Hotel Six Senses, Ibiza

The breakfast was excellent, the service staff were friendly and professional, the location is beautiful, and the overall quality of service was what you would expect from a luxury resort. Unfortunately, all of these positive aspects were overshadowed by the fact that cash disappeared from my bag while it was left in the room. The only people who had access to the room during that period were housekeeping staff or the employee who entered to check the minibar. As a result, what should have been a wonderful stay ended with serious concerns about the security of guests’ belongings.

⭐ 1/10 I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Six Senses Ibiza was deeply disappointing. During my stay from June 6 to June 9, cash disappeared from my bag while it was inside my room. The bag was only left unattended when we were at the pool during the daytime. I also personally observed a member of staff entering the room to check the minibar while we were away. After carefully retracing everything that happened during our stay, I cannot identify any other realistic opportunity for the money to have gone missing. What is most shocking is that this happened at a hotel that markets itself as one of the most exclusive luxury resorts in Ibiza. Guests paying thousands of euros per stay should not have to worry about the safety of their personal belongings inside their own room. The missing money included both euros and Russian rubles. The incident has left me feeling extremely uncomfortable and has completely destroyed the sense of security and trust that a luxury hotel is supposed to provide. I have requested that the hotel review key-card access records and security footage, and I hope a proper investigation is conducted. Until then, I cannot recommend this property to anyone who values the security of their belongings. Beautiful location and design cannot compensate for a situation where a guest leaves feeling that money has disappeared from their room and receives no immediate answers. Very disappointing experience.

We just felt very underwhelmed. Felt like there wasn’t enough staff. Some staff were hard to understand. The dinner options were not good and one night could only go into one restaurant. We won’t be coming back

Beautiful property

Service was not up to scratch. I've stayed here a couple of times this summer and the service is not 5 star. They do work to resolve issues but are slow to respond and communicate, guest relations is slow and a let down for the property. Lack of restaurant availability meant eating in the Spanish regularly.

Overpriced due to high volume of block bookings which leaves only a small inventory of rooms directly bookable for which they massively overcharge.

The property is beautiful and the design is great and has options for restaurants. Longevity clinic is also great and the boutique Agora is fantastic

The pool! Too busy very loud too many kids! Not enough sun beds for such a big hotel next to each other zero privacy. Generally there is more noise in the resort than what there should be considering it’s promoted as a zen place

A stunning bohemian property that truly encapsulates all that is Ibiza nestled in the beautiful hills in the north of the island. We had a deluxe sea view room which was extremely comfortable and beautiful designed. The spa is very nice, a little on the small side which could be problematic during peak season but offers a lovely steam room & Infa red sauna. My massage was very good. The homemade kaffir and health juices at breakfast were delicious.

We had hoped to enjoy the hike, yoga and meditation classes on offer but all classes were fully booked for all 3 days during our stay which was hugely disappointing and for many the main reason to stay at this hotel. I would advise anyone booking this hotel to download the hotel app in advance and pre book all your classes. I would also advise the same for the spa as very limited space available. Queuing for a table at breakfast was a little surprising as the hotel only appeared to be at 50%ish capacity. Although many aspects of breakfast were great sadly 2 out of 3 mornings my hot breakfast was cold and although the service was very friendly it was rather slow. Room was not cleaned on day 2 so requested a clean and fresh towels via the app and was advised house keeping were on the way. Housekeeping never came. Mini bar and snacks were never restocked.

Food and nice room upgrade

Food was overpriced. Breakfast area did not feel well designed. Most tables are inside, for an ‘island’ hotel half the point is to enjoy being outdoors. No safe sea access although the hotel is on the water. Service was patchy, with most waiters/waitresses seeming disinterested. Constant music by the pool and over the top activities. We did the ‘pickling’ class, when the teacher had no interest in pickling. It felt very novelty and cheap. Instead of the added on embellishments they would benefit from considering the basics.

The spa, service at pool, atmosphere, food quality. Very good with kids and accommodating.

Pool is not heated. Way, way, way overpriced food on site and for the price you are paying, you should have some more perks in the room. Ex- they gave a nice hat and beach bag- this should be complimentary. Who reuses a hat???

Gorgeous cliff top location and very stylish decor. My room had a fabulous view. The highlight of my trip was the Rose Bar, I had a call with Christina before I arrived, she created me a bespoke programme for my stay and it was exactly what I needed. Everything was amazing and her & colleagues made me feel at ease. Energy session with Judith was very powerful.

The food was only ok and expensive. Service was touch and go at breakfast, each morning I asked for milk for my coffee 3 times. The spa experience was average relative to the amazing Rose bar. Agree with others that a full length mirror would be handy in the bedroom.

Amazing breakfast, a beautiful location with marvellous sunsets. The service was great, and there were good opportunities for relaxation, sport, baby sitting, etc.

Ridiculous upselling, after we had to pay a large price for the room already. Expensive water by the pool, and simply everything overpriced and marked up. Price value for money can not be justified. We could see a lot of signs of usage already on the hotel, for that price one expects perfection.

there is no beach to speak of, which was sort of a bummer, and even though they are welcoming to children this is really more of a resort for couples.

Fantastic stay in the North of the island with wonderful views and impeccable health dedicated theme. It is a perfect place to reconnect with yourself while immersing yourself in the luxury services that they offer.

Our room has been cleaned after 3 pm on 3 out of 4 nights that we were there. Even though we complained and asked for this to be managed better, we had to actively chase the team via app, phone and in-person until resolved. The team can do better st providing feedback on the raised issues. Although breakfast is outstanding in some areas, a richer choice of veggies and vegan options.

Kids, unfortunately it is very popular with people with kids under 5 which made it noisy - wish it was adults only!

Everything was first class, the rooms, the food, the locations. Just excellent.

Hotel was quite far away from the West side of the island that has some of the most beautiful beaches, about a 50-60min drive depending on traffic. There are a number of small beaches close by though can get crowded quickly.

The quality of the food was fine though nothing special, the restaurants could step it up a notch

Breakfast was like a marathon it just went on and on. Every diet catered for, with both menu choices and self-service, the location is beautiful with a wide terrace overlooking the bay. Staff could not be more friendly and helpful.

Beach area was rocky and noisey due to proximity of the property’s generator however a good place to launch a morning swim in the sea

Absolutely stunning architecture and views. The staff couldn’t do enough for us.

Not really a negative as we were happy being out of the way, but travelling to other areas of the island takes a little planning. As we were there out of season taxi’s aren’t as frequent as at the height of summer, if we were staying for longer than a long weekend we’d have hired a car.

The staff and the service was great. The sea view from the pool is wordless and the sunset is amazing. There are some places in front of the beach you can stay and the view is incredible. They offer snorkeling too. The gym is really big, very good equipments and there is a personal trainer at your disposal. The room we stayed was really big, comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast was really good. They offer plenty of activities to do, from yoga to guided walking around the island.

At our first night we had a long wait to have dinner. There are 3 restaurants in the hotel, but 2 of them were closed. We were not informed about that and we ended up going to the closed restaurants. We waited for around one hour to have dinner on the only open restaurant. There was a dog poop in the garden of our room. I believe it was there for a while and after two nights there the poop was still there. This was very disappointing. One day at the pool we requested a bottle of wine and sushi, after one hour waiting we spoke to the waiter and they had forgotten to register our order.

We had a problem in the room with the water and reported it in the morning, problem could not be fixed eventually… but they offered a solution and we are looking forward to are next stay

One of the best hotels we have stayed in so far! We were very satisfied with everything, the best possible service, the other services and very helpful staff. Our room exceeded all expectations. The food was impeccable every time. We'll definitely come back!
