It’s near to the Tube station and safe. They have locker in every bed

Everything from the facilities, to the cleanliness, to the staff was fantastic. I didn’t have breakfast but I can imagine it’s lovely as well. Location and price wise I can’t recommend this hostel enough, I don’t think you can find cheaper in central London. This is the second time I’ve stayed in Wombats and probably will again in the future. Thank you all!

Comfortable rooms, showers and toilets are separate and both inside the room, great space, enough for everyone in the room, clean and neat, helpful and kind staff, great sharing room, kitchen and bar. You will have everything you need in a hostel. I will choose to stay here again when I come to London.

A bit far away from the center of London. Need to use the transportation every time. The bus and metro station are 10 minutes away But still I didn’t find that very difficult

Clean, cool spaces, amazing dorms and facilities. The bar area was amazing and the cafe in the lobby was a life saver on those early mornings sight seeing when I needed a quick coffee first.

The dryers didn’t really work and I had to pay 5 pounds for it anyway. Also the elevator stopped working after the first day, and carrying my bags down on checkout was painful, but I understand it was a process to get it fixed, so I understand why it took a while.

It is an amazing place to stay. Nicely managed and very clean. The beds have separate plug points, fans and even curtains (great). Walkable distance to the tube station.

The elevator failed to operate. They charge for leaving the luggage even when you have bookings there. Not sure they provide cookware to cook ourselves.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and not too much of a shock for a 50yo who hasn't stayed in a hostel for 20+ yrs!

I went as a solo traveller and my first time at a British hostel. The vibe and atmosphere were electric and social. It was a little fancy in many respects, but still was very homey. The place was beyond comfortable and I will be coming back again. The underground bar is like no other, it is incredible in the weekends and reasonably priced for London.

The breakfast, though good, was slightly lacking in variety, like there was no cereal and other breakfast foods. They constantly try to upsell an overpriced ~£5 glass of fresh orange juice which is ludicrous. The privacy in rooms was great, but something to bear in mind as I noticed it curbs social interaction with other guests.

Clean and tidy. Staff very friendly. Everyone in the dorm was respectful . 10 min walk from underground and central areas. Glad I stayed here

For this price for a bunkbed in a hostel, I was not expecting to have to make the linens myself and to have to rent the towels.

Everywhere is so clean, a secured environment and friendly personnels. Good value for money.

The location was very good. The rooms were excellent, and the toilets and showers were great. The lockers were spacious, and there were plenty of outlets available to charge our devices.

It was quite hot during the night, and when I tried to turn on the small fan provided for each bed, I noticed it was completely covered in dust. This immediately triggered my rhinitis, causing my nose to become blocked and affecting my ears as well, as I’m very allergic. I informed the reception, since it was clear the fan hadn’t been cleaned in a long time.

This hostel was great! Very clean, social and the underground social area was so big and easy to find space to chill out. Kitchen was also great

Convenient stay

Great location, close to train and bus stations. The security lock and fan on each bed I found them amazing, hasn’t seen that in any previous hostel and were super convenient. Also the lockers are big and feel very safe. The toilet and shower are very spacious and nice, having them inside the room is definitely a plus.

I think the toilet/shower wasn’t cleaned frequently enough, 2 times per day would be good for a shared room. The refrigerators in the kitchen were a total mess.

I have been staying in wombats city hostels since 2024. I stayed in munich many times Austria 1 time & now london 1 time. It's awesome.

The only thing that they should improve the breakfast quality & add few more things in it.

Very central place and price for value is very high. Nice bar downstairs, everything is clean, good coffee on the ground floor. Very friendly staff.

It is a bit odd that You need make your bed yourself and there are no free towel for use in private rooms in 21 st century. Also check in process is long if you arrive from the start.

Nice staff, nice vibe, safe and good location!

Perfect location for discovering the city, super nice personell, guest kitchen with fridges and all you need for cooking, food that was still good but left unused by guests was free for other guests to use, the rooms were rather quiet and cleaned every day, the beds had curtains and the lockers were fully functional and good-looking. It was a really nice stay!

I stayed in 6 bed female room, and I loved it. Each bed has curtain and a safe box, which ensures your privacy and security. Also, the location was perfect, very close to Tube, to bus stations and very close to London bridge. The Kitchen was fully equipped, and it was very big. The bar was also very nice and every night they had some sort of activity like Comedy night, or pop quiz, etc. Love it, and I recommend it.

The female only rooms were not available for booking online. Luckily at check-in it was possible to swap.

The location is excellent for getting to know the city. The room is clean and with everything you need. The staff loved him very well and the bar good to spend the night

The comfort of the bunks was not the best

The location is very convenient, walking distance to a couple of underground stations and in a nice neighborhood. The hostel has great facilities so you don’t have to go too far: cafe, bar, kitchen, luggage storage, and laundry. My (single) room was pretty spacious & comfortable.

Cleanliness in my single room and private bathroom could have been more thorough. I’m paying hotel prices for a room, so my expectations are pretty high. It would have been nice to have at least soap available in the room instead of having to buy my own. The laundry on the property is convenient but a little confusing to use. I believe it was 6 pounds per load for wash, and then 6 pounds to dry as well.

Wom Bar, very cool, chilled communal space. Nice staff, very affordable. Makes visiting London affordable.

Comfier mattresses would be nice, but for £30 per night its fine. And I still slept well. ✌️ Will be back again.

Very social (if you wanted to be social). The bar downstairs was great for events like comedy and karaoke, ping pong and pool! I met loads of people, made a lot of new friends and had a great time solo traveling London.

Stayed here before and it's great from staff, facilities, location, and price. I always recommend to friends and family.

Good location, clean, friendly and helpful staff. I stayed here 8 years ago and it's at the same (or better) than it was then. One of the better hostels I've been in especially for the price.

The one complaint I have is there's a gap between the bed and the wall and it's easy to lose things (like key cards 😅) by them slipping down. But, the staff was very quick and helpful at replacing it at 6am so I could get into my locker

The staffs were nice and helpful. The bathroom was large and clean.

It’s near the railway so it can be load at night and in the early morning. You should close the window or bring the earplugs.

Stayed one night. Easy to find, comfy, spacious room for two with smart separate bathroom and toilet units! Shared kitchen was large (we used the fridge and ate our own breakfast breakfast). Check-in was quick, checkout too (we left early ish for our flight. Good location and great choice if you're flying in/out from London City Airport!

The staff are very friendly and helpful , many thanks to all of them! They assisted me several times (with the locker, measuring my luggage, providing a charger adapter, etc.). The room is well-equipped (toilet paper, soap, etc.), and the shower works perfectly with nice warm water. The location is excellent: the area is safe, with a variety of restaurants nearby (Lebanese, Filipino, Italian, etc.), convenience stores, and access to the underground in less than 10 minutes.

Curtains on the beds allow for a bit of privacy, personal mini-lights are convenient, lockers with a card so one does not need to bring or buy the lock, good water pressure in the showers

I really did not like the back mold in the shower. Which was surprising to find as other than that the room was pretty clean

I stayed here 4 years ago, so I knew what to expect. But they made improvements to the courtyard, lobby and shared areas that I really enjoyed

The location isn’t horrible, but it could be better. If it were just in a quieter part of town, that’d be one thing. But it’s also about 10m of walking to get to any public transit. It’s great if you’re out all day, but can make it feel costly to get going

Perfect location, clean and nice rooms with everything you need for a comfortable stay, safe lockers, spacious kitchen with everything you need to cook whatever you want and big fridges, the staff is very friendly and helpful, especially the girl Matilda (hope I spelled your name correctly), who helped me so much and is the most patient person ever! I enjoyed staying at the hostel for the second time and I am looking forward to come here for the third time!

Friendly staff, clean spaces, good place to make new friends

I was in a private room and the mattress was so uncomfortable. It was a very flat mattress. Regarding breakfast, I don’t feel it was good value as they do not longer offer juice included in the same price. I have stayed many times here and the last time the breakfast was more basic and in smaller portions.

Very good quality hostel. I like the beds with curtains, was also pretty comfortable. Very clean bathrooms and rooms. The staff is so friendly and I liked the cafe and lobby in the daytime. The AC inside of the beds are such a great idea! The room isn't too hot, just right in the summer.

At night I would like some hot drinks facilities available... Bit loud walking through a bar when I wanna go to the kitchen. Location was further than I thought. Booked this hostel for the AC with the bed, but I didn't need it since it wasn't so hot that day. My roommates were the worst :( Not the hostels fault, but didn't sleep well bc upper bed was loudly listening to her phone all night....
