The Cosmopolitan Hotel, Las Vegas

Gorgeous hotel and casino with great restaurants on site, got upgraded to a terrace suite by the lovely front desk staff and had an insane view of the strip from the 59th floor! There was also no line for check-in at 3pm on a Friday, contrary to what I've seen in a lot of these reviews, so I was very pleasantly surprised. Room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully appointed. The perfect place to stay if seeing a show at the Chelsea Theater!

No tea or coffee in the room despite plenty of room fir machine in suite. Lights not working, bath plug leaked - just seemed a bit soulless and unloved. Horrendous queues to check in.

I booked with the expensive price but the room they gave me was, bad it doesn’t even have a bathtub & coffee machine and I even asked them to switch it for me, but they didn’t wanna do it so I spent two days at the same room & I was very sick I had allergy when I stay at the smoking area so I had very bad experience they changed it on the last day so I had a very bad experience!!

The room they gave me is not what I paid It’s not even compare it. They gave me the very cheap room that what they make me mad. Even I asked them to switch it for me. There wasn’t willing to change it for me.

There isn’t anything I didn’t like. Just a little dirty in the bathroom drawers but it is Vegas.

Staff was not together or very friendly with the exception of two front desk people most are cold and no personality whatsoever. It was horrible having a man on our balcony that we didn't discover until we were in the a intimate scenario. Apparently they gave the ready when no one actually checked in with our balcony suite. Then our floors ice machine was broken and we couldn't make drinks without waiting for room service ice. And our jacuzzi tub was not working so just a regular tub....yuck. we got married and when my new husband tried carrying me over the threshold of the door it closed and locked, the staff took over 45 minutes to get us back in and we were almost late for our wedding dinner reservation. It was just not ideal. I thought it was beautiful from the balcony and the hotel was so beautiful but I would not recommend it. Go to a neighboring hotel and get treated like you paid 2k for 4 nights.

How rude the staff was especially at the day club… we were only people in there on a Thursday bought a day bed spent over 1k in extras and the server was so rude never checked in on us.

Hotel is getting quite tired now, lots of damage throughout, missing hallway lights, pillows flat and lumpy, fridge was frozen with ice, balcony railing broken, missing nightstand light. Our room was near the housekeeping entrance, there was no notice but if the door was left wedge open then the small was aweful. Bulbs out in the room. Generally tired and run down, DESPERATELY NEEDS AN UPDATE TO THE ROOMS.

This is such a gorgeous hotel! Loved this place! Super fun, clean , great spot and so many great restaurants in the hotel.

Food and service from the food hall was excellent.

We’ve always been loyal to the Cosmopolitan, staying in the quiet Chelsea Tower with no issues. This time, guest services convinced us to try the Boulevard Tower, assuring us the 66th floor would be quiet. It wasn’t. A day club DJ started at 11 a.m. Saturday, making it impossible to relax in our room or use the balcony despite multiple closed doors. I was recovering from illness, and my husband, who has PTSD, found the repetitive bass distressing. Sunday’s DJ grew louder throughout the day, and at 11 p.m., the noise resumed, disrupting our sleep. When we finally requested a new room, we were moved to an ADA room in the Chelsea Tower on the 27th floor, directly above the club, where the noise was even worse. Attempts to return to our previous room were denied. We got no sleep, felt dismissed by staff, and spent $600 to change our flights and leave early. The experience made it clear the Cosmopolitan prioritizes clubgoers over hotel guests. Additionally, maintenance issues—like a faulty tub stopper and lime scale—made the room feel less upscale. After years of loyalty, we’ll stay elsewhere next time.

Location of the hotel is perfect. The hotel is very modern and comfortable. The Cosmo was the perfect base for our short stay in Las Vegas, and I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone travelling to Las Vegas. It's suitable for families, and couples.

There really is nothing not to like about this hotel.

nothing about cosmo is good, I found hair in my bederoom, one of the bed sheets had blood on it and when I told them about it they told me that they are fully booked and they can't move me to another room.

when I arrived at the hotel, they charged me for taxes and resort fees which I already paid to booking.com, when I said I have already paid these fees they said if you don't pay it to us now, we will not admit you to the room and they were very rude about it.

Value for money across the board. Not even a coffee maker, no glasses, no curlery etc all at huge charges. Room service nad selection and not bery good and totally overpriced! This all in a 1.000 a night room! US service seems to get worse and worse by the day!

Breakfast at Henry’s. Excellent food and staff are amazing. The whole facility is great, really a one stop shop, you don’t have to leave, everything is there.

Smoking indoors. Coming from Australia where this is not permitted and being a non smoker this was a bit off putting.

The staff put us in a room that had loud music outside for the 1st night and we requested a change to a different side of hotel yet, it was a hassle to pack up again to move. They knowingly did this to rush us into a room. Kind of frustrating. I had to haggle with manager to comp at least one night. Also, the room power was only working in living room so needed someone to come fix the problem.

No tea or coffee facilities in the room. No free water unless you’re willing to drink it out of the faucet. Bottle water prices are astronomical. CVS pharmacy was our go to for bulk water purchases, I mean for the price and the resort fee….come on !

We order few items to the room which never arrived and water temperature was never properly calibrated even after asking them to fix it.

Bed and room were comfortable, lots of dining options, staff was incredible. Eddy at China Poblano was amazing! The food was delicious and loved the vibe. Rhonda at the Chandellier Bar was amazing! Chelsea and Julia were also great! Blue Ribbon dinner was tasty and great. Julia at the Chelsea pool was attentive and great!

Room did not have any coffee!!! Boooooo! And the fan didn’t work in the bathroom and the iPad never worked. There was old carry out food left in our hallway outside somebody room for a couple days. Lighting in the water closet was super dim - very dark. Secret pizza was old and over warmed up. Crunchy dry and burnt. Elevators were hot and stuffy!

It took a while to check in. I also lost my room key during the trip and it took a while to get it replaced. Always a line at the front desk.

Having a balcony with great views of the strip really set the room apart from other venues I have stayed at. Great location with being interconnected to Bellagio. Spacious room with all the amenities you would expect.

We arrived quite late due to flight delays and were very disappointed it took over an hour to check into this hotel. There were approximately 20 people ahead of me in the queue and they only had 3 staff checking people in. The process was very slow, taking around 10 to 15 minutes to check in each guest. The Holiday Inn has faster check in service, It meant that our first night in Vegas was complete write off as we were just to tired by the time we got to our room after midnight. Also, I understand its a premium hotel but $15 USD for a bottle of water in-room is completely over the top! Staff were not very friendly and a bit snobby, could work on being more hospitable.

Our tv was not working and we called the front desk and they told us they was sending up engineer to fix it but never did and came the next day after we had to call them again. Our floor didn’t have ice so when we called them about the ice they told us we can get as complimentary but later I found out I was charged $10 for that bucket of ice. Other then that everything was fantastic

Amazing location. Corridors and room did not smell of cigarettes. All staff were friendly.

Being given a dirty room on check in was quite silly. There was no lighting from the ceiling in our room which made some of the main areas still quite dark. The bathroom wasn't very clean and the sink kept clogging and draining very slowly. Elevators frequently had terrible wait times.

The Cosmopolitan has the high class vibe but at a very affordable price. It’s a beautiful property with lots of great photo op spots. I love that it’s located on the center of the strip for easy travel and walking distance to everything.

There was nothing about the property that I didn’t enjoy.

The couch clearly had old throw up stains on it, you don’t expect that in a suite. We also tried to pay for early check in or late check out and they were unaccommodating both days even when offered to pay.
