Loved the decor and it smelt divine. The penthouse suite was really lovely. There were treats and a balloon and a card for my partner. We really appreciated this. Location was perfect.

There were no black out blinds in the suite. So the high rise apartments could see in. There was no milk in the refreshments drawer and we called down but no answer. The continental breakfast was a little disappointing. A speaker of some sort would have been appreciated.

Loud location at night, bin men, youngsters shouting 3-4 am, bars emptying out the glass bottles into the waste bins - room had a sick / damp cloth sort of smell about the room - view of building works, scaffolding.

I could hear the tv in the room next door, and people in the room above mine walking about so there was noise at times. The bistro not open Mon to Weds (when I stayed) and didn’t realise on booking, only a continental breakfast.

Air con didn’t work overnight, and the bathroom looked a little tired in places

Beautiful view the bath was amazing and had the choice of a shower the blinds was good for if you want to block out the light and the lighting can change to what ever mood your in

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in the staff was lovely and I got a free Prosecco with my room

The best rooms, big comfy beds, staff always really friendly on arrival. Have stayed before and would still come back and try another room! Have stayed in both the deluxe suite and duplex room, no complaints for the rooms at all!

I disagree on the large security deposit! Understand you fully stock the bar/ fridge etc but £100 is still super excessive for a deposit on a one night stay on an already expensive room!

Arriving at the rear entrance as taxi couldn’t drive to the front entrance because of bollards.

the location is great a few minutes walk from the station, the bed was really comfortable the shower was great complimentary drink on arrival

there drinks venue had music playing until it closed at 2am and because we were at the front we could here passers-by so bit noisy

You could hear clearly room to room, and a lot of noise due to location which is part and parcel but from early hours there was lots of banging around sounded like housekeeping

What’s happened to the restaurant? It’s dead and shuts before 7 on a Sunday. A few defects in the room. Housekeeping didn’t speak a word of English

We stayed in the cosy room which is well furnished and decorated in a style. Comfy and chill!

The size of the room is quite small. Not so great with the unexpected issue with the room lighting and room card not working, but hotel staff was happy to assist

Fantastic location, great customer service, stylish rooms with boutique hotel feel.

Difficult to fault. A few minor issues with lighting in one of the rooms, but dealt with brilliantly by staff.

Room had a rather large cobweb, hence why marked down ever so slightly. Also, one of the Roman blinds wasn’t working properly

The location, the room was comfortable and unusual in design bed was very comfy the tv is possibly the largest tv ive ever seen in a hotel room. The staff were very freindly and helpful

Room looked good on the whole but designed purely on looks n not practicality. No information or instructions how the lighting works the fact that in order to go to the toilet during the night seemed had to turn all the lights on waking partner in bed. Add to that the lighting control panel on one side of the bed didnt work. You could hardly get into the cupboard next to the bar to get cups out for coffee without crawling on hands and knees as the table next to it was too big for the space, one of the outer windows did not close as there was no latch meaning even with the inner window shut it was still quite drafty and noisy. The bathroom is quite difficult to manouver for someone with a portly figure. The decore though on spec feels very dark and in the corridor to the bathroom I would question if there didnt need to be some form of emegency lighting. As it took us ten minutes on arrival to locate the light switch.

Location, close to center. Balcony, facing the canal = amazing! Bathroom = 5stars - luxurious and my favourite toiletries Loccitane. The gent who checked me in went out of his way to make me feel welcome. I will stay in the same suite again, thank you.

Was a bit noise at night, the carpet could use a deep clean and tissues would be useful.

It was very noisy. You had to pay for everything including water- nothing included.

Perfect location with excellent service and great recommendations from the staff. The room was beautiful and spacious, making for a very comfortable stay. It was a bit pricey, but there was an event in town that weekend, so it’s understandable. I’ll definitely be coming back!

there was some sort of fan outside the window that turned off every 10 minutes. worse night sleep Inhave had at the hotel. little sad really as i’ve stayed a few times now but last night wasn’t good

The stay doesn't justify the price. Like it was okay but it wasn't worth 130 pounds.

The room is very modern and had a big TV, we were offered Prosecco on entry which was a lovely touch and the beds were fairly comfortable.

The location wasn’t the best to walk to places as a lot of the popular restaurants are around a 20 minute walk so we had to get taxis other than this I was pleased

Great location, close to everything. Room and bathroom were clean. Bed and pillows were super-comfortable.

My first room had no safe; receptionist did not believe me. She took about an hour to find another room with a safe, saying initially they were full. Second room was great though and it had a safe. However the room had no real view of anything only scaffolding. Nevertheless I had a good stay and slept well.

Great staff, very nice hotel, large room (No. 15), huge comfy bed and the aircon/heating system was welcomed.

A bit noisy at night but that was to be expected, as we were warned about the rooms being directly above the bar. The mini bar in the room was well stocked but far too expensive, £2.50 for a bag of crisps and £2.00 for a small bottle of water! :-/

Room could have been cleaner. There was something on one of the cushions on the bed. Still haven't received my refundable £100 deposit back and stayed 2 weeks ago.

I liked the upgrade option, the Signature Balcony Room was great, the balcony added a whole new dimension and people watching in Canal Street is so much fun

Like a lot of boutique hotels there wasn’t a usb socket, not that we wanted to be on our phones at all but it would have been nice to have a charged phone in the morning

The position, the comfort of the bed, fantastic shower, friendly, helpful staff, the fact windows opened and I could get fresh air.

I would have liked a shower cap and more than one mini milk.

The room was lovely

Lovely room blending the old industrial with the modern and comfortable. Excellent bed and bathroom facilities and being up in the roof, a very good system of shading and ventilation - I have fly had to use the aircon at all. No issue with noise from the street at all.

A few thinks didn’t work like the room safe and the key console was in a state of disrepair.

The hotel was in a great location. Located in the heart of the gay village . The room was very nice and comfortable. it had a great balcony! It was very well decorated. The staff were nice and the room attendants did a great job.

The bar was not the greatest. In fact, the bartender had no idea how to make a real martini and we had him make it twice and it still wasn't drinkable. not the most friendly guy either. But a really, really nice layout.

It was a lovely room and the staff were really friendly. The location was brilliant, just by Canal Street with a good vibe. The room was big and bright and well appointed, with not just a massive king sized bed but also a sofa and chairs.

The breakfast was a bit of a rip-off, with no real effort put in. The blinds on the windows were basically useless so I was woken up by the morning sun about 6am and it was soon too bright to go back to sleep. Plus, even with the windows closed, the noise of bottles being disposed of early in the morning was loud enough to shake me awake (it I hadn't been already!)

Atmosphere, balcony was amazing. Lovely bathroom, comfy bed. Nice decor.

The room needed a bit of tlc and there were some very noisy neighbours.

Great price for the location, right near the station and on canal street, close to centre and bars etc. Beautifully designed and modern, very clean. Enjoyed a welcome drink offered by reception staff. Fully stocked mini bar with pricing clearly stated, coffee machine and kettle. Bed was comfortable and very big. Reception allowed us to delay checkout at last minute for an additional charge. Shower was clean, large and pleasant to use. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Surprisingly quiet considering the location.

Not much to say other than the sink had some kind of blockage causing slow drainage and room was slightly smaller than expected for an upgraded room, however all round impressed and will stay again :)

Great room. On the 1st floor and there was absolutely no issue with the sound. Very comfy bed and pillows, and the room was huge. And location is perfect as well.

Could have a breakfast option at the hotel as opposed to a hamper. But no complaints really.
