Loved every minute

From the minute we arrived at the hotel to the moment we left, we were made to feel very welcome and at home by the lovely, welcoming and attentive staff. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the bed exceptionally comfortable with quality linens, duvets and feather pillows. We loved the complimentary fizz and snacks, coffee and breakfast. The hotel is well placed for Manchester’s Northern Quarter and Ancoats with lots of great bars and restaurants on the doorstep. We were also very grateful that the hotel allowed us to change the date of our stay because of snow, even though we had booked a non cancellable/amendable rate. We will most definitely be returning when we next need a bolthole in Manchester City Centre.

The shower pressure was weak but that is part of the building’s eco friendly system and certainly did not cause any problems. The room was very small but perfect for an overnight stay.

The staff are amazing. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated. Everything was exceptional 😃 I would definitely stay again!

The team was lovely and couldn't do enough to help. Great location. Lovely decor, clean, and they've thought of everything. Lots of lovely little things included which make all the difference. (Little pouch of sweets at check-in, prosecco, and nibbles late afternoon, hot drinks station to use theoughout your stay and cookies and milk at bedtime. Lovely breakfast delivered to the room. (Pastries, fruit, granola with yoghurt, hot drinks, and orange juice.) Great value for money, and I would definitely recommend. Thank you to the lovely staff for being so welcoming and chatty with my little girl, too.

A very modern, quirky and edgy hotel. Exceptionally clean and the staff would do anything to help.

There wasn’t much storage space, however, given the size of the rooms I’m not sure what space could be provided.

Everything was really nice

The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, which is so rare in hotels. Breakfast in bed was also a really great novelty I've never experienced.

When discussing food allergies I mentioned not really having any, but that I could not deal with spicy food. I selected a breakfast item that contained chilli flakes, which were not listed on the menu and the staff didn't alert me to, despite the jovial discussion we just had about my aversion to spice. They did fix this when the breakfast was served, but just something that could have been better handled.

We absolutely loved the bed; the woodwork is amazing! The aesthetics of the whole hotel are incredible, and it was very comfortable to sleep on. My daughter really enjoyed the complimentary drink, cookie, and milk, as well as breakfast in bed. It was a lovely touch to our stay. The staff when we arrived were also really lovely.

We was given a small room, leaving little space around the bed to move. Sometimes, we had to sit on the bed to let the other person pass. I think the setup is ideal for one person, but not for two.

Fantastic hotel

The most incredible place. We stayed for the night to visit the Christmas markets do be warned they start to shut them down half way through the day on the last day which is a shame. The hotel on another hand did not disappoint from the staff to the facilities to the attention to detail on providing such fantastic service. On arrival we were told we could have a free glass one processco each and a free nibble snack tray which had olives, cheese,crips and nuts on. They also offered slippers which you could take home one of the hotel Members offered us two rooms and which one we would like to choose from we also go free cookies and milk from 10pm and all the rooms had Netflix there is an £100 deposit but they said it bounces back in after a few days. Marley the night time member of staff was fantastic he made us feel right at home made us a cup of tea when we came in and sat and chatted to myself for a while asking all about our stay and what we think about Manchester he made me feel so welcome and if anything he really helped make the experinace. The decor was incredible so unique and well looked after even the public toilet for hotel members to use was incredibly clean and the rooms where just on a next level We will 100% be returning

Warm welcome, very pleasant bar staff, nice warm lighting, compact room but nice sized bed. Great location and easy to find. A very reasonable price. Free prosecco and nibbles 5pm-7pm was a lovely touch, too!

Quite hard to find, noisy at night

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with a very personal feel. Staff are exceptional and rooms are all unique. The little extras make this hotel different to the rest inManchester and we will certainly return here when next visiting the area. Thank you for a great stay!

Absolutely nothing to dislike!

It was really funky, great location, wonderful friendly helpful staff, delicious cocktails (the smoked Negroni was divine!) All the staff we talked to including the manager were all helpful and courteous

The rooms are on the small side but we knew that so it wasn’t a problem

city centre location with adjacent car park (not included) easy check in with friendly staff compact rooms but competitively priced for short stays

There was no hot water for a shower. There was a plaque on the wall saying it was limited to 42* but there was none . So couldn’t have a shower. Also should ask on booking if you have mobility issues as there is not a lift. I could manage but had just had an operation so not being on the top floor would have been helpful

Very quirky and different - loads of amazing extras and much appreciated. Great staff. 25 min walk to coop arena, loads of great bars around (The Pen and Pencil) and just generally mint

Amazing hotel, staff were so accommodating and couldn’t have been more helpful. Room was absolutely spotless, facilities were fantastic, and the little freebies made the stay even more fantastic. Highly recommend.

There is nothing I didn’t like! Only small issue we had was the water tank did run out at one point, however it only took 5-10 minutes to refill so wasn’t an issue at all.

Lovely boutique hotel, very stylish, clean, comfortable and staff friendly. Liked the extra touches like taking luggage to the room that was dropped earlier than check in, Prosecco and nibbles 5-7 and added items in the room. Great location as well!

Lovely entrance, decor, staff were very welcoming and friendly, so lovely, gave us all the info we needed and some useful bits about Manchester , couldn’t do enough to help us. Breakfast was amazing brought up to room and checkout was laid back with option to extend for a cost

Room itself although decorated nicely was a bit dark and dingy- basement room so k no or much light and difficult to find light for getting ready. Shower also not very warm

Property isn’t very big but it gives the place a feel of everyone can mingle and get to know each other

The bed frame is larger than the bed and I kept walking into the plinth. I came away with lots of bruises.

The staff are incredibly friendly and help with all your needs, breakfast provided was brilliant and we will definitely be staying again.

Beautiful, small and intimate little hotel. The staff where unbelievably attentive and the whole atmosphere was just wonderful. Complimentary fizz and nibbles at the bar of an evening and milk and cookies at bedtime!! just wonderful 😊 can't wait to return.

Our room was on the small side and had nowhere to hang our clothes, however this wouldn't put us off returning as it was wonderful 😊

Very friendly staff.

All the little touches,such as breakfast in bed, a free glass of prosecco and nibbles at the bar. We forgot our toothpaste and the hotel brought us some straight to our room. Really lovely.

The room was very very small. It was quite hard to get ready in there and there was nowhere to put luggage or clothes.

Everything! Great staff who were friendly and inviting. The room was very cosy with every finishing touch possible, slippers, free coffee/hot chocolate, cookies and milk to the room and a complimentary continental breakfast which was lovely.

Only downside I could add if I was being really picky was the pressure of the shower and it could have been hotter, but this is a minor issue that I choose not to bring up as its more of a preferential thing.

Good hotel helpful staff value for money

Staff were amazingly friendly. Loved the hot drink on arrival and whenever we felt like one and the free glassof fizz at 5pm.Nice touch when your in your way out for evening . We were made to feel so welcome. The room was warm and inviting and having Netflix was a bonus
