Hotel Born Palma, Mallorca

The location was perfect. The hotel had a good choice of food at breakfast. The building was beautiful and the rooms were comfortable. The staff were warm, friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurants nearby were good too.

Unfortunately, on our final day, there was no hot water available. We reported this to reception but they said sadly it was not likely to be fixed by the time we were due to leave so I had to have a cold shower which was not ideal. There is limited seating in the breakfast area so you should try not to go at peak times. I found the room to be slightly noisy as other guests were talking late at night on the landings.

Perfect location - central, yet picturesque and peaceful. Walking distance to cathedral, palace, museums, beach/marina. Fantastic breakfast, extensive cold buffet of continental breakfast and selection of hot breakfast cooked to order. The staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly, they went over and above to make our stay amazing. Pleased to find tea & coffee making facilities in the room and carafe of water.

In the room some lighting near the wardrobe would have been nice as it was difficult to see inside (in the evening) even with all the lamps in the room on.

Location was good. Easy access to buses and trains.

Bathroom had no extractor fan so got damp after showering.

I first saw Hotel Born on my social media and loved the look of it so much, that I booked our trip around it. We were not disappointed - what a beautiful hotel. It's tucked away up a little car width lane but is literally steps away from the central hub. The shops, cafes and atmosphere were on our doorstep. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The front desk helped out with maps, directions and a taxi to the airport (20 Euro). The breakfast - buffet and various menu items cooked to order, was fantastic. The lady who served us each morning was lovely and helped with our questions as one of our party is Celiac. The hotel staff were knowledgeable and supportive of this at breakfast and in the restaurant. This hotel is immaculately clean, calm, peaceful but amazingly close to everything you might need. We walked miles exploring the sites and just generally getting to know Palma.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Hotel Born and that is a very rare scenario. There is nothing more they could have done to have improved our stay.

Amazing courtyard! Really a hidden gem. Go there for an evening drink and thank me later.

Breakfast was brilliant, good variety of continental and cooked food. Had dinner in the restaurant one night and it was delicious. Free bottled drinking water in the room daily. Coffee machine, kettle, hairdryer and safe provided. Lots of lovely seating areas in the hotel, loved the courtyard bar/restaurant space. The staff were friendly and helpful. Alex was very good.

Better access to sockets for coffee machine and kettle. Had to ask reception for breakfast tea for room (no problem) as not left by housekeeping. Better soundproofing, as friends were kept awake by snoring from the next door room. Reception forgot to give us safe card on arrival.

Front desk Staffs are friendly and very helpful. Location in the center, easy to reach.

1. bath room has no fan and makes the room humid. 2. breakfast is late at 8am. Many of the tours begins at 8:00-8:30 3. breakfast offer is very limited, and refills comes very slow.

As a single woman I wasn’t even offered help with taking luggage to my room - no lift! This should not be the case in such hotel.

Hard to drive to - very narrow alleys don’t go there in an SUV.

Hotel is beautifully situated in Palma.A superb building with a lovely courtyard to eat and drink. Room was spacious,clean and furnished to a high standard. Staff were friendly,caring and most helpful.

Stunning building , amazing location

No lift , quite noisy evening in the courtyard.was disappointed they charged me 4 euros for sparkling water in my room that came with no lid.
