The lack of common spaces in the building

Loved the location, beautiful area. Room was perfect. Plenty of room, beautifully decided and loved the penalized, big towels on a warming bar! Staff was friendly and enjoyed the nightly treats and water

Good sized room and bathroom for a city hotel. Excellent location

There was no hot water in the shower. The hotel had previously been made aware of the issue by a previous guest but it had not been resolved. When we reported the problem on our departure we were immediately offered a free breakfast which we felt was very generous.

The staff are very welcoming. I felt safe being a solo female on this trip. I was given a quiet room - it really was very quiet and peaceful. The dinners and breakfasts were lovely - the restaurant decor is perfect. The bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was also fantastic. One of the best locations.

The slamming doors of neighbouring rooms - it is very loud! Such a letdown as the hotel is honestly one of the best in London for a peaceful stay but bang in the middle of Covent Garden.

The lights in the room need adjusting. The spotlights are too bright. There also needs to be an option to have a nice warm table lamp on at night time to relax. I ended up putting the bathroom light on and switching off all the room lights - not ideal. I don't think the switches were working properly either.

Fantastic service from staff, the best location, very clean and comfortable.

You can access the stairs to the rooms straight off the street without requiring to open a single door.

I loved the location. I requested a quiet room and they accommodated this request very well. I was in the 4th floor and had a wonderful sleep. I really appreciated the quirky design of the room. The room was not very big but it was designed with much thought so everything was functional. I also really liked how there were slippers, towels and a little bag of toiletries- the little touches were really big things for a guest- at least for me.

Room was amazing and had a lovely terrace with a great view of the London Eye and rooftops. Location was also great, as were the staff and bar.

Telephone in-room couldn't dial reception, so we couldn't call them to change our breakfast order. There was no room service menu in the room, even though room service as apparently available and lastly the breakfast was delivered without any additional condiments. Otherwise it was all great.

Friendly, clean with super comfy beds and towels etc. the location is great - I was in the new part over the road. It’s a pedestrian road so no taxi access - that was fine for me as it meant it was quiet.
Ordered room service - think the restaurant would be great based on this.

I don’t drink alcohol and minibar options were limited. I had a packet of the crisps and they tasted off (it was a brand I’ve had before). The best before was in 4 days and wonder if they just were off - really horrible, long lasting chemical taste. Minor points though .

The complimentary upgrade to a larger room gave us space to relax and spread out a bit - a rarity for small city hotel rooms! The location cannot be beat in the middle of Covent Garden. Amenities are lovely, including in-room Nespresso, complimentary bottled water throughout the stay and little cookies left during turndown service. Super comfortable bed.

Extremely noisy outside during the day made napping or relaxing hard - just part of being in the middle of Covent Garden's active busker scene. Some guests may not like having a physical room key which was bulky to carry around or awkward to have to turn in each time. For someone who is shorter, the bath/shower was extremely difficult for me to get in and out of (it's elevated)

This was the perfect stay for our first time to London. We loved the location of the hotel and Convent Gardens is the perfect spot to stay, especially for your first time visiting. It was easy to access the tube and buses. It was very central to all the places we wanted to visit. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I mentioned in my booking we were coming for my friends birthday and they contacted me multiple times before the trip to make sure we were receiving all the amenities in the room we wanted (double sinks, type of bed and view). We chose the courtyard view and loved it. We booked the Deluxe Double or Twin Room. We chose to have the twin beds, which was nice because they were pushed together like a king but we each had our own bedding. The decor of the whole hotel was very chic and clean.

Some of the staff and restaurant staff could be a little more friendlier and welcoming. Could do with a full length mirror some where. Walls slightly tired looking.

Lovely little hotel. Well kept and great breakfast options. Super friendly staff. One little niggle we missed during the booking process was that the hotel is actually divided into 2 smallish on different places on the street. We had 2 rooms ans got one room in each building. No big deal though.

Saturday night, 2 people in the bar, a few guests eating outside and a few guests eating inside. All good and well. Then we have the DJ. Blasting 140 decibel. Scaring people away. We couldn’t even hear what we said and sought dinner elsewhere. Not everything is a disco.
