The Bloomsbury Hotel, London

My partner and I stayed here to celebrate her birthday, after a short chat with staff after making the booking they were really accommodation for the occasion. When we arrived there were some happy birthday treats waiting for us, and it was clear the staff made an effort to make us feel special during our stay there. We visited the Club Bar (recommended) and overall a great experience. Would recommend to anyone for any occasion!

The hotel is well located for everything you might need to. The staff were open and friendly and the room was amazing. Breakfast is very good with plenty of choice.

The room was very comfortable. The lounges and bars were various and looked amazing, The staff were very friendly and went the extra mile to help us celebrate my partner’s 50th birthday.

The staff is very friendly, the location is great, and the place is clean and quiet. Compared to other London hotels, it offers reasonable value for money. Despite staying in a few nearby (slightly cheaper) hotels, this one is in the best condition

I don't know if this was related to my laptop but Wi-Fi basically doesn't work. Everything worked well on my cellphone but had this issue with my laptop.

Everything was Wonderfull.The staff was beyond helpful.I had a booking for another hotel in which the minute I checked in I had to leave due to the "style"of the hotel.It was terrible so within five minutes I had to find another hotel around the area to move.I booked it through booking and walked to it .The minute I walked in ,after describing my situation all of the staff were extremely helpful.They even offered welcome drinks for me and my daughter to help us relax after the shock we went through.The hotel's bar is amazing, the room great and our stay there was relaxed and enjoyable.I will stay there again.

There was really nothing not to like. Rooms were very comfortable, particularly having both tea and coffee facilities in the room, as well as plenty of water. Bathroom nicely equipped with large fluffy white towels versus the smaller, thin towels often found in hotels - good hairdryer too. Every member of staff encountered across every ‘department’ were friendly and welcoming. Fantastic decor and ambiance in the Coral Room - very large with a variety of comfortable seating. Fantastic place to start and end the evening after theatre. Staff serving there, despite being very busy, were very efficient and friendly. Overall gave the impression that the employees work as a team and enjoy what they are doing.

Everything in the hotel was extraordinary! When you arrive, the staff is super friendly and professional, the rooms are spacious modern and clean, the hotel is well decorated and even have amazing bars and dining in it! I have expected a great hotel but it exceeded it, one of the best hotels I stayed in. I have again to mention the staff which was amazing, professional, friendly and super helpful! The hotel is located in the center of the city and it is very easy to go from there to any place you choose without issues, you got the Oxford circus station nearby and by walk you can get to all main streets around such as Oxford st. The hotel offers a lot of really good bar and dining experience which elevate your stay and its awesome for who like to drink and eat as well. We will definitely come back when we visit London again!

All the staff were fantastic from the moment we arrived at the steps of The Bloomsbury - reception (Shannon), The Coral Room, The Dalloway. The hotel was beautiful and its location is great.

Tea/coffee with biscuits in the room were excellent. Comfy bed.

Why is everywhere so dark? The reception is so dark to read any documents. Please get some proper lighting. Also, the reception area is so small.

Great location, Fantastic reception and door staff. Rooms were comfortable and clean and housekeeping staff were prompt and efficient. Hotel is close to many of the theatres.

We were upgraded to a luxury studio suite and it was really lovely. The staff were great and the dinner in the restaurant was great.

The only thing I wasn't overly happy with was the shower in the room. The pressure was not good on warm. When you turned the pressure on more, the water went freezing cold so you could only shower with half the pressure. You also couldn't make the water any hotter.

The terrace restaurant didn’t really work in January although the great staff put us in the Coral room.

Great hotel, good location and close to the tube. The staff was most welcoming and helpful, very personable. We stayed in more of a family room which was more private and located away from the primary guest rooms. We were visiting over Christmas and found a cute little stocking on our door Christmas morning filled with goodies. The hotel also had a cozy reception area where you can enjoy a cup of complimentary mulled wine.

From the moment you arrived there was a warm welcome the staff were super efficient and we we able to check in early. The room was beautiful everything you could possible need. The bed was comfortable the linen soft and luxurious. The towels soft and fluffy. Breakfast was delicious 10/10 .

The hotel is in su h a great location, staff were excellent from consierge to bar staff, great breakfast and the beds were so comfy. The turn down service was nice and we were left fresh water daily.

Our room was next ti the lift, and other guests were noisy when going to their room late so next we would ask if we could stay in another location of thr hotel.

Great location for exploring central London. The staff in all areas of the hotel were all absolutely lovely and very helpful.

There was a comfortable lounge opposite reception and as the weather was very chilly I'd have liked to have relaxed there with a book while having a brandy, but no drinks are permitted in the lounge. A small point only.

Beautifully appointed room and bathroom, flawless linen. The staff are helpful, attentive and professional.

The coming and going of fellow guests at night, simply walking and talking in the corridors, opening and closing their doors is enough to wake one. The walls of the rooms and doors could have done with a lot more sound deadening.

Wonderful and lovely location, hotel, rooms, breakfast, lunch and dinner service. The food is excuisite. Great conference cervices. Big plus for a great concierge service. Big plus for all the staff. A big thank you and see you soon!

Perfect place to explore the city on a walk. Very friendly employees and perfect service as well. We asked for a second duvet which was brought within a couple of minutes. Amazing bar downstairs. Very clean room.
