Great location and nice rooms. Lovely staff and great breakfast.

The WiFi was awful, no air con and the windows open into a noisy street and there are a lot of stairs up to the room which was on the top floor.

The hotel was lovely - nice staff, welcoming, great breakfast in bed. The small rooms are very small but in a great location and well made so a great base to explore the city for a night.

I wouldn't have wanted to stay for too long as the rooms are small but it was perfect for our quick getaway!

Loved the small touches- sweets, water, fruit, afternoon glass of bubbly, good pillows and duvet, breakfasts in bed.

We stayed in the room which was located in the basement. Slight smell of damp in corridor. Had an issue with hot water, which was fixed quickly, however it was too hot in the end. Be aware that water pressure is really low due to the hotel being eco-friendly.

Other visitors were not very respectful of the time of night and the fact that others maybe be sleeping eventhough they were still awake

The location was great, it was in close proximity to the train station

Whilst breakfast was included, which was great. You had to eat it in your room. There was no space to eat it in my room and I had to do so standing up at the bottom of the bed.

We enjoyed our stay here during a short trip to Manchester. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

Room was pleasant and clean. I like that they had Netflix already and TV was nice. I loved the hair dryers and curling irons as an added bonus. Liked the soap, shampoo etc and thought the room guide was very cool. Front desk young lady seemed nice but I could not understand a single thing she said. Extremely soft spoken and thickly accented, another staff member translated for me so that was nice. I work with many people from South Asia so my ears are friendly to accents.

There is no such thing as a hot shower. It will be a tepid-room temp shower, there is a sign explaining why and it seems weird that the water from the sink is hot and the water in the shower is lukewarm The floor is not level in many areas so I tripped on the hard stone a few times. Walls are thin and I could hear the bartender make every single drink. Breakfast was pretty good but I had to beg/ask for a piece of bread, roll potatoes anything to go with the omelet. Be ready to have your breakfast time and order ready upon check-in.

The staff and facility couldn't be failted

We only stayed 1 night and as such the room was.perfect, however , without seeing the other rooms I cannot comment if they are the same. Our room had no wardrobe facility which for 1 night was perfect, any longer and it would have been a problem

The breakfast was lovely and the staff were extremely kind and attentive. The room I stayed in was also gorgeous!

The hotel was very cosy cute. And humble. Lots of little things that just made it special. Great little breakfast delivery to our room on a well organised tray. Milk and cookies 🍪 for bed. Great host well managed. We would use this little gem again. Many thanks craig and ashleigh.. x

I think like most hotels using eco showers set to 45.c temp or less can be a little disappointing. Otherwise everything was great.

Lovely quirky hotel, great staff really friendly and helpful. Love the little extras, Prosecco on arrival and the nibbles! Breakfast to the room was amazing couldn’t fault it. Only thing to remember is to shut the window due to outside noise. There were ear plugs but we didn’t find them till the morning but we would stop again.

Everything about this place was great! The kind staff, the room, the bar, the atmosphere… everyone was genuinely friendly, the furniture was super comfortable, the decor and lighting were calming. I was excited to spend time in my room which is often not the case for me.

Excellent staff attention and very welcoming. Bar staff were particularly engaging and always on hand. Hotel decor and facilities very in keeping with boutique luxury and lovely finishing touches with complimentary hot drinks, cookies and fruit. Breakfast was gorgeous, simply done and to a high standard. Location very central with access to all the main amenities. I had a basement room which had tendencies to wobble with the Wi-Fi but 4G worked from there regardless. Can’t fault this hotel - excellent all round, worth the money and a lovely hidden secret boutique gem! Well done The Cow Hollow! As Terminator once said - I’ll be back 😀

Friendly and eager staff, couldn’t do enough for you, always greeted with a smile. Loved touches such as the breakfast in bed, cookies before bed etc! Lovely decor, pleasant space to have a drink at the bar as well.

The decor was beautiful, so stylish and unique. I felt like I was siting in a hotel lounge in Indonesia! The staff were exceptional, so warm , helpful and efficient. One of the best hotels I have stayed at. Loved the room service breakfast and teas/coffee. The bed and feather pillows were also the best I’ve experienced in a hotel. I loved the language used in all the menus and information books I received in the room. Extremely welcoming and easy-going. A very well thought out design and service. Will be back again and again!

I honestly cannot think of anything!

The staff were absolutely amazing. Very attentive and personable. We ended up sitting at the hotel bar chatting with the staff rather than going out into the city and they stayed 30 mins after their clocking off time just to chat with us. We really loved that.

Rooms was fitted out to a high level, although not large, perfect for a cost stay. Welcome sweets and drink, plus snack and breakfast was amazing. Comfy bed and nice drinks at the hotel bar before heading out and when you get back in.

oh my god this place is amazing! i was upset when i my boyfriend recommended it when i was stranded in manchester because it wasn’t close to the airport (it’s downtown and a short walk to Picadilly), so i had to pay the taxi fee to get there and back - but honestly i have spent over $300 for hotels with less charm and amenities than this place! First off, it looks like a hole in the wall but it is BEAUTIFUL- second off they handed me a complimentary glass of prosecco when i stepped in, delivered cookies and milk in the evening to my room (who does that??), delivers EXCELLENT breakfast to the room in the morning (no extra charge for breakfast or delivery!), has ear plugs and slippers, and had a fantastic list of recommended restaurants. Like, this is better than other 5 star hotels i’ve been at - and it was a third of the price??? Dude… The room was a little small (so be aware if you’re used to huge rooms), but seriously it was absolutely perfect. Turned my travel hell into heaven and was the little paradise I needed.

An amazing staff that went above and beyond. The room and the hotel is not a stale and standard big brand hotel - it is really cozy, and unique. We were really impressed and loved the vibe. They had lots of extra perks like good room service, amenities and cocktails. We will for sure be staying again!
