Roomzzz Corn Exchange, Manchester

The hotel was excellent and centrally located and would definitely stay here again. The hotel was very clean, including the plush corridors leading the rooms. We had a suite, which was very spacious, clean and had a good equipped kitchen. The breakfast was as advertised- croissants, coffee, tea etc. with a seating area at the back of reception within the historic Corn Exchange. We independently pre-booked parking nearby in AO arena (£24 for 26 hours)

Excellent location, with the Christmas markets right out the front of our hotel. The rooms were spacious and had a small kitchenette which was very handy. It is close to everything, making it easy to walk everywhere. The staff were very obliging and helpful. Close to many great restaurants and shops too!

The location was perfect , right in the middle of everything and so close to the shopping centre and tram stop, so easy to get around the city.

There wasn’t a lot of air circulation in the room and the windows didn’t open so it got quite warm and stuffy in the room.

The TV was in quite an awkward spot.

I liked how central it was. The apartment was really nice. I liked the touch of a coffee and a pastry in the morning.

I have dietary requirements (lactose intolerant) and I was just told by staff there's no alternative option I can have, so I just had to have an espresso. Look not a big deal but just something that was offered to us but I couldn't enjoy while my partner could.

Front of house staff, Emily and Elizabeth were very helpful and polite on arrival.

Everything was spot on

Room was big enough for myself and two adult daughters. Beds were comfortable, bathroom really nice and modern and the shower was very good. We had complementary tea/coffee/milk, the kitchenette was well equipped although we didn’t use this facility apart from making coffee. This hotel is in a superb location.

Room was not as expected - limited facilities in kitchen. No bread knife or scissors and a plastic couch. Also stairs to kitchen were too close to the bed - easy to bang your head

The hotel was amazing very central and a massive bonus that you can walk straight out of the reception to all different types of bars and restaurants we had a lovely meal at the Vietnamese restaurant that’s in the same building as the hotel you literally do not have to go outside and there’s many more to choose from. We stayed for a concert at the a o arena which is a 6 minute walk away, but we are thinking of returning soon just to have a relax with some nice food and a break from the kids. The room was big and spotless the shower was great the little kitchenette was a bonus as well although we didn’t use it to cook anything

There was a slight wait to check in I think the other receptionist was on her break we stood in line for about 30 minutes waiting to check in the line did start to move a lot faster once the other receptionist got back to work but the hotel was well worth the wait

The location was excellent, in the middle of the shopping area right behind Selfridges, next to Printworks, extremely close to Bars, restaurants & shops enabling to nip back should you wish. It was extremely clean, warm, the staff were informative and helpful and it was extremely quite considering it's location and time of year

The TV & Table at the end of the BED, far to invasive & took too much room up considering the amount of space allocated to the kitchen area, it could have been better planned

Found it very strange and awkward to have a double bed against the wall. We had to climb over each other to get out of bed 🤣 Was a little pricey but we did stay on a very busy Christmas weekend!

The old Corn Exchange is absolutely stunning, and the lovely modern hotel that has been built inside it, has been created in a highly sympathetic way to its surroundings. The location was fab too - very convenient for excellent shops, great restaurants, a cinema and a theatre.
