The disturbance caused by the room cleaner, who slams the doors shut, which disturbs the guest and wakes him up from his sleep in the early morning hours.

Everything was lovely, great staff and good food. We got an upgrade so that was a pleasant surprise.

15% discretionary charge was added to our two rooms for the two nights. I had not been notified in advance but luckily saw it before paying the bill . Both myself and my friend had already tipped staff for service. The only other downside was a lot of noise in the middle of the night from works at the Dominion Theatre, which backs onto the hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Rated as a 4-star hotel, but its standard feels more like 4+. Very convenient and well-designed room and bathroom. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Excellent location.

The room was lovely - very comfortable. The staff were amazing - warm, competent, everyone knew our names. Breakfasts were excellent and staff were wonderful. Historic building with modern touches. Hotel is elegant but not stuffy.

Next time, we might choose a quieter area of London. Hotel itself is quiet and on a side street but area around is very busy. It is convenient though to Chinatown, Covent Garden, Soho and the West End.

The staff was amazing. The facility was beautiful, clean and well managed. They staff was over accommodating and made recommendations for our stay to places to eat , visit and direction. Would absolutely stay again and recommend.

There wasn't anything that I would recommend be changed regarding our stay. There was one small mishap where the room service didn't make it to our room and the manager immediately called upon notice and offered us a complimentary breakfast for the slight inconvenience. I must say that the breakfast was well worth it.

I liked the hotel and the fantastic room interior, breakfast and the location.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Bloomsbury Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The second room we received was beautifully designed—cozy, with a classic British charm complemented by tasteful Egyptian-inspired accents. It felt elegant and thoughtfully curated. The Coral Room was a true highlight—stunning interiors, a lovely atmosphere, and a fantastic breakfast. We especially enjoyed sitting there with a cup of tea and soaking in the ambiance. Their selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails was creative and fun. We also had a wonderful dinner at Dalloway Terrace. The food was delicious, and our waitress went above and beyond to make the evening special—attentive, kind, and truly memorable service. The downstairs bar, The Bloomsbury Club Bar, was another favorite. Alex the bartender was amazing—friendly and skilled, crafting incredible cocktails with flair. Again, we appreciated the unique Egyptian theme woven into the drinks. The location was perfect—central, with the Tube and bus just steps away, and lots of restaurants and food halls nearby. Tucked behind a theater, the hotel felt like a hidden oasis. Climbing the front steps, it was as if we were entering a different world.

If there's one area that could be improved, it’s the late-night room service—the menu was quite limited to snacks, and they were frequently out of the main dishes. It also would have been lovely to have a spa or sauna on-site, especially for a hotel of this caliber. That said, these were small details, and we still thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay.

A 5% discretionary accommodation service is added to the bill. You can ask for it to be removed, but it should not be added to the bill in the first place. Housekeeping came by at around 5 pm. Way too late.

The location of this hotel was excellent! Easy tube access and walk ability. The front desk staff and concierge were superb. So helpful with all my needs. Highly recommend The Bloomsbury for your London stay! I will be back!

Great location close to museum. Stunning hotel interiors and bar area. Staff were All super helpful on our one night stay following a long haul flight. Was a great place to rest and explore in our short time in London.

Small rooms (pretty standard in London though) so difficult if you have two suitcases so would probably get a larger room next time, otherwise couldn’t fault it!

Everything about this hotel is perfect The staff at the door to help you if needed or just to welcome you . The room is perfectly appointed with everything you need. The whole atmosphere is li key .

The concierge staff were super friendly and welcoming. The cleaning staff were really lovely and all aspects felt like personal touches were considerate and lovely.

The hotel was fabulous, although I booked a king room which I was a little disappointed with as it was not as good as expected. However - the staff were incredible, concierge - restaurant - reception and cleaning staff were all fabulous and couldn't do enough for you. Food was great and the location and facilities were fantastic.. We had an amazing time for my birthday, celebrating with friends and would definitely go back.

We asked for a quiet room, and were put in room 316. On our first night the restaurant/bar were moving furniture around til about 12.15am! Not a very restful start to our 2 night trip. We were informed the next day they had had an event! Surely rearranging should be done earlier or advise guests there could be an issue with noise. Next night there was some table moving up to about 10-10.30pm, but we hadn’t gone to bed at that time fortunately.

This is a lovely hotel in a great location if you want to shop Oxford and Regent Street, attend the theatre or the entertainment district (all within walkable distance). The rooms are well appointed with very comfortable beds and lovely linens. The bathroom is very large and modern by Euroopean standards. The staff was friendly, helpful, courteous and professional in particular Ivan and Peter. We couldn't have asked for more. Turn down rarely happens and it was so nice to return to a cozy room with little treats left. One of the best.

Although the rooms are well appointed we found them to be very dark. We realize the hotel is eco-friendly and we support this initiative but that would be the one criticism.

Only 1 lift and staff members were using it too much and we could hardly use it because of this.

Gym was adequate but a little small

Great location and super friendly staff, bars were stylish yet relaxed and friendly. Loved the Bloomsbury club for nightcap listening to live music.

Food was really good, but staying for 5 days it would be nice to see more variety in menus between Bar and Restaurant, no specials. Need to get work on second lift finished soon.

The location is amazing, in the heart of London right between Soho and Covent Garden. Rooms and Service are immaculate.

The breakfast is good but a bit pricey. Fortunately there is Elwin right around the corner

beautiful rooms and gorgeous bathroom, great service and very helpful staff, the staff that cleaned the room daily took the time to fold/ sort our items which we didn't expect but was a lovely touch to come back to a totally neat and organised room, very close to buses and train ( a 5 minute walk) so very easy to get all over London,

The Bloomsbury is a lovely hotel in a lovely location. We could walk to everything. The hotel bar and restaurant are absolutely beautiful. The only thing I might caution is if you book a room with 2 beds, they just split up a king into 2 twins but keep the one headboard so your head is directly under the built in reading lights which droop down and hit your head all night.

The Bloomsbury hotel and its wonderful staff ensured that my wife and I had truly memorable stay in London . I can’t recommend the hotel highly enough and we will definitely stay there again when we visit London.

My partner and I stayed here to celebrate her birthday, after a short chat with staff after making the booking they were really accommodation for the occasion. When we arrived there were some happy birthday treats waiting for us, and it was clear the staff made an effort to make us feel special during our stay there. We visited the Club Bar (recommended) and overall a great experience. Would recommend to anyone for any occasion!

I don't know if this was related to my laptop but Wi-Fi basically doesn't work. Everything worked well on my cellphone but had this issue with my laptop.

Everything was Wonderfull.The staff was beyond helpful.I had a booking for another hotel in which the minute I checked in I had to leave due to the "style"of the hotel.It was terrible so within five minutes I had to find another hotel around the area to move.I booked it through booking and walked to it .The minute I walked in ,after describing my situation all of the staff were extremely helpful.They even offered welcome drinks for me and my daughter to help us relax after the shock we went through.The hotel's bar is amazing, the room great and our stay there was relaxed and enjoyable.I will stay there again.
