Hotel Born Palma, Mallorca

Location was great. We arrived very late as our flight was delayed but we were still able to get in. Room was very comfortable and clean and the hotel was quiet. Great breakfast.

Would have been good if the air conditioning had been on when we arrived but the room cooled down after about 30 minutes.

Location was perfect. Gorgeous room with dressing area and sofa, looking onto a beautiful courtyard with tables. Lovely decor traditional Spanish.

It’s just doors to rooms are vintage, I can understand the point because of the building is old but you don’t have privacy. There are gaps in the doors that all noise comes in and goes out. Ps: it wa dust on the walls . Top of our bed 🛌 some part was dusty. You could see .

Property was beautiful the lobby and terrace especially. Bed very comfortable. Great location in the heart of everything!

No lift and quite a few steps to navigate. The shower although lovely would flood everytime it was used. Not huge amount of choice for breakfast.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful. The location is perfectly located in the most beautiful part of Palma. The room was very stylish, spotless and comfortable. It was a fabulous getaway. The breakfast was very tasty and fresh. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was beautiful, featuring vintage architecture and a charming restaurant at its heart. The room was spacious and comfortable.

The room was a little too dark, and the furniture could use a refresh. The shower pressure was also weaker than expected.

Lovely old building. Good breakfast and now has a bar which it didn’t when we stayed before. Air conditioning in bedroom and good sized room with clean bathroom.

No lift! We were on the 3rd floor and I am awaiting a hip replacement! However a young man did carry our cases up for us which was great. Daytime receptionist not overly helpful and reception lounge very hot.

Is in a perfect location for sightseeing,shopping & restaurants. The staff at the reception were so friendly & helpful. Breakfast selection was excellent & eating it in the delightful courtyard was the perfect start to the day.

Excellent Location, beautiful building in a lovely cobbled lane, nice olde worlde decor vibe with lovely court yard to enjoy breakfast / drink. A beautiful aroma fills the hotel on entrance. Coffee machine with pods, water added daily, fridge in room. Iron on request Large bathroom with very good shower space. Shampoo/ conditioner/ soap/ slippers supplied.

As our bedroom room 101 was on first floor above reception disliked that we could hear noise from reception area from staff/ hotel clients. However, being on first floor has its advantages as no lift not too many stairs to climb on return from excursions.

Location is amazing and room is great, design and everything was above expectactions.

Our stay at Born hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home (the star point of this hotel). Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. We loved waking up to the stunning views each morning and ending the day by a drink in its bar. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Everything about this hotel radiates charm and attention to detail! Highly recommended!

Perfect location, friendly staff

The location is really stands out. It's located in the city center in 1 minute of shopping. It's also a 10-15 minute walk to the Palma cathedral. In a 10-15 minute walk on the other side, you can find shops in the local pantry. Breakfast is okay, the variety of dishes is not perfect, could be better. No parking spot, but you don't need car in Palma, everything is reachable by walk. You should try the espresso martini, it's really perfect. The best I have tried yet.

No lift, but that's what it is. The light in the room could be better. There's no general center light. Room feels dark some times, even with all the lights on.

Lovely hotel with a beautiful courtyard that serves good food. Location was perfect right in the center of Palma everywhere was walk able.

What a marvelous place! Great location, 10 mins tops from the cathedral. Very stylish, clean and lovely. The room was spacious, with good AC, also there was a coffeemaker and tea. Beds and pillows are comfy, it's quiet at night. Breakfast was very tasty, with hot options and prosecco.

Location was perfect. Breakfast was nice. Reception was breathtaking.

Air conditioning didn’t work one night and the staff member who we spoke to on the phone was rude. He then came to the room to try and fix it and said we would have to move rooms if we wanted air conditioning. It was midnight. He also said they might not have other rooms available. He left without fixing it which was disappointing. We eventually resolved the problem ourselves. We were disappointed with his lack of interest.

Good value for the money; the personnel were kind, and the room and hotel design were satisfactory.

Breakfast could have more variety and be based on local cuisine. I couldn't feel Mallorcan vibes, but it was decent.

Very interesting historical building within central Palma , many great shops and restaurants and cafes. Within easy driving distance of some very beautiful beaches.

No Parking facilities and having to park at a local car park daily.

Gorgeous, stunning, perfectly located property with an equally sublime restaurant in a beautiful setting.

No lift - it’s an old building so I wasn’t surprised but worth being aware of. Also, the lovely charming guy at reception kindly offered to carry my bags to the first floor.

We were facing the bar and restaurant area which can get a bit noisy, although it was always quiet come 11pm. It really wasn't an issue for us but maybe if you had young children, you might want to request a room facing away.

Everything!!! As soon as we walked through the door, we were welcomed into an oasis of calm in the middle of Palma. Staff were super helpful, breakfast was amazing, and the bar, a lovely place to relax after a busy day shopping! Bedroom was a good size, comfortable and with good quality toiletries. We will definitely return if we visit Palma again.

The location is perfect, right next to the old town and main shopping area and a 5-10 minute walk to the cathedral. The hotel foyer and staircase are grand and the courtyard restaurant and bar area are stylish and fabulous for breakfast, dinner or drinks. Our room was very clean and had a small annexe with extra chairs, television and fridge, as well as coffee/ tea and kettle provided. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of sweet, savoury and fresh fruits provided.

This is more of a comment than an actual negative. Since the hotel was a 16th century palace, there is no lift. Therefore the hotel staff carried our suitcases up to our 4th floor room which they do for all guests. Just be aware there is no lift before you book, but the hotel is worth it!

Location, restaurant, comfy beds!

It was beautiful. Very high end with a very comfortable bed and amazing bed sheets.

Hot breakfast wasn’t great but the breads and pastries were lovely.

What an incredible place. My Mum and I have just returned from 3 nights in this lovely hotel, which is in a prime location in the old town near lovely restaurants and all of the shops. The room was huge, clean and comfortable and the staff were so lovely - special mention to Victor and another guy who was on reception today (17/07) who arranged our taxi to the airport.

It is historic and cool Gorgeous ceilings and marble pillars. The courtyard bar and restaurant was fabulous.

The bedrooms were a little tired and the sheets and towels need replacing.

Superfriendly staff. Quiet, spatious room. Perfect location. Nice bar and breakfast. I will be back!

Beautiful hotel in a historic building with an authentic Mallorcan feel. Couldn’t be better located, right in the heart of the city at the top of the Passeig de Born just a few minutes walk from the cathedral, market and squares. It’s on the most beautiful narrow cobbled street surrounded by dozens more just like it, filled with amazing shops and cafes. The hotel foyer and outside bar and restaurant look particularly pretty when lit up at night. Would highly recommend.
