The Beaumont Hotel, London

Staff were very friendly and helpful, great location. We could walk everywhere.

The location was great,

I didn’t like the front desk experience. When I arrived, the room was already available, but they told me I had to pay £50 extra per day if I wanted to check in early. I refused, so they made me wait in the lobby for hours—even though it was the same room that was ready. I was exhausted and even fell asleep while waiting. At checkout, they also handed me a paper asking for an additional £100 as a service tip, which I refused and paid only £20, although even that wasn’t deserved. The stay itself was fine, but the reception was unprofessional and clearly tried to charge more for things that should have been included. Be cautious—don’t agree to pay more for what’s already part of your booking

The staff could not have been more helpful and kind! I was working on a very important project and needed printing and shipping, etc. They did it all perfectly and with a great attitude. I cannot recommend this hotel more highly.

Perfect location, easy foot access to such a great surroundings. The room was great and the team was very attentive to our needs. It was such a pleasure stay. Had the chance to enjoy the spa and a treatment, quite a blessing. They had a lot of small gestures. We will definitely go back.

Only thing that let it down was the breakfast. Tough overcooked toast and bacon. It didn’t match how perfect everything else was.

Our go to favourite hotel when staying in London… the Beaumont is an absolute gem right in the heart of central London, we love it. Just thinking about it brings a smile to my face as not only is the hotel stunning but the staff are incredible… if you want exemplary service and to feel like a VIP…. don’t hesitate to book… honestly you won’t be disappointed. We are return visitors and have booked to stay again for my birthday in July. Can’t wait to be welcomed back…

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Tucked away off the busier streets. Beautiful art-deco around the hotel. Room was a good size for London standards. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Very comfortable. Housekeeping was very good. Plenty of space in en-suite. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that.

Nothing really but I would say the underfloor heating in the en-suite was a bit too warm.

The only thing I didn't like was that upon check out, I was asked by the front desk if I would like to add another 10% to the bill as a tip for the staff. This was obviously a directive by management but quite frankly, I found it offensive. First of all, I would expect management to pay their staff at such an establishment appropriately. Secondly, if i want to top staff, that is a personal thing which i prefer to do directly with the staff and not to be put in the spot by a management directive.

Such thoughtful service and special touches

We love everything about this hotel. This was our 2nd stay, with our 1st last Christmas) and it was just as magnificent. It was my husbands 70th birthday and the staff made such an effort for him. Was a really lovely stay. Staff were exceptional, food delicious and room was charming. Travelling to London again in a couple of months and will only stay at the Beaumont.

Beautiful hotel, with a great location (walking distance to Hyde Park, Regent Street, Oxford Street, Soho etc) and exceptional service (including a hotel car that guests can get a ride on if available), friendly & professional staff (pre-breakfast croissant to go as I had an early flight), great amenities and tasty food. What more could you wish for?

Breakfast cereals were awful. No muesli, no granola, only cheap supermarket stuff. I supplied my own!

All the staff, reception, bar, restaurant were excellent, friendly & very helpful. Rooms were large & a delight, everything you could possibly need. Breakfast & dinner offered great choice & very good quality dishes. We enjoyed it very much. Very central location especially for Knightsbridge & Sloane street / Square.

breakfast was first class and location was fantastic , no need for taxi's , we normally stay at the savoy and this hotel exceeded this for room quality , breakfast was better than the savoy and the location was fantastic , a real hidden gem in my opinion . the spa and gym were first class and very modern and clean . the bar in the hotel matched the savoy American bar minus the piano !!

the only downside would be no swimming pool but the overall package made up for this

The location was excellent. The room was spacious ,well furnished with all the necessary amenities.o

Spacious Room but Disappointing View I the major downside was the location of the room—it was on the first floor, but when I opened the curtains, the only view was a wall, making it feel more like a basement or lower-level floor. It would have been nice to have been informed about this in advance, as it significantly impacted the overall experience. If a view matters to you, I’d recommend requesting a higher-floor room.

One of Mayfair finest hotels, service and ambiance is top tier. All corners are classy, loved the paintings all around the hotel.

Twin beds are small and not comfy for tall or wide individuals.

Room was superb Amazing service within the restaurant and the bar areas. Front of house is immaculate Use of the house car dropping us off to our restaurant was a superb start to a great valentines night. Will be back soon
