Staff were clearly very well trained and very accommodating.

A few room add-ons would have been nice. Ironing board. Water. Tea making facilities.

Lovely room with modern tech such as controlling curtains, lights and tv from an iPad. Different lighting and mood settings on tv available, comfy bed and decent storage space. Shower had both detachable option & rainfall which is a plus for if you don’t want to wash your hair!

No kettle/tea/coffee which most hotels provide for free. There is food downstairs though but I’d like a kettle in my room.

Great location just by Tower Bridge. Modern, clean, close to public transport.

The rooms are certainly on the small side, but the overall design makes up for it.

The hospitality is exceptional! I love citizenM hotels, the decor throughout and ambiance controls in the room makes for such a pleasant stay :)

Fabulous big bed but quilt wasn’t big enough to cover it so for two people, not ideal. Sink in bathroom was very low.

The bedroom was very big and we had a lot of space :)! Also when we checked in, we could choose our view and it was all done via ipad there, so it was very convenient! same goes for the check out. Overall a very good experience. The hotel is at the underground station "tower hill" and right in front is the tower of london and the tower bridge. There is a rooftop bar and we choose to drink there one evening. Was a great view and atmosphere. The cocktail was also great. So we are very happy with our choice of hotel here :) Thank you again!

Exactly as advertised, small room, but it had everything needed for a couple of nights

I can not fault the whole place, from the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff. The little touches in the room were lovely ,had a little teddy bear in the room who I decided to call Alfred. The hotel had thought of everything to even being able to borrow a brolly , the touch pad to control everything was really nice. Loved the roof bar. The place felt welcoming and every member of staff was so polite helpful and had a smile on their face. We will definitely be back . We had the tower room and the view of London tower was amazing

The only thing I missed was I do like a cup of tea in the morning before I get up and there is no coffee of tea making facilities in the room you have to go down to the lobby

The room was very clean and modern. Hotel is next to a tube station. Was able to check in early with a list of available rooms to choose from. Bed was comfy.

As it’s a popular hotel lifts where always busy with people always in them and going to different floors. People seemed to be using the lift to access a bar on the top floor not sure if they were guests of the hotel or not. Would be great to have stair access on offer and clearly sign posted. I did see a sign for stairs which said emergency use only.

fantastic location right next to Tower Hill tube stop. the best bed I've ever stayed in, and the view out the window was exceptional. the roof top bar was wicked and the staff were very helpful.

Amazing room facing the Tower of London. Great location. Clean and comfortable. Spectacular views from roof bar. Very good breakfast.

Four lifts, only two in service, and one of those two had problems.

The location is just perfect, literally on top of the tube station and our room faced out to the incredible Towet of London. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that, but the room has a fridge if you wanted to get supplies of your own.

If you're not very technically minded you may find everything controlled by the iPad a challenge, but there are switches near the bed if you need to get up in the night and not faff about with the iPad!

I personally think it is ridiculous that I booked through booking .com months ago only to realise that I was overcharged by £120!! By doing this and nothing could be done!!

Loved the style of the room and the general functionality of all things in there. Breakfast service was fantastic

The bed wasn't very comfortable and the iPad screen was cracked but still fully functional, there were no curtains (despite having a curtains control button) only blackout blinds which had some wholes in them.

how modern was everything

When we arrived around midnight, we entered the hotel and the person at the front desk didn’t even greet us. Instead, they immediately asked what we wanted. At the very least, when you arrive tired at your hotel, you expect a warm welcome.

Great clean rooms, really hightech, too. Nice lobby. Underground right under the building, so well connected to everything in the city.

The room cleanliness could have been better. The bathroom floor had a few hairs and there was a glass cloth found in our bed but overall was fine

The staff and location

The iron was not working and I had to communicate this to several members of staff, including those who do not speak English. However, it was a very nice inconvenient stay.

Great location and view of Tower of London. Very convenient for tube. Was allocated a Tower view room due to availability despite only booking an internal view. Loved how easily everything was controlled by ipad and ability to cast own content to TV. Nice rooms and interesting common/bar areas downstairs/on top floor.

Due to the positioning of the beds pushed tight against the windows, there are areas that I imagine are difficult to clean e.g. there were crumbs and fluff on the edge and down the side of the matress at the window side. Having seen location of windows of internal rooms, I'm glad I didn't end up with one. I don't think it would be very pleasant and blinds would likely need to be kept closed.

Early check in 2 hours beforehand no extra charge and choose your room, we had 1st floor room with a view of the tower of London no extra charge again and it was worth it. Rooms were more than comfortable and shower was clean and hot. IPad went down but was remedied straight away after telling staff and back working to control room functions albeit I had the app on my phone which worked just as well. Free drink voucher on arrival for the top floor drinks lounge as well and paid for breakfast which was great variety hot and plenty of it. Check in and out went smoothly for us and we never had any issues except the IPad which was resolved immediately whilst there. Partner liked the free sparkling water refill option bottles you could take up to your room.

We upgraded to a tower view room and, it was totally the right decision, the view was worth the money in itself, wow, we could have actually stayed in bed all day just looking through the window and people watching lol The hotel is in a fabulous location, tube St right underneath, gardens, pubs, restaurants, shops all footsteps away....great work spaces and chilling areas all over the ground level, bar, restaurant, tvs, sofas, books, coffee/cake shop on site. Views from the rooftop bar were just fabulous, 100% would stay there again and again.

It’s one of those hotels where they have though through everything to make the stay easy and comfortable without paying a fortune. No frills. Just perfectly thought through
