemed a bit confused about me wanting to stay an extra night.

The bed was comfortable, there were plenty of power points and the shower was good.

The bedside lamp didn't work, the fit out was for giants over 6'6' tall. The peep hole was over the top of my head, the benchs were much higher than usual. The overhead cupboards were so high I had to call someone from reception to reach a glass, and a mug and the electric jug to make a cup of coffee. They should supply a stool for shorter people. I travel a lot and have never seen everything so high any where else in the world.

The room was clean and modern. Customer service was excellent, we ended up getting late checkout for free.

Room was small but that was as per the description of the room. There was a little bit of wear and tear on some of the facilities in the room like the sink had a hairline crack in it. View was okay, nothing to really rave about.

Had a table but no chairs, kettle that didn't work and a pod machine with no pods. The finishing on the cabinet with the microwave was missing, bare timber.

Very bad lighting throughout the whole room/ bathroom. Hard for when you’re trying to get ready and do makeup.

I was a little disappointed about a few things. On arrival I had to wait five minutes for someone to come to the desk and I could hear laughing and singing coming from the back office. I had to call out for someone. When the staff member appeared they seemed annoyed I had interrupted them. A few other small issues being that the bath was not very clean on arrival and the shower head was broken.

Great location. Exceptionally friendly reception staff. Great price for a Friday night in Melbourne. Room was well appointed and clean. Shower was lovely. Parking tip - despite reading other reviews advising the hotel carpark is always full, we tried. It was full. Just go directly to the Como Centre carpark opposite the hotel & save the headache.

The sound from the hallway was quite loud in the room. Would be unpleasant if you have neighbours coming and going at odd hours. We would've liked to have spent a bit more time in the hotel bar but it's a terrible set up. The service area of the bar has stools which were all occupied. This made access to the bar to order a drink a very awkward experience.

The Olsen is dated has small rooms needs a face lift and even though the staff are good and changed our room l probably wouldn't stay again because it felt poky in our room.

A great little boutique hotel. Great location on Chapel street close to shops, restaurants and opposite an incredible rooftop bar! Great beds, a little gym and heated pool. Nice downstairs restaurant.

The furnishing in our two bedroom was very sparse.

The comfiest hotel bed I've ever slept in. The facilities were excellent. So clean and spacious. Such great value for money. Staff were very accommodating, check in and check out were easy. The coffee from room service in the morning was great.

Not anything to complain about but there wasn't enough towels for all guests and the room service QR wasn't working. But a quick call to reception fixed that easily. A great hotel.

That it was 5 star quality. That it was located within short distance from many places to have a nice meal or drinks at. Comfortable bed was amazing; low noise; onsite car parking was the reason we actually booked here.

The temperature controls were unable to be changed so we had to open our sliding door to cool down at one stage.
