The Cow Hollow Hotel, Manchester

Staff were wonderful, on arrival was offered complimentary prosecco and nibbles and after 10pm could ask for milk and cookies. Breakfast delivered to room at preffered time. Really lovely hotel, looked and smelt great. Bedrooms are compact but everything you need.

The hotel is situated near some late night bars so some noise in early hours but out of the hotels control.

Central location in the Northern Quarter around 5-10 min walk to Piccadilly station, nice decor, quirky rooms, nice breakfast and little touches such as milk & cookies and Prosecco offered. Friendly staff. Quiet despite being in the city centre.

The staff where lovely , the hotel is beautiful, our room was small but had everything we needed and I loved the extras they offered , complementary drinks and snacks , tea and coffee machine and breakfast was lovely the nxt morning

We loved everything about the hotel. The decor, the staff, the location. Clean, comfortable hotel, funky and good value for money, tasty breakfast, parking nearby. It had it all! We’ll definitely be back.

The staff were lovely. The room was very clean, the bed and bedding and pillows were super comfortable. We loved the little extras, being able to order tea and cookies to the room. The breakfast was lovely too, served on a tray to the room.

The room was very dark, the lighting was poor to get ready in. The shower was difficult to find the right temperature. There was a lot of street noise (it was a weekend) The room was on the small side (deluxe)

We really enjoyed our stay, great location and nice, cosy room.

The bathroom was slightly small and uncomfortable. The pillows smelt a bit weird.

The Room I was given was amazing, it was called The Copper Suite. Amazingly appointed, huge comfy bed, lovely sized shower with great water flow. Spacious and quiet and comfy. Would stay there again and highly recommend.

Staff fantastic - helpful and friendly. Decor excellent - very stylish. Loved all the little ‘extras’ - complimentary quality tea/coffee etc. Great tone to marketing and strong brand. The Cow Hollow understands what guests want, and provides it. Quiet, comfortable sleep. Knew the Standard king room was very small in advance, as we have stayed here before, but the overall vibe makes up for this. Will definitely stay again.

Wow! What an amazing hotel! So happy we stumbled across this when looking for somewhere to stay! Everything was brilliant. The Staff, the bar, the room, the shower, breakfast in bed and the cocktails were spot on!

Great hotel - comfortable and clean in a great location for exploring Manchester and walking distance to the Etihad and Co-op arena.

The WiFi was awful, no air con and the windows open into a noisy street and there are a lot of stairs up to the room which was on the top floor.

The hotel was lovely - nice staff, welcoming, great breakfast in bed. The small rooms are very small but in a great location and well made so a great base to explore the city for a night.

I wouldn't have wanted to stay for too long as the rooms are small but it was perfect for our quick getaway!

Loved the small touches- sweets, water, fruit, afternoon glass of bubbly, good pillows and duvet, breakfasts in bed.

We stayed in the room which was located in the basement. Slight smell of damp in corridor. Had an issue with hot water, which was fixed quickly, however it was too hot in the end. Be aware that water pressure is really low due to the hotel being eco-friendly.

Other visitors were not very respectful of the time of night and the fact that others maybe be sleeping eventhough they were still awake

Such an amazing hotel, lovely staff and the room was so comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious! Definitely going to book again, we loved it :)

Perfect location

Just what we needed

The location was great, it was in close proximity to the train station

Whilst breakfast was included, which was great. You had to eat it in your room. There was no space to eat it in my room and I had to do so standing up at the bottom of the bed.

We enjoyed our stay here during a short trip to Manchester. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

Room was pleasant and clean. I like that they had Netflix already and TV was nice. I loved the hair dryers and curling irons as an added bonus. Liked the soap, shampoo etc and thought the room guide was very cool. Front desk young lady seemed nice but I could not understand a single thing she said. Extremely soft spoken and thickly accented, another staff member translated for me so that was nice. I work with many people from South Asia so my ears are friendly to accents.

There is no such thing as a hot shower. It will be a tepid-room temp shower, there is a sign explaining why and it seems weird that the water from the sink is hot and the water in the shower is lukewarm The floor is not level in many areas so I tripped on the hard stone a few times. Walls are thin and I could hear the bartender make every single drink. Breakfast was pretty good but I had to beg/ask for a piece of bread, roll potatoes anything to go with the omelet. Be ready to have your breakfast time and order ready upon check-in.

The staff and facility couldn't be failted

We only stayed 1 night and as such the room was.perfect, however , without seeing the other rooms I cannot comment if they are the same. Our room had no wardrobe facility which for 1 night was perfect, any longer and it would have been a problem

The breakfast was lovely and the staff were extremely kind and attentive. The room I stayed in was also gorgeous!

The hotel was very cosy cute. And humble. Lots of little things that just made it special. Great little breakfast delivery to our room on a well organised tray. Milk and cookies 🍪 for bed. Great host well managed. We would use this little gem again. Many thanks craig and ashleigh.. x

I think like most hotels using eco showers set to 45.c temp or less can be a little disappointing. Otherwise everything was great.

Very friendly staff and nice hotel, providing more than you need. The location is amazing.

Lovely quirky hotel, great staff really friendly and helpful. Love the little extras, Prosecco on arrival and the nibbles! Breakfast to the room was amazing couldn’t fault it. Only thing to remember is to shut the window due to outside noise. There were ear plugs but we didn’t find them till the morning but we would stop again.

Everything about this place was great! The kind staff, the room, the bar, the atmosphere… everyone was genuinely friendly, the furniture was super comfortable, the decor and lighting were calming. I was excited to spend time in my room which is often not the case for me.
