Simply put, this is one of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed at. Dripping in a sun basked valley of the town of Deià with the most attentive staff and presence for every detail. A true experience of the senses and absolutely worth it.

Absolutely amazing location you could never get tired of the view

The staff and service was outstanding. Very friendly and always helpful. Babies were welcome and the hotel even offered a "daycare" service. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of local specialities and more. The beds were really comfortable and you could select your perfect pillow from the pillow menu - we slept perfectly. I especially loved the pool with an outstanding view and the variety of restaurants at the location.

It was a little noisy in the morning and during the day, since the room/cleaning service used walkie talkies and the sound went through the doors and walls.

Stunning hotel in an amazingly beautiful location. Great art throughout the hotel, wonderful personal touches and great service from the staff. Breakfasts were delicious.

The only thing we thought was not up to par was the La Tromantana Grill restaurant where we ate our first night. Very overpriced for food that was nice but nothing special.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in with amazing customer service to match. We stayed in a suite which had two terraces set up with tables and chairs and umbrellas and the rooms are so beautifully appointed. We have stayed at a few Belmond properties and they really know how to look after their guests. Everyone from concierge to housekeeping does an excellent job without being over the top. The property and gardens are immaculate. Even with the huge turn over of guests everything is super clean and the soft furnishings and interiors are picture perfect. We ate at all three restaurants and the food was fantastic. Dinner on the balcony at El Olivio is a must with an incredible wine list and Sommelier. For a large hotel with huge turn over they do an incredible job of making you feel very special and looked after.

we liked everything. it’s a very special place. the views are surreal. staff was very friendly.

We had a magical time at La Residencia and wish we could have stayed for longer. This stay really made our entire trip and the property is even more beautiful in person. The service at the restaurants, by the pool, from reception and concierge were all fantastic. Everyone goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade upon check in which made our time there even more special as we had a suite with a private terrace. We loved dining at El Olivo and the restaurant by the pool. All in all, this is one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had!

€9 for a Coke was a bit exorbitant and took us by surprise!

My staying there was so pleasant and restful, everything was just perfect. The room ( I had classic double room) looks even better live as also the whole hotel sight - I recommend the inner pool. Everyone from the personnel, without exception, was very professional, pleasant and respectful, they made me feel like home even though I was staying there alone for 4 days. Each time I left the room, someone came by and tidied all up. I also got some small gifts and handnotes. Both of the restaurants (Miro and Olivo) were very delicious with great food and high class service. The breakfast too! All in all I can not find even one tiny thing where I would think - it could have been done better. I give a 100% recommendation !!

War alles perfekt

Everything was amazing, a great stay and a memorable stay. First time in belmond and definitely won’t be my last time. Amazing hospitality and service. A big thanks to the staff and to Mr. Thomas the manager for the nice stay. Would highly recommend people to book with eyes closed.

Everything was great.

Everything was just perfect. Unforgettable sunset and views, warming and hospitable services, good location for tourting upper side of the island. This hotel has some kind of elegance edge to the arts. Cards, cathaloges and all wall arts will make you feel like at a gallery. We visited here for our honeymoon, and they surely gifted us wonderful experience. I want to say tremendous thanks to the manager, Thomas, who saved his busy morning time just in order to giving us tips for touring Mallorca even with a hand writing note. It helped a lot. Who ever you are, especially who want to have a break in quite and beautiful place, once you visit here, you are gonna eager to come back to this place, for sure.

The reason why you must come to Mallorca is because of Belmond. Be sure to feel Belmond. I have no regrets! Honeymoon made our bedroom pretty and provided us with a celebratory drink for our drink. Almost everything was perfect

This hotel is just the most perfect place I have ever stayed in. Everything was exceptional. From the amazing food, the wonderful and attentive staff, the beautiful scenery, the fabulously comfortable room with those cloud-like pillows to the thoughtful gifts left by the bed ...amazing and with donkeys too!

Beautiful place very comfortable the only thing I’d criticise was the price for children . The ice creams and drinks were hugely expensive . The dinners were lovely but for the price I think water should be commentary

Amazing service, best experience ever in terms of attention and kindness of all staff. Better than any other luxury chains like Four seasons. We travelled with our 2 year old girl, we felt very welcomed and lots of attention towards her. Incredible in terms of attention to details, very nice amenitites (best smell ever), lots of little gifts and things for us and for our girl. We were impressed. Thank you so much. I suggest spring and autumn to visit. We were in October, was not hot but warm enough to swim in the pool and suntan. Perfect.

Massage was not up to standards, just not good. The girl spoke english, but honestly I prefer a good massage than an english speaker.

there are a lot of stairs so that might be challenging for some but if you don’t mind makes the property even more beautiful

Exceptional stay at La Residencia : from our arrival when we were welcomed with a room upgrade and a complimentary bottle of cava, to our departure with a smooth early morning check-out, we can only but commend La Residencia property and staff to demanding guests. This property is attentive to all small details for their clients to have the perfect stay. There are many experiences and activities organized by the hotel concierge services. The F&B was top, both in terms of variety and quality. Deia is in our opinion the most beautiful village on the entire island.

Beautiful views, wonderful facilities, extremely attentive staff and attention to detail was exceptional. The food in all of the restaurants was fabulous. In the evening there was an amazing pianist who played beautifully for hours in the bar. Have already recommended the restaurant and bar for a visit to friends and family who live nearby.

The hotel itself is FAULTLESS, but wanted to add thoughts about the surrounding locations.. Being annual visitors to the island for 25+ years we were a little disappointed by Deia's offerings especially considering its reputation. It's undeniably pretty, and certainly creates a lovely backdrop for the hotel, but a short morning walk in revealed really not a huge amount to visit compared to other Mallorcan towns. A few restaurants that were closed, one or 2 small supermarkets and a cycling shop (perhaps the time of day we went pre midday..) We walked to the top of the town to the church which had fabulous views but don't expect Deia to be like other Mallorcan towns with a bustling market square/cafes and bars (the likes of Pollenca, Soller, Valdemossa etc). There is also a single very busy and windy road that runs upto/through the town so caution to pedestrians. Cala Deia again has a lovely reputation but you have to get there extremely early to get a parking spot, and you wouldn't want to walk unless you've bought your hiking gear (an almost vertical descent of several kms). We drove on a rainy morning and even then had to park about a 10 min walk from the beach on the side of the road. Once there, there is one very busy restaurant (which has a well-known rep for being unsurprisingly very overpriced). It smelled fab but imagine you'd have to book well in advance. We anticipated this and took a picnic. The beach is very rocky with no sand to settle on and quite a lot of seaweed on the day we went. The swimming is however fabulous. We didn't find any other amenities down there (no WCs) and very little shade. Would say it's not hugely suitable if you're planning to take small children and isn't that accessible for buggies/wheelchairs. We have a family home nearby in Soller and probably wouldn't make the trip to Cala Deia again very regularly.

The atmosphere! brilliant!! also the entire estate wae taking care if very well!

the check in process. We were told we received an upgrade to a vetter room. none if us felt it was a better room. quite the opposite. the staff didn’t seem to want to change our room. it was the most expensive night I ever booked in my life. I would expect for a better check in experience. at the end they gave us a lovely room so we are extremely thankful for that.
