Check in was extremely disappointing, I emailed a month prior to arrange an early check in and a high floor room as I was staying for my 30th birthday. I arrived at the property at 11am and was told my room was not ready and I’d have an email at 1pm/2pm latest. After wondering around Vegas for 3 hours waiting for the room I still had no email so went back to the hotel and had to queue for check in again and was told the room was ready. The staff member didn’t seem very apologetic. It ruined my day as we had a brunch booked at 3pm and didn’t get into our room until 2.30pm which was really disappointing for such a nice and expensive hotel I expected a great deal better.

Cosmo offers good value for money compared with other hotels on the Strip. The location is excellent, the casino has a great atmosphere, and there’s a strong selection of restaurants to choose from. The bathroom was huge with a great shower and bath, and the jet bath was a nice touch.

The room decor felt dated and a bit dark, and the “sexy” artwork isn’t really my thing. Our room phone didn’t work, and we were told this was a known issue. It made getting our luggage from valet a hassle since we had to go down 53 floors ourselves. The hotel is huge and impressive, but that size can make small problems more noticeable. The room was quite dark, and while we loved the balcony and the Planet Hollywood view, there’s no soundproofing. You can hear the Strip and music all night. Some people might like that energy, but it’s worth mentioning. We were given $150 in food and drink credit, which was a nice touch, but I got very unwell after eating at STK.

It’s a convenient spot on the strip. Inside was clean. Lots of space.

The 51st story wrap around terrace has a BROKEN railing - so be careful. And the glass was filthy, as were the outside chairs. The indoor curtails were broken in 3 places so it didn’t close right and looked very low rent. Something is loose inside around the ceiling and glass separation from sleeping area to bathroom. It made a loud nonstop knocking/buzzing ALL night and woke us up. When I pressed on the glass it seemed to stop. Not exactly relaxing is it? For my $1200 total invoice for 2 nights this is unacceptable.

No path rooms personal kits, nor room’s complementary welcoming (Exp: drinking water , small coffee machine).

Rooms were nice, good shower and the bed was really comfortable

The cost on the stuff in the minibar was absolutely crazy like $18 for a bottle of water. I know we’re in the desert but I’m sure it’s cheaper on the moon 😂

If you’re looking for a great location, the Cosmopolitan is the right hotel for you. The location itself is excellent, with a variety of restaurant options. We loved the Henry for breakfast and appreciated the F&B credit we received.

Both stays we had were in a handicap-accessible room, which was fine, however, the water ran out of both showers and began to flood the bathroom floor.

There was no slipper in room and the light was not enough in the room. I had to spend time to find how to turn on lights and it was not enough Some of your staff in check-in desk great, some was not good at work

Hotel is fancy with nice restaurants, nice casino & great decoration. Jawad at the front desk was super helpful. Staff is cool overall even if you feel sometimes that you are just a number !

It takes 45min-1 hour to get the room service. The hotel is huge so you have to be patient. Unlike other hotels on the strip, you don’t have a cvs or cheap options to eat.

Great location, great views and nicest hotel/casino in the area I reckon!

Location Easy access

The elevator experience was unacceptable. Despite having six elevators designated for our floor, only three were operational. This created significant congestion when moving in and out of the rooms, often resulting in full-capacity elevators and waiting times exceeding 15 minutes.

The room was huge. The shower and tub were big.

Lighting was bad. Bed was so soft and uncomfortable, worn out.

Very central to the strip so we could walk to where we want to go without taking a car. Lots of restaurants to eat inside the hotel.

Elevators were slow at times especially around check out time. Our room was clean for the most part but bathroom walls were dirty as well as the shower- mildew, etc.

the gym was amazing. the variety of restaurants is very good. You can walk in other hotels indoor - that is good as well.

It is impossible to get breakfast between 8-12 am without waiting for 1,5-2 h! The minimum bet at the casino tables are too high.

We took terrace room with strip view. The room was very big and pleasant. We enjoyed the most beautiful view from our terrace. The hotel located in the middle of the strip. AMAZING & BEAUTIFUL HOTEL! Highly recommended!

The elevator took time to get down and you could wait 30mins to go up and down the elevator. Only 3 elevator out of 6 was working through out our stay. It’s a busy hotel

Central, great room, clean, amazing staff but the noisiest place ever. Music from the pool until 1.30am.We were on the 29th floor and could hear the music blasting! Awful. Will never stay there again.

Our room was not clean, Crumbs on the room table, dry water marks on the tub in the restroom and there was a “pill/medication” left in the safe box that was there when we got the room.

I've stayed before and everything was perfect, but this time the cleanliness was subpar. There was a corner in the bathroom obviously not cleaned when I arrived (visible toilet paper remains) and the next day the cleaner left their washing cloth on top of a lamp

Locaion was good. It was very convenient and easy to access everywhere since this hotel is located in the central area.

Elevators took forever. It seemed like some of them for our floor (59), weren’t even on because the only ones that ever came were on one side of the wall.

Check in staff was excellent and helpful. Location was excellent Room was clean and tidy but could do with modernising and would have expected in room music system and control centre for lights, music curtains etc. Balcony had great views of the fountain and strip.

Staff at the sports book bar were slow and not very attentive.

I liked the location a lot. You feel safe within the hotel. As it was a girls trip for us, it was important. The parking (extra 20 bucks) and check in-check out was ok. Although, the receptionist (Hello Mayra) tried to help my problem, she couldn't help. The hotel was good with its hidden rooms and spectacular view.

I choose a double bed room and I requested a fountain view. I did it that way because the hotel said it will be ok. However, when I went to check in they said it's not ok for a one night stay. So I had to pay extra and changed my room from a double bed one to a king bed one due to the fountain view.

The location of The Cosmopolitan is absolutely unbeatable. We stayed in a Terrace Suite with a fountain view, and the sight of the Bellagio fountains from our spacious balcony was nothing short of magical—especially at night. Sitting out and watching the fountain shows was a highlight of our trip, though it was too hot to enjoy the balcony during the day. The hotel is conveniently connected to the Miracle Mile Shops via a short indoor walkway, or you can cross the street into Planet Hollywood to access the stores. This mall offers a wide range of reasonably priced restaurants and shops—definitely more affordable than the food and retail options within The Cosmopolitan itself. If you’re looking for snacks, fruits, or quick essentials, skip the Cosmo’s in-house store (which is wildly overpriced) and walk over to Miracle Mile instead—you’ll likely save 30–50%, depending on the item. The casino floor was well-ventilated, and we barely noticed any smoke indoors. This was a welcome contrast to The Wynn, where the casino felt smoky even while dining in an open restaurant near the floor. Eggslut is one of the few on-site breakfast options, and while the food is fantastic, be prepared for a wait—lines start forming as early as 7:00 a.m., and it took us around 30 minutes to get through. We didn’t travel with kids, so I can’t speak to family-friendly amenities, but for couples or adults seeking a central location, stunning views, and easy access to dining and shopping, I would highly recommend The Cosmopolitan.

The in-room dining service was prompt but quite overpriced, as were the minibar and fridge items (even bottled water), which we avoided altogether. The bathroom was spacious and stylish, but when we arrived, the shampoo and conditioner holders were empty and there was no toilet paper stocked. Thankfully, a quick call to room service resolved this promptly. However, the biggest drawback—and frankly, a surprising oversight for a hotel of this caliber—is the complete lack of an in-room coffee or tea setup. No coffee maker, no kettle—nothing. For travelers who enjoy a morning cup without heading out, this was a real letdown and felt like a basic amenity that should be non-negotiable.

Check in was kind of crazy, lots of people and a big line. Manageable tho. Valet staff 10/10, but reception could do a better job, some people were kind others not so much.

Minimum bet at most tables I wanted to play was $25. Adjacent tables were $50 minimum bet. That's too high.

Balcony views were great!

I was under impression that I had a room that had also bathroom/tub views of Bellagio fountains., but it did not.

The staff went over and above at check in really appreciated their help.

Restaurants were excellent. Great selection of food. Loved the speak easy - The Ski Lodge was the best.

The bell hop service is completely inefficient in that it takes longer for the bellhop to arrive than it would if one could retrieve a luggage cart and load their own luggage. With twenty guests in line to check-in, there were two receptionist, again not a very efficient way of providing a pleasant guest experience.
