Hotel Six Senses, Ibiza

this is an exceptional property in every respect.

Nice location with beautiful view from the pool and from the beach. Facilities are new, modern but have a certain touch of “fake” and “wanna be”… it could be taken out from a hipster magazine. The food is very good with plenty of healthy options.

The price is clearly overstated for the service level as it is twice as expensive than the next best 5 star hotel on the island. Room was not ready in time, we had to wait 20 minutes to be able to get somebody to do our checkin. We were also lacking some small attentions, eg there is no complementary bottle of water once a day provided in the room, which every other hotel on the island is offering (and this despite 1600$ / night). The hotel is mainly visited by Americans (at least when we have been there) and you can feel that everything is orchestrated around US taste. There is no real privacy (neither from the terrace of the room, nor at the pool) due to the size of the resort with the many rooms and it is clearly a hotel to “show off”. In summary: nice hotel but definitely not worth the money.

The concierge were amazing and super friendly, especially Ignasi who’s like a friend.

When I booked I requested a nice room as it was our anniversary celebration, but they gave us a handicapped room.

everything about this property caters for the guests. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. the location is stunning and the facilities are beautiful.

Due to the expense of staying at a property like this, it can attract a slightly entitled person. My only negative point was having to witness the rudeness of some of the guests to the staff. who, by the way, smiled through it all.

We had a wonderful stay. Our room was just a dream and so was the rest of this lovely hotel. Starting at the beautiful location, to the tasty food, and the very attentive staff, we felt very pampered the entire week.

There were a few problems with housekeeping, but nothing major and it was very easy to handle thanks to the app.

Amazingly beautiful grounds. One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. Delicious and nutritious food. Loved everything about it. Spacious and lovely rooms. Comfy beds. Incredible pool. Wonderfully relaxing atmosphere.

Fantastic setting, facilities and accommodation.

Mixed service - some staff were brilliant, some lacklustre. Not necessarily up to the standard of other Six Senses we have stayed in yet comparatively more expensive.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. We have stayed for almost a week and everyday we were so grateful to wake up in such a beautiful place. Our room was quite large and the views were incredibly. The stuff were generally amazing. We checked in with Marta that was very attentive. At the door Angel, Javi and Luciano were absolutely welcoming and made us fell like home. At night Afonso and Juan were always very helpful. Alex from the security was also very kind to us. The stuff from the Restaurant Cave were amazing, specially the manager Emy. Breakfast was very good. Cleaning service was excellent and very attentive. We absolutely loved the fact that is the most dog friendly hotel we have even been, the dog menu was a winner!

The team of the Restaurant were was supposed to be HaSalon is just really bad and kills the good reputation. They were so unpleasant and rude. However, the food was delicious. At 9PM they started to collect all pillows and cutlery from other tables while we were having dinner. We have requested them to kindly stop doing it. The manager apologized with an attitude and mentioned the pillows would get wet (it was really warm) and keep doing it. It was only missing closing the outside lights. We felt really unwelcome. Really not up to the standards of the hotel and I am sure they are the reason for you to have not the best rate in service. We have tried it twice. The stuff in the spa was also a disaster. We were in the Sauna and 20 min before a lady also comes and open the door and says “the spa will close in 20 min” and they start collecting everything and cleaning. it’s just strange. The massages were bad and the front desk were not the nicest. It’s really a shame because the spa is really beautiful with an outstanding concept. All other teams were exceptional. we hope with HaSalon opening the team will change and we are looking forward to our next visit

They could really do with another restaurant for variety and perhaps an additional family pool too.

This hotel is amazing, cool mix of yoga vibe with fabulous food and views, a great location in the rural north of the island, and the staff are just incredibly, so many friendly, positive, helpful people. It’s great.

There is nothing not to like

Love the concept and the location - the sunsets were really magical every night of our stay. I was also lucky enough to get a call via the waiting list for a massage and it was truly amazing! We loved the food - but even on a 3 night stay we felt it got quite repetitive and each restaurant was really doing a “version” of the same types of food. There was no opportunity to try the sushi restaurant as it was fully booked every night before we arrived

They had only been open 6 weeks or so and must have been acclimatising to the ebb and flow of guests and business. The good parts were lovely and you could see potential, but there were a lot of mix ups, delays, waiting around for food orders and it was clearly a very busy weekend as nothing was available. On arrival we were basically told everything was full and we should urgently call to book dinner reservations - they literally only had spaces at 6 and 10 for every night of our trip. It’s definitely not the same experience as the other hotel in the chain and once we lowered our expectations we still had a great time. It’s just the other resort sets such a high bar so you leave feeling it’s wasn’t quite worth the price as it’s so different. The pool was always busy and there were frequently families and really noisy kids in the central space - so even the premium rooms looking out across the view around the pool would experience the noise from their rooms. I still had a nice time, but there is a lot of refinement to do in order to bring it up to the same level as the other hotel in Oman

Staff was friendly and gave us excellent support with our needs. Japanese resturant top quality. Very comfortable room. A lot of options for yoga activities.

We been there in November that is why for us was not so important to have a nice and children friendly hotel beach, but in the summer for people with a children would not recommend to go. The pool is quite small and in the summer might be a challenge to get the place there.The place is for couple with mood to relax and have quality service.

One hour waiting our luggage after the checkin, confusion and misunderstanding ith a honeymoon cake wrong host, some electric cables hidden in the room. 2 months after opening is amaizing, but need to be perfect for the price, as coordination with conciergerie luggage and fixing details in the room.

Stunning location with a wide range of amenities and friendly attentive staff.

We booked the Six Senses for our honeymoon and, to begin with a positive, the one element that made our stay so special was simply the staff. Even before we arrived, the staff had been emailing us to arrange various spa and dining experiences to help make our stay special and they continued to go above and beyond when arrived with gestures like a champagne reception in the room and a surprise cake at breakfast (when they found out it was also my birthday). It’s also the extra effort they went to in learning our names, favourite drinks and were always so friendly and accommodating with any request we had. The room was gorgeous with a very comfy bed and a beautiful outside space with a view of the sea. We booked treatments in the spa which was a fantastic experience - completely bespoke, relaxing and zen. The view from the main infinity pool was also beautiful and there was a great menu of poolside snacks and drinks.

The pool area is very small and during the sunny days there weren’t enough beds for everyone. Alternatively there is a “beach” by the hotel but it is completely rocky and drops straight into deep sea so only suitable for those looking to paddle board or are very strong swimmers. The capacity of the restaurants are also quite limited so you’re recommended to book via the Six Sense app. This requires a daily effort and a lot of ‘to-ing and fro-ing’ every day with the system when trying to book a table for dinner or organise anything else. This unfortunately led to a number of mistakes such as tables not being booked as promised or explaining dietary issues and still being served food that we couldn’t eat. For vegetarians and vegans there are options available to you but only if you’re willing to pay €18 for a baked sweet potato or pre-book a special meal that’ll cost €100pp. Overall the stay was very enjoyable and the hotel has the right staff and potential to be a luxury experience however it must be said that it didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel yet and is definitely overpriced for what’s currently available.
