Hotel Indigo Downtown, Los Angeles

The hotel was good. The staff was friendly.

Unfortunately there was a construction site at the pool. Sometimes there was no hot water in the bathroom, only warm water.

The location was great! A short lift ride to old town, BMO stadium, Santa Monica & Venice beaches. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The only negative was the food which was pretty awful and extremely overpriced as were the drinks.

Breakfast was great. The hotel staff were helpful. I loved the decor. Room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent location and I would stay here again.

The restaurant had very poor service and we were charged 20% gratuity for only 4 people. The food was delicious though.

Nobody helped with the bags upon our arrival. Hallway carpets were a bit dirty. A bit scary to go around at night in the vicinity of the hotel. Fitness center was a bit small.

It had a unique decor, not just the same old beige everywhere. The restaurant was a good one. The first morning I heard drilling at 9 AM, which is OK for a lot of people but too early for me so they moved me to another room which was really nice, and then upgrade at that.

There was one day that I came back a little too early ~2:08 pm and they had not cleaned our room, so I made lot of effort to get it cleaned. I tried to leave again on time so they can get to it. I made 7-8 calls or contacts (called 3 times on the room phone, which seemed to not be working, talked to a couple of the housekeepers, but they were not assigned to my room so that’s fine, then call a couple of times on my cell phone), left again, and they had not cleaned it again. The person I spoke to the first time got the housekeeper schedule wrong so I didn’t rush back out the door the first time, even though I could have. So later I was informed that the housekeepers left. It was kind of upsetting, but they did bring me some towels, and that did help.

Didn’t have the room I booked for on booking.com. However, they provided great compensations and solutions for the miss.

Flooring in hotel room near bathroom were black in color due to wood rooting from bathroom water. Additionally floors in hotel were not mopped regularly so it is not advisable to walk barefoot in rooms.

Fun hotel, fancy and posh. Good pool, good restaurants. People were super nice! The pool was great!!

Valet parking was $60! The bar in the top floor was more like a dance club.

I loved the art deco feel of the hotel. I felt safe and secure. We only stopped for a night in our travels across the country. The price we got thru booking.com made it acceptable 50$ for valet parking but everything is expensive in LA. Everyone working at the hotel was very nice and I would stay there again.

The room was great. Location was good. The front desk team were terrific, very accommodating.

Food was a bit expensive for the quality. The lack of coffee after 9AM was concerning. The front/side of the hotel was the worst part of the stay. Drugs being used/sold was alarming, didn't feel safe walking around outside the property.

The room and space was gorgeous!

Location to crypto arena

The air conditioning in room did not work very well and the furniture was dirty and ripped

Staff was below expectations. Was very disappointed with the level of the staff reception. This was very poor. Emphasis very poor and disappointing. I was totally disappointed with staff i met, when at reception for check in. Hotel should really vet staff. Thats first port of interaction. Not sure will ever stay in this hotel again.

Mike at front desk was amazing. The location was perfect for our stay, within walking distance of crypto arena. The beds were very comfortable and the staff were very friendly.

Some demolitions across the road meant it was noisy in the mornings with big machines breaking up rocks and excavating.

The room needed a refresh. The closest was broken, the furniture was wearing out and dingy and the beds were very firm. The restaurant tables always needed to be wiped down

The big rooms, with even bigger bathrooms. The lobby. The proximity to Crypto arena and shops. The fast and numerous lifts.

The restaurant. The service was non-existent and the food was very average for the price being charged.

The location is perfect for catching a Lakers game as the Crypto arena is about a 10min walk or a few mins in an Uber. The hotel has a great lobby bar and comfy seating for lounging to wind down in the evening. The rooms are spacious, fresh and clean, no carpet which I love. The beds are comfy as are the pillows. There is a seating area to chill in which is a decent size. The bathrooms have a roomy walk-in shower and the full size bath and shower product bottles. The lobby stocks amenities and snacks for purchase via a kiosk system and water bottles are complimentary at check-in. The rooms also have complimentary water bottles. Valet parking is efficient and also assist with bags. Friendly staff.

Breakfast was delicious although when I booked it said Beeakfast included, and I only got 60 USD for the whole family (4 people) and is 30 to 40 USD more of charge.

I liked the location of the hotel. It was within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The view from the room was great. It was also very festive for the Christmas season. The staff was helpful and kind.

The hot/cold water in the bathroom seemed to be a bit off. Also, the barn door for the bathroom was heavy and awkward.

The location/view is great. The price is more fair than surrounding hotels. The beds are cozy.

The shower in the bathroom smelled a little musty and the handle of the shower came off when gently pulled. The hot water was also luke warm when turned all the way up but towards the end of the shower it seemed to get hotter.
