Everything about the Ormond is wonderful. The breakfast, the staff, the room.

I had no water for half day on my second day. The staff apologized but it still did ruin the experience a bit. Not to mention the water was brown even when it normalized.

The pillows were too big and uncomfortable for both my partner and i. It caused abit of pain.

I like the colour combination of green + gold + black as the main theme colour of this hotel. Also the concept of this hotel is kinda old-school but elegant and nostalgic. I remember staying at this hotel 4 years back and now they still maintain the high standard they had previously. Music in the elevator is catchy. Bed is comfy. The shampoo and body conditioner are fragrantly nice! Always a pleasure staying in this hotel. Looking forward staying here again the next time I'm having staycation or special occasion.

The size of the room a bit small for that kind of price, but the view from the bed was excellent though. I'm not sure whether this hotel can be considered as child friendly, however it would be nice if baby chair is provided during breakfast time. Breakfast not so tasty as I had 4 years ago. It was a bit bland to be honest. Parking should be free for hotel guest, not to charge RM 15 per day.

The hotel and room was good, but the only thing that give it minus only aircond. It takes long to get cold.

Strategic location in the middle of the city.

1. The parking is charged for those staying at the hotel. 2. The bidet faucet is too far from the toilet seat. 3. No gymnasium, no swimming pool, no library.

Location near to MRT and many cafes at The Row - walking distance in 5-10mins. Parking is outside the hotel with flatrate of RM15 per entrance, you can validate at hotel. Staffs were really helpful, offered me to keep my car at carpark even after i checkout so i can take my time strolling around the city.

Room is bit smaller, lighting in the room a bit dim. Location of the hotel - heavy traffic during peak hours.

The interior and exterior of the hotel attracted me in the first place. The room was great and comfortable with a stunning KL Rapid view!

The location is quite strategic to go anywhere, also near the train station

The amenities and the light of bedroom, the facility is poor.

Love the aesthetics , clean and comfortable, very good location. Near to a local mall and the Row KL where the cafes are. Very near to the monorail stating as well. Love the view

Took the kings den, very small not suitable for family even with one small toddler space is a bit tight. Will recommend bigger rooms instead. Love the warn lighting but will appreciate if have more lighting options similar to normal hotels.

The Chow Kit Hotel is very stylish in a great central location and near transport. My room was beautifully designed and soundproofed, with a huge very comfortable bed and heavy curtains - I had a great sleep. The staff were so lovely and helpful, and the breakfast good.

The only minor thing I didn't like was the musak that I found a bit loud and everywhere, even lifts and corridors.

Nicely refurbished / reconstructed old building. Art Deco style. Room 519 was great. Nice view to old and new KL. Very kind staff with excellent recommendations for exploiting neighborhood - even for China town area… REXKL👍👍👍

I like everything about the hotel especially the location and cleanliness and water filter.

No bidet in the toilet. Stairs are not lighted, very dark.

Everything about this hotel is so aesthetic! the ambience was worth it, the location is just 6 mins away from Sogo KL, 4 mins away from 7E, so it was perfect! From the lobby to the room, it brings you to the 1800 vibes, even the light switch was so creative, i just love it! cons: the traffic here in chow kit was really bad so please book grab 20 mins early from your usual timing because they will stuck in a jam/traffic light.

no facial tissue or toothbrush and toothpaste was provided just like normal hotel. the parking is rm15 per day, which is would i say should be free considering we’re staying at the hotel. the room which is The Den was a bit small so i would suggest to just book King Den instead if you like bigger room

Amazing Location - both for on foot explorations as well as skyrail access. Incredible value for money.

The staff are excellent and are attentive and helpful. They are the hotel’s best asset. It was comfortable and well located for public transport.

We had a small room called The Den. The lighting was inadequate which made the room dark and not very well laid out to use hairdryer near a mirror.

Excellent location, close to monorail for easy commuting around KL. Very good breakfasts, good service, polite and attentive staff. Great hospitality. Bedroom was clean, spacious and comfortable with an excellent view over to KL Tower. Busy junction but traffic is pretty hectic across the city. Excellent value for money, would definitely stay here again.

The location is great, quite convenient to get by in town. The room size is relatively smaller than other hotels in town, however, they are very stylish, vintage style decorated with beautiful furniture.

The room was tiny.

It's clean, the finishing is well thought. Cohesive and really brings out the old KL with modern style.

The bathrooms has no bidet. Which is a MUST nowadays for self hygiene.

Although the look of the hotel is very classy, a few basic amenities are lacking, such as toilet bidet, tooth paste just to name a few. Corridor at times can feel too dark. TV programs feel very dated.

The hotel is very nice looking and most of the staff is pretty much helpful and polite - no issue here. The atmosphere around it is good and the facilities are really good as the bed is pretty comfortable and the bathroom is spacious as comfortable as well. Lobby is well taken care off and the doorman working at the front were absolutely gentleman, only nice words to them.

We had a problem while having breakfast there as my girlfriend felt sick from the French toast and spend a couple of hours throwing up in the bathroom. Moreover, and during a 3 day stay our room was never cleaned and we had to purposefully go to the reception to ask for towels and toilet paper. This was explained to us as there was a need to take care of rooms being check out first (sure I get that but explaining it this way to a customer when we are trying to get our room cleaned is a bit weird I would say and not very service-oriented). They did try to come and clean the room at 5pm but we were on the room resting a bit after exploring the city during the day. This needs to be done way earlier to ensure guests are not in the room - major fail in my opinion, moreover for such a highly-rated place

It took a little while for our iron to be sent, I had to call twice but all good.

We had an amazing corner room with incredible views of the city! The room and bathroom are very well styled and decorated. Very comfortable bed and I can definitely recommend staying here.

I personally like a little coffee/tea facility in the room and this was not available. Communication between staff can be better. There was a slight issue, but somehow this seemed to be lost between shifts.

- Love the attitude of the staff (forgotten to get his name) as during my check-in the room given is differ from what i had booked but informed back the first person that assist me to check-in and he had assigned/change me to the exact room that i had booked to the extend he assist me to carry my luggage during changing the room and keep apologizing. - Check in and check out is really smooth and which it doesn’t took that long. - Love the facilities of the room its really calm and peaceful. - Its really safe for ladies who doing solo traveling - The water dispenser is really superb as i don’t have to worry to carry so much water from the supermarket as it has been provide by the hotel

- the light is a bit too dim probably the management can consider to lighten a bit the light especially lift area. - probably management should prepare the toilet bidet spray but im not sure other room but for my room there is no toilet bidet spray everything were superb only concern on this area mention above
