The LINQ Hotel, Las Vegas

The TV was hard to watch. Remote. Guide. Lag. I know most people aren't there for that.

The price was affordable. It's in the middle of the strip.

The lighting in the room wasn't good. The beds were low and uncomfortable.

I did not like that the room did not include a microwave or any designated locations in the hotel to warm up food - the room also had several noticeable maintenance and cleanliness issues, including a torn and filthy lampshade and a bathroom exhaust fan that did not work . Although the pool area had a nice atmosphere the food and beverage priced were extremely overpriced for the sizes provided - since my room was confidently located close to the pool area it would ha e been more reasonable to allow guest to bring their own food and beverages . If outside items are not permitted then the pricing and serving size should definitely be considered.

The music from the pool was loud, but stopped at 6 pm.

That it’s the middle of the strip and close to a lot of attractions

It’s a little confusing to get and out feels a bit like a maze / airport more than a hotel .

The location was great for seeing other casino and attractions. The food was very good especially House of Hash. It was easy to register and to leave. Our house keeper was very good.

The beds were not very comfortable, did not have a coffee pot, no comfortable chairs in the room and nothing in the bathroom to hold anything. Also, definitely take the rooms with a view to the strip because the view from the quiet side looks like a 3rd world country. I was just expecting better room for the price I paid.

Water in shower was barely warm. Pool area is really small, if you are planning a pool day. Room was smaller than others we have stayed and really needs updated.

I loved the location and all the activities near and around. Also how cold the air conditioner unit got was a huge plus

It is my favorite place to stay. So conveniently located in the middle of the strip. Always clean and reasonably priced.

The hotel can be confusing to get around in.

The one thing I was upset about was my view. I paid $700 for 3 nights to stay on the 3rd floor staring at a brick wall looking into what seemed like a dead alley.

I did check in online and when I went to the kiosk they weren't working, then I tried to get someone to assist and the lady directing the line was super rude to everyone that was asking questions and making smart ass comments.

While it is normal for the area and the strip, the smoking in the lobby was very obnoxious. You can barely go three meters out the building without being harassed for money. If this happens to you, walk away and do not interact with them!

The staff were great. Helpful and friendly.

I didn’t know about Nevada smoking rules and I can’t deal with smoke indoors. Having to go through the casino area where people are allowed to smoke is not good for me.

Located at the heart of Vegas. If you’re mad about Vegas then that’s the place for you. Rooms were beautiful and clean and modern etc. but could be equipped with kettle and some basic cutlery.

Again (similarly to other places in Vegas) a bit complicated layout where you have to go 10 minutes to the reception to get checked in only to go back 10 minutes to the lifts - I mean with child and luggage that’s def no fun! I wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t complain about the inability to tell what time of the day it was if you stayed near casinos for a period of time - no windows, crazy. I know it’s a money making process but for me it was unbelievable - not talking about the Linq hotel but in general taking many properties into account it felt as if you were in prison and that was not cool.

Can be a bit loud on weekends during the evenings if you have loud people in the halls or adjacent rooms.

Great location with plenty to do. Atmosphere was middle to upper class and restaurants were good. Loved the train made it easy to get around without uber.

Rooms water pressure was very bad on the 12th floor. Didnt like the $20 a day parking. No microwave or mini fridge. Room was underwhelming and there will be loud music on the pool side.

The ride share pick up is always rough, but I think the pros outweigh the cons for sure

Registered guests should not have to pay for parking or valet ($40 is ridiculous). Got an upgraded room with supposedly more square footage. Didn't seem bigger than an average room.

The pool was 21 plus and had weird hours. People were allowed to smoke inside. The hallways in the hotel were super dark and felt dirty.

Anybody can come up up-to floor rooms, elevators aren’t secured.
